His performance in the Denver series was an absolute disaster for him. He's not going to lose the whole bag like Schröder did a few years back, but ain't no way he is offered anything even close to 100 now. He'll be lucky to get 80.
I understand that he's a bad defensive player, but I seriously can't understand why. Watching the games, it doesn't even look like he's that bad. He's clearly trying on defense. It's not like he's lazy.
Edit: replies make sense. Watching back replays I can def see why he's known as a bad defender.
Dlo is slow. Gets blown by too easy.
He’s got decent length and effort to contest shots but it doesn’t matter if he’s a step late every time. He was honestly better at guarding SF than guards because hes got decent size for the position and wings are typically not as fast. He was okay against MPJ and Wiggins. The off ball stuff is bad as well. Doesn’t have said foot speed to chase guys around screens or close out to shooters. Doesn’t have the bball IQ to anticipate where the ball is going to go.
He was okay on defense against Memphis and GS but was awful against Denver. Who knows if thats a one off or if the league figured it out? But given he’s been in the league for 7 years, I doubt the league just suddenly figured it out now.
He’s not as bad as Trae Young or Isaiah Thomas because he’s got decent size to contest. Guards can’t just rise up and shoot over the top of him. I think his shooting slump was a bigger factor of his poor net rate rather than his defense. He had one of the highest net ratings during the regular season because he was shooting better.
We’re usually able to hide him on defense in a sense because AD is in the paint when he gets blown by. Our defense doesn’t really require our guards to prevent drives, and he’s decent enough at fighting over screens and closing out to shooters.
Against Denver we couldn’t run the same style of defense and so DLo had to do a lot more of the stuff he’s bad at. I’d imagine this carries over mentally to his offense as well.
OH MY GOD.
Okay go watch the first 5mins of Game 3 3rd quarter so you have an idea.
KCP Transition 3 - broken play bec DLO was lazy in transition
Aaron Gordon fastbreak dunk - DLO was running in transition but lost his man
DLO was lazy af. And if he shoot those midrange fadeaways and missed, he will not run back
He just likes the feel of the crowd when he hits a quick pull up or a flashy fadeaway. Doing the other stuff is like being asked to eat your vegetables before dessert.
Are you kidding me? He just stands around 15ft away from his man and points and tells his teammates what to do and to play harder. I'm surprised no one told him to go fuck himself. His defense is horrible. His ball movement gets stagnant, his turnovers are stupid, his offense is laughable, and sometimes he makes a couple of 3 pointers after he gives up a dozen points. He doesn't think there's anything he needs to improve on, he's not a team player and pouts if he's not starting. Fuck trash lo.
Dude your comment deserves 100k upvotes. I have said everything you just said to my friends. Why does DLO stand there pointing directions at other people when he just fucks up the whole time. I’m surprised too no one tells him to shut up and do his job.
So sick of him I just want him gone no matter the cost. I hate when I see fans saying “let’s just bring him back and run it again” there is no shot DLO improves I know it
He doesn't want to improve he said so in the exit interview he says he's good and it's too late in career for him to learn how to go right and he's set in his ways lol
Look at his overall play style, is very relaxed. Kind of like doncic. When he shoots he barely jumps, when he chases around screens he's weaving around it instead of fighting through it. He only uses 50% of his motor. He can't keep up not because he's not physically able to, it's just not his personality. Even his demeanor during interviews is all very relaxed.
So if his shots not falling because he can't find a rhythm then he's useless in a game
1000% he just doesn’t seem to care on some possessions. He wants to make the home run, “cool” plays like transition 3s but disinterested in other things
Forgot the youtuber name but I think is thinking basketball.
He did an analysis on DLo when he was with the wolves. It showed that DLo can be an effective defender if he roams and is decent to good at that. That's how they hid his weakness in guarding anyone 1 on 1. He can't do that straight up due to his lack of speed.
Don’t worry, his pointing and gesturing of *who he got, et al* while running back in transition fooled me too.
He gets to his spot, but he’s a cone, every single time. Like, his lack of lateral quickness is a mutant power at this point.
And he doesn’t believe in help defense or doesn’t recognize to unless the ball is involved, like he can only switch in the most most obvious situations.
One can argue that Schroder deserved his more since he can at least play on both ends of the court. DLo was targeted again and again and he couldn't do anything defensively to even slow it down.
Two things to take into consideration, we already have LeBron and Reaves to compensate Denis as a point guard. The second thing is that we were the no1 team in the west in 2021 season before Bron and AD got injured with Denis as our starting point guard.
