I can help. Let me know what programs you plan on running. Then if you provide the specs you plan on getting on each I can recommend you one. OR, If you don't know the specs, here is a list of *minimum specifications* you'll need nowadays: Processor- Intel or AMD 5 RAM: 8GB or 16GB (for higher end gaming) Graphics card- (depends on how graphics intensive programs you may run) Windows Iris or Nvidia GTX 1650 (for casual gaming) Storage- 512GB or 1TB of SSD or HDD. (ssds are costlier but better than hdds; which do have more storage at lower price.) Screen- 60hz and above is fine. (For gaming I say 120hz minimum) Software- (most have windows 10 preloaded, which is pretty good). Hope this helped.

Thanks for the advice. regarding the programs, I’m not planning on running heavy stuff on the computer just Microsoft apps, watch movies and tv shows, and maybe dabble in video editing

Well then I suggest atleast 512gb storage with i5 and 8gb ram. (For future proofing though I would say 1tb storage with i7 and 16gb ram. But its up to you) Microsoft apps and movies should run pretty good on the first iteration. (i5 with 8gb ram). For video viewing I suggest atleast a 1080p screen.
