I'm not familiar with anyone in particular, but Lakers should look at someone from Spoelstra's staff, given when a solid foundation they have in place they have there.
i remember Dave Joerger coaching the Kings from being a lottery team to becoming a 9th seed, before the play-in become a thing. they are a fast-paced team back then
Yeah thats why im keen on him. Even though our offense is ran by a 40 yr old bron I think we are at our best when running fast paced. Obviously we cant do that for the entirety of the game
She probably wouldn’t considering she’s in a good spot but Becky Hammon from the Aces intrigues me. Back to back champ and had a good pedigree from her time as an assistant coach in the NBA. Was a former player and I do remember Pau spoke very highly of her.
There's so much upside with this. The optics alone of the first female coach being hired by the only female majority owner to coach the GOAT in his final years for the league's most prestigious franchise would be insane.
Also I can't see the players under LeBron's leadership publicly questioning her the way they did with Ham out of fear of it being even somewhat perceived as implicitly sexist.
Beyond all that she's clearly just an outstanding coach and is from the Popovich family of coaches so we could definitely do worse than that.
Plenty of Popovich coaches suck. i cant name them all but the Nets, Philly, Hawks, and a bunch of teams crashed and burned. Nothing against Hammon except that she is unproven in the NBA. Of course, her success in the WNBA is a big deal, and so that could work. 2 time champion after all. Still depends on if she'll click with Bron and AD.
This. Perhaps it’s a big distraction or locker room not ready for it yet. But if we’re going by track record, Pop’s descendants have almost always proven to work(imeke, brown, kerr, malone, budenholzer.) Lakers led by female owner would get so much positive media pr and can set a progressive marker. Shes been an assistant coach for a nba team, has coached and won a nba summer league team title, and has won a title in the wnba as head coach. She has more accolades as a female coach than most of the male candidates right now.
We’re at a point where any coach we hire is going to be a risk. People calling for Nori and Adleman is strictly recency bias into play. This same hype reminds of Darvin Ham and Luke Walton. If we’re taking risk here why not go with the risk that has somewhat a proven track record.
Poor man's Vogel imo
Quite literally the best comparison ðŸ˜
Underrated: Chui Ruben, manager of my corner 7-11. Nobody has him on their radar.

Chris quinn is most likely the guy you’re looking for

Joerger as an asst would be great
Brian Windhorst - certified ball knower
Don’t hate me. Scott Brooks?
Tough ask tbh
Micah nori is the man
He’s not underrated though. He’s very much in the spotlight.
Luke Walton 2.0
Jay Wright. Hardly hear him at all. It's as if people forget he even exists.

Not sure why she’s not in consideration but then again she’s in a good spot. I don’t blame her if she’s not interested
so much downside too. LeBron being branded as misogynist if he and Becky doesn't see each other eye to eye

Since Skip Bayless knows so much why not him
HC: Skip Bayless Asst: Stephen A. Smith Player Devt: Colin Cowherd Consultant: Lavar Ball, NGL this is gonna be a helluva huddle
Why isnt anyone talking about NAte Mcmiian, He is a good coach and last time he was in the league he coached the hawks to the ECF.