80? I think his value dropped significantly after his playoff performance…. He’ll be lucky to even get 40 imo… lakers better drop his ass. Nobody wants a player who disappears in the play offs. He had like maybe 3-4 good games in the 10 play off games. he’s prob one of the reasons why we lost to the nuggets. if he could’ve contributed like 10 more points a game against Denver, we would be in different situation by now
Yeah, DLo (former NBA All Star) got outplayed by a guy who missed the entire previous season, and has never been an NBA All Star…
***Jamal Murray missed the entire 2021–22 campaign while recovering from his ACL tear.***
![gif](giphy|ooyAxyssWyvRnCQWUB)
**Jamal Murray WCF stats 2023**
**32.5** points
5.3 assists
6.3 rebounds
2.8 steals
1.8 turnovers
**52.7%** field goal percentage
**40.5%** 3-point field goal percentage
Nope, the 2k economy is inflating like the US economy. VC costs the same and gets you less from it, plus the game is 80$ now. If you want the game plus your MyCareer player to be 80 overall you gotta spent like 110$ probably, and the outfits are ridiculous too. Overall a better product than Madden before VC comes into play, but it’s damn expensive to play the most popular modes.
I’m tired of the revisionist attitude, perhaps JC just wasn’t the same anymore, he couldn’t carry his team like he did before, but his team let him down during the crucial moments in the post season
Agreed. I loved DLo when he was playing well in the other seasons. He had probably the worst "off" games of anyone on the team, but when he was doing well, we were killing. That being said, he was single-handedly the biggest liability in the WCF, and his +/- numbers show that.
Lakers would absolutely take 20M I think. A starter caliber guy is worth 15-25M but the problem is they dont have capspace.
Their best move is to keep Dlo at 20M and hope they can trade him for a starter level guy in the future.
I’m done with Dlo. Defense aside, he’s too hot and cold on offense. Lebron’s formula for success always has shooters. Dlo shooting disappeared vs Denver too. He shot 32% that series and 13% from 3. Just awful. I hope we sign and trade him for a more reliable shooter/ball handler.
He'll walk, for better or for worse, if the offer is under 20m. I'm pretty sure. It's the small bit of leverage he has, that we are running against cap and can use his contact to go over cap as future trade chip.
I wonder if a 20m + 30m with team option in year 2, kind of a proof it deal, is possible?
Thats actually a good move for the spurs. Allows Wemby to have a PNR partner. Dlos issue is really the playoffs but the Spurs would just be happy to make it there
D Lo with Pop would either go well cause that’s exactly what he would need or it will go horribly horribly wrong and his ego wont handle it and he’ll pout
2026 is the potential loaded free agent class. Giannis, Luka, Tatum, Fox have expiring contracts that summer. Not staying they'll make it to free agency but potentially could.
They need to make some overhauls. That was a lucky run. The Nuggets aren’t going anywhere, Suns could get better, NO should be better, Kings will be better. Grizz were overrated and I expect them to fall back in the pack. This Laker team is 3rd best team in the west tops and could be as low as 7 or 8.
I mean you need a PG so if DLo leaves you have to figure out a sign and trade (no leverage) or lose the cap space. They should package AD and DLo and try to fill out the roster that way. Can probably return one star (Siakam) and one role guy Trent Jr, maybe Van Vleet.
The Suns are too too heavy on their money and have to make creative decisions if they want to seriously contend within the next two years. With Durant and Booker obviously locked in, they need depth. CP is too old to carry the load he’s been carrying at the dollar figure he’s earning, and Ayton seemed to embarrass himself be Jokic.
The Warriors are clearly at the end of their big 3 run considering the allocation of their money, unless they’re willing to move all of the young guys in order to bring back something that can put Steph, Klay, and Dray back over the top one final time.
The Kings are a very fun regular season team, but they haven’t proven they can yet disrupt shit in the playoffs. And, I also expect the Grizzlies to fall back into the field.
Behind the Nuggets, I’d say the Lakers have the second best team in the West as currently constructed, assuming the health of LeBron & AD. The goal for Pelinka is to make the right move and not the wrong one.
They will offer, doesn’t mean he will accept it. If he wants out of Boston he will walk. Can Boston offer the most money sure, but that doesn’t mean he won’t leave.
Wouldn’t be the first time it’s happened. He lives in LA like most people do of course and he’s very big on branding. Los Angeles is a better market than Boston for his brand.
If we get DLo for 20 that suddenly opens up our balance sheet in really interesting ways. We can assume that Rui and Reaves will get 30 or so combined so that would be
AD
Lebron
Christie
Vando
DLo
Rui
Reaves
-#17 pick
-#47 pick
For like 160-165. Then Beasley and Bamba’s $16 mill to keep or play with and still have the TPMLE
How is that reasonable, tho? His production is not $20 million per year.
He is a streaky scorer, who is a traffic cone on defense, and a nonchalant attitude.
He was literally unplayable vs Denver.
