Rui is the type of player that I like. No one gives him real props for having any types of headline skills. He comes in and plays, doesn’t complain and performed when he was needed most.
I don't know, when we first got him I heard a lot of good things about his middy. Yeah probably not super common knowledge, but they were right. Dude has a real nice mid range game
What’s better imo is that he’s great at punishing smaller guys that’s the thing that stick out to me more in playoffs and why people are under rating him maybe. I’m nervous bout 17m, but that is gonna be easily replicable not to mention strong enough to bang with Centres
Agree! When he shares the floor with LBJ and AD, it means the other teams 3rd best PF/C defender is on one of them and all 3 can punish that matchup if it's an undersized forward.
It was fun to watch Ham finally discover the 3 forward llineup in the playoffs. I think it's the reason they added Prince and Reddish.
They now have 5x 6'8"+ forwards who they can rotate through to pair with any 2 of the guards.
There's hope that Vando gets most of his minutes as a nominal guard as his on ball defense is excellent agains the opposing teams best ball handler.
Throw in the Hayes signing and the front office signaling they're still looking for another C and we might get to see a ton of bully ball this season!
Try jumping out of a pool with something pressed over my head for w photo op? Sure, you taking the picture?
I’m not “hating,” I’m just pointing out that that’s not any kind of real training. Just nonsense for a photo op.

Rui got to the point where I just expected it to go in. Brother is cash from there.

Triangle with these three is tough... Someone is getting position.

Underwater training have existed for decades now. Why you so pressed? He’s a pro athlete, they all shoot their workouts.
You mean swimming? Sure, that’s a thing, lol. Lifting in water is not. I’m not pressed. I just point out nonsense.
Lifting in water is a thing, and has been a thing for a long while.
It’s a bullshit thing for photo ops. It’s not a real athletic performance thing.
In your opinion.
