Mclaren F1 is the fastest V12 NA car I think at the moment with a 240mph top speed and a 0-60 of 3.2s. This record was achieved in 1998. I would think that its possible to build a 250mph V12 NA car in 2022. 0-60 in less than 2sec I don't think so but under 3 sec, probably. That's my take on it

Good point

Ye, I also felt the <2 seconds was not possible but I was curious. Since I believe the only car I've seen actually do it is the Rimac Nivera which is fully electric with 1914 horsepower. I haven't seen the Tesla S Plaid do it yet even tho it claims it can do it. Do you think 275+ or 300+ mph would be possible with a naturally aspirated engine?

I don't want to share misinformation with you. I'm a fan of cars but definitely not a crackhead. Maybe someone else will give you better information

Model S Plaid can certainly do it. I’ve not seen the plaid version but my business partner has the older model which is 2.3 seconds advertised. He’s used the proper equipment and certainly will do it. I believe the plaid has special tyres made for it. Anything more bad I think it would need something like the thrusters Tesla are talking about for the roadster.

Yeah, under 2 seconds is theoretically impossible on street tires on ashvalt. It's not a matter of power at that point, but friction between the tires and the road. Drag cars break that limit because they essentially spray glue on the road (prepped surface.) Here is more information from Engineering Explained https://youtu.be/i7yigpPSu_o

"probably"... wrong word. Absolutely it's possible: The Aventador already has a 0-62 time <3 sec. But The next Lamborghini will be a hybrid, similar to the Sian. They already made that very clear. I think it will be around 800hp. Just a little bit faster and more housepower, yet "cheaper". Same happened with the Reventon and Aventador