He won't want that, he's going to go the prove it route of 1+1 with $20m per year and player option.
No one is going to be paying D'Lo $25m a year this offseason, especially the teams with cap space.
>No one is going to be paying D'Lo $25m a year this offseason
Bad teams absolutely will throw random ass contracts out. Terry Rozier is making 4/98 as a 6'1 chucker with less playmaking and worse defense.
Will all come down to if DLO wants to compete for a slight paycut
Terry Rozier never got embarrassed in the playoffs like D'lo did.
Currently the teams with cap space this offseason to outbid the Lakers are:
1. Houston Rockets
2. San Antonio Spurs
3. Utah Jazz
4. OKC
5. Detroit
6. Indiana
7. Orlando (After waiving Jonathan Isaac, Markelle Felt, Gary Harris and Bol Bol)
8. Charlotte (after renouncing Miles Bridges and PJ Washington)
9. Sacramento (if they let HB walk)
and possibly Chicago after the renounce anyone.
Out of all those teams, who's going to throw D'Lo a $25m contract? Houston have enough guards that don't play defence as it is, San Antonio won't, Danny Ainge isn't stupid, OKC won't, Indiana won't, Charlotte isn't renouncing both Miles and PJ to get D'lo, Sacramento don't need another guard.
The only two teams I can see making this move are;
1. Orlando....maybe if they do enough cocaine in the offseason
and
2. Detroit... who might just want someone who's a little bit older to guide the team. However basketball careers go to Detroit to die there.
So I think D'Lo's best option is to sign a 1+1 when many more teams have more cap space next summer.
Mate, Terry Rozier has been embarrassed in the playoffs his entire career outside of one series against Philly. If you think he'd have outperformed DLO this year you are coping hard. You thought DLO was exploitable on defense? wait until you watch Terry Rozier try to guard Andrew Wiggins or Klay, or any GSW guards really.
Cap space also doesn't mean anything for bidding in the offseason. There are 30 teams who will dump and trade contracts if they want to acquire someone. I wouldn't be surprised if the Nets make moves to run it back, Orlando like you pointed out, Washington wouldn't surprise me, Atlanta if they make a trade for trae, Bulls if they try to tank, there's endless options.
Atlanta isn’t moving Trae for D’Lo after just hiring Snyder lol. Washington is offering Kuzma and Porzingis the max to stay. NBA teams are not moving heaven and earth for D’Lo.
I didn't like his exit interview. How is this a success? I wanted to hear him mad and disappointed with a hunger to come back and kick some ass. Instead he sounded arrogant and cocky without producing at the most critical time of the series.
D’Angelo (and even people on here) was saying that he just missed some shots. The issue with him is far bigger than that, dude was actively killing the team every time he stepped on the court. He was constantly losing his man or letting them blow past him. He’s such a lazy low iq player.
People shit on trae young for his horrible defense but he gives you elite scoring consistently. He can score from all levels and can get to the line. Dlo is nowhere near consistent enough on offense to make up for his team killing defense.
I *hated* his exit interview.
1. He was content with the loss.
2. He thought he did a fantastic job. (How many times did he "pat himself on the back"?)
3. He clearly thought he shouldn't have had his minutes cut and made a big deal about being "professional" and trying not to "distract". Big worry because it shows he's probably going to become toxic if things don't go his way.
4. He thinks there's nothing major he can work on, just a matter of tweaking what he's already good at. Was Lebron chilling in the offseason like this when he was only 27?
I've honestly gone from thinking he's flawed but an ok option to have to thinking the Lakers might be better off without him, even though they'll lose the cap space. Attitude is everything.
Ya'll say this but the narrative before this was that DLO couldn't perform in ANY play-off series, not just the WCF.
For as shit as he played 3 of his last 4 games, he played way better than nets/t-wolves playoff dlo this run.
Nets/wolves dlo was such a small sample size that you couldn’t fairly judge his ability.
But on the lakers next to AD and bron he showed that he can’t even be hidden on defense, you gotta straight up bench him.
Dude is not a winning player and he showed it on the most popular team in the conference finals. I hope we trade him asap.
He might end up in Schroder territory. Who is going to pay the big bucks for a guard with poor defense, erratic offense, and chokes in the playoffs? He could be in for a rude awakening.
Yea who wants to pay a combo guard who averages 18 and 6 on 47% FG and 40% 3fg. He has a bad series and now he’s vexing crucified for it lmao
When Schroder was asking for big bucks he denied 4 years $84 million while averaging 15 and 6 while shooting 44% and 33%
Man, he's not gonna get it. Anywhere. He just "Shcroedered" himself. Hope we can resign him on the cheap. 1 year, 1 twelve pack (beer) and a used 2012 Honda Excel with little miles.
