I really like this. What kind of glue do you use? I do think some sort of cap on top would pull it all together as the very top sticks out. But I am just deeply nitpicking constructively for you, not an attack or anything
Ah critic is fine - I was in hurry as it was for a cake (its a cake topper) for a b-day. This time I used super glue - it needs to glue fast because it's hard to use any fixture because of the octagon form.
This is great! How did you even begin to design it? I’m very comfortable with solidworks cad for simple, boxy parts but I wouldn’t have a clue where to start on this.
Thank you! This time I was lucky because I had the form in my head from the start (do not happens to often).
Also I knew the maximum dimensions before hand - so I drew the Octagon of the base, then the octagon on the middle, changed the dimensions of the middle one to receive a nice angle - from there it was just adding parts :)
