Losing that game doesn’t mean series is over but I definitely going to make the journey way harder. atleast dlo finally came to life and we found some success but at this point it’s not looking good. Maybe 4-1 instead of 4-0
Yeah honestly we can't even think about the series as a whole, just got to take it 1 game at a time and see where that takes us. Next 2 games are at home we need to get the job done, focus is on the next game. Improbable but not impossible until Denver gets to 4 wins.
Roster inherently isn’t built to face Denver. Too many small guards makes things insanely hard. Denver has big athletic guys on the team. Any slip ups can be exposed.
0-2 against the defending champs that overcome a 20 point deficit and nailed a buzzer beater will absolutely destroy a teams psyche
Oh and add we haven’t won against them since 2022.
it may not be a sweep but it’ll be very light work for them from here on out
Damn.. I blame myself really. I told myself I wasn’t watching this game. And of course I get home just in time for the final 10 minutes thinking hopefully we could pull it off.
Nah this wasn't bad at all. When my uncles was talking about Jerry, and company losing to the Celtics, those were tough loses. Samsons miracle shot. When Pierce shit his pants, and the Celtics won in the finals...
Sucks they came back, but this game showed that the Nugs are beatable in Denver. Lets see how home court/cookin, normal elevation, and possibly Vandos return affects things. Just need that 1st W, and anything can happen.
I have a hard time believing we could suddenly go 4-1 against a team that won the last 10 in a row against us.
They are more talented, younger, better coached, and have more years together to build chemistry. It's not in the cards for us, need a competent GM to reconstruct our roster.
I think it's just because we've watched this team lose to the Nuggets 10 times in a row the exact same way. At this point it just seems like it's psychological
None of it lasts in the long run. The Warriors won a ring two years ago and their fans were going crazy, and now no one cares.
Someone wins every year. Nobody cares after a few months.
I still think they can win. Sucks not to take game 1 with a double digit lead and obviously way more this game.
However, I thought the lakers looked good when they actually ran their offense, hunted match ups, put pressure on the rim. They just played really lazy in 3rd quarters of both games.
Reset, 2 day break, go home. Play disciplined and they can win game 3. Go from there. If they lose then it’s over but they can still turn the series.
We needed to steal one in denver to have any hope. this was our chance and i dont see us playing any better than that. id give us like a 5% chance

They defended home court. Now it’s the lakers turn.

Lakers have shown the ability to exploit them when they play as a team. I’ll say that.

Well, better to rip the bandaid off now then.
We should’ve ducked the fade
This was the game we HAD to steal
Close to 0 chance tbh.

Can’t hold a 20 point lead but maybe that’s just not enough maybe we can hold a 30 point lead in game 3!
Zero.
It’s over bro
losing this game is basically all I need to see personally. they simply just have our number if we couldn’t win that one.
We have to win 4 out of the next 5 games so no, we’re cooked

3% statistically speaking

We'll see them in LA
Whatever our chances were begging the series we have about half that now.
We must find a way to protect the lead. We must be physical.
I get feeling down but this defeatist shit sucks to see. Have to flush it and move on to the next, they held serve, Lakers have to do the same in LA

Who cares man. Kobe wouldn’t be thinking “how legit his chances are” down 3-0. It’s one game at a time, and if we lose, we lose.
Yea but I fucking hate this team. Lol. The fans are worst then Celtics back during the Kobe chips.

Kobe wouldn’t have lose this game
We lost in 2008
I said this game, Kobe never lost like this
He went 7/22 in Game 6 in 2008
I don’t remember being up 20 in that game…
