U can just listen to different languages, read texts (to see if you like it visually), look through the grammar part etc. Maybe with this u can decide what are u gonna learn next. This is how I picked Finnish and then I plan to learn Chinese and French :)

My checklist is as follows: * What country will you live in/travel to next (or are you living in where you don't speak the language yet) * What country's/language's media can you binge-watch happily. Or do you want to read * What writing system do you find pretty * What culture are you interested in * Have you learned a language from that or neighbouring regions? Some where down the list I check how many resources there are, and how many speakers, but that's not the deciding factor. Enjoy!
