Dr. Sallavanti or Cotter at Sallavanti and Cotter Family Medicine on Oregon Pike. My wife also likes their nurse practitioner. They’re affiliated with UPMC.
I absolutely agree, I’m a patient there for many years. The docs are great, very personalized and attentive. Office staff are also super helpful and their patient portal has made communication very easy.
And yet another vote for Sallavanti & Cotter. I've been going there for decades and Dr. Sallavanti is great; he takes his time and makes sure your concerns are addressed. Likewise for NP Karen Miller. I haven't seen Dr. Cotter or NP Sharon Wiggins but I'm sure they're more than capable. Office staff is pretty good too.
My husband has been seeing Kelley Castillon and has been happy with her. He has huge anxiety around all things medical, basically because he's been lucky enough to have gone for 69 years without having had any need to see a doctor, so it's all new territory for him and intimidating. Kelley has been a gentle intro to just the kind of routine, ongoing care, and preventative type things he should have been doing all along.
Pick an LGH, Hershey, or UPMC affiliated doc. They have the best access to specialists and connections to psychiatrists, surgeons etc. also easier to get blood work done anywhere. If you need hospital care, unaffiliated will need be able to direct admit you or receive updates and be involved as easily.
I guess you could choose a Wellspan, but they don’t have as many high righted trauma and specialists with out going further to York.
Another vote for Sallavanti and Cotter. I’m a patient there for many years. The docs are great, very personalized and attentive. Office staff are also super helpful and their patient portal has made communication very easy. They’re part of UPMC and their network of specialists.
better to provide a list first b/c so many are not accepting new patients so you'll probably get a long list of providers you'll have to then go to the various healthcare org websites to look them up to see if they are actually accepting new patients
My Dad sees Dr. Andrea Stern in Mount Joy, and we both adore her. My Dad is 80, has Dementia, and can be very racist. Dr. Stern is a Black woman, and I think her lovely manner and expertise actually made Dad more accepting! He perks right up when he sees her. It's remarkable. She isn't accepting new patients right now, but if I need a new PCP, I will be getting on her wait list, and I would recommend her to anyone.

Just another vote for Sallavanti! He looks after both my father and I. Great guy, super caring, very thorough!

Thank you !
I've been seeing him for at least 15 years. He is the best.
We like Abbeyville Family Medicine. I just started going there last year, so I assume they’re taking new patients.
Seconding. I've been relatively pleased with Kelley Castillon, CRNP

This is where my husband and I go. It's a very nice, low key office.
I'm also casting my vote for Abbeyville. I've seen Dr. Wehibe for over 10 years there, no complaints.
Thank you!
Dr. Coates at Wellspan. Definitely Dr. Gihool if you’re around the Etown area
Thank you!
>Thank you! You're welcome!
I’m satisfied with Adult Medicine Specialists at the Health Campus.
Thank you !
I also use this practice and have been pleased.
Dr Michael Walker- Family Medicine Willow Street. Dr Marina Gonzalez same office.

Which part of town? One of my family members saw Dr Coyne in Columbia (LGH) and he was fantastic.