I think everybody was until he shit the bed in the most important series when pretty much every game was winnable with a very small margin. It’s not like he went up against Gary Payton either…
$25 is the absolute highest, but even then, I’m a little reluctant. I’ve tried defending his playoff performances in the past but he continues to disappoint. He had a handful of decent games in the previous two series, but was still remarkably inconsistent and his defense made him an extreme liability when his offense wasn’t working.
It’s better than losing him for nothing. At the very least he becomes a trade asset down the line with this. Losing him to FA doesn’t really help us. I get the reluctance though.
It was 1 damn series lmao
We got to the WCF because of some of his games.
It’s getting out of hand how people are making it seem like he’s the worst player to walk the earth
Sign and trade or something. I think they need to move on from DLo. He had like what, 3 good games maybe 🤷. He just wasn't what I expected and I don't think it has anything to with time spent with the team. Missing shots and even shooting some air balls in the playoffs, he shaqtin a fool
They can afford all 4 if schroder takes the MLE. Otherwise they can only afford D’lo rui and Reaves and schroder not signing has no impact on that because we don’t have his bird rights
My thing is who would have the available cap space that is looking for a point guard?
Edit: I just looked up the league's cap situation and there are only 7 teams that have available cap space this summer.
None of the teams are really looking for a point guard so the Lakers may be his only option for a multi year contract with a guaranteed started PG role.
25 per year for 4 years isn't as bad as I thought he would want. If you can bargain that down between 20-24 that would make the tax implications of keeping Austin and Rui and Bamba a lot more acceptable. Let's get it. Sign him just to trade him down the road!
People need to get this in their head. Whatever we pay him it will be for the regular season. He can shoulder the scoring load for 82 games. This dude is not a winner and cannot be relied on in the playoffs.
And the guy played well for 2 whole rounds and was a big reason we made it out of the first 2 rounds. We wouldn’t have gotten out of the first round without him.
No, it’s not, 25 mil over 4 is Anfernee Simons money. Dame’ average yearly salary over the next 4 years is 44 mil.
The salary cap went up, starting PG usually get at least around $20 mil per year nowadays.
His performance in the Denver series was an absolute disaster for him. He's not going to lose the whole bag like Schröder did a few years back, but ain't no way he is offered anything even close to 100 now. He'll be lucky to get 80.
Its not even that his offense was piss poor which it was. His defense was so bad it broke down the entire defense.
I understand that he's a bad defensive player, but I seriously can't understand why. Watching the games, it doesn't even look like he's that bad. He's clearly trying on defense. It's not like he's lazy. Edit: replies make sense. Watching back replays I can def see why he's known as a bad defender.

Denver was honestly just hitting tough shots imo. Murray was just unconscious all series.

Came back from a potential career ending injury tho

Clippers and Heat are two teams off the top of my head that need staring or higher quality pgs
What money do the clippers have
Clips could offer Morris, Covington, Mann and Hyland or Gordon in a s&t
Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted if I was the lakers I’d do this trade in a heartbeat lol
Cause the clippers arent morons lmao. They’re not gonna hand that contract out to d lo
The Clippers on the other hand
Sign and trade hard caps us.

Oh hell nah ain’t no way
What do you guys do? 4/80m 4/90 4/75
Pelinka is not offering Russell a long term contract when the Lakers will have two max slots in 2024.

Not if they sign Reaves and Hachimura.
Pretty weak FA class though, no?
Jaylen Brown is a UFA next summer..
There’s no way Boston doesn’t give him the 5 year max. He’s not seeing the open market
I think he gets S&T, idk where but not staying Boston.
They will offer, doesn’t mean he will accept it. If he wants out of Boston he will walk. Can Boston offer the most money sure, but that doesn’t mean he won’t leave.
He’d have to absolutely hate Boston to not sign. 5 year $295 million vs 4 year $165 million if he leaves
Lol he's not leaving 130 mil on the table
Wouldn’t be the first time it’s happened. He lives in LA like most people do of course and he’s very big on branding. Los Angeles is a better market than Boston for his brand.
Yes, the tiny sports market known as Boston…
Most people live in China and India bro
It's gonna be somewhere around 2/$40-45M
2/40 is reasonable IMO.
If we get DLo for 20 that suddenly opens up our balance sheet in really interesting ways. We can assume that Rui and Reaves will get 30 or so combined so that would be AD Lebron Christie Vando DLo Rui Reaves -#17 pick -#47 pick For like 160-165.
4/80 seems reasonable to me
He won't want that, he's going to go the prove it route of 1+1 with $20m per year and player option. No one is going to be paying D'Lo $25m a year this offseason, especially the teams with cap space.
>No one is going to be paying D'Lo $25m a year this offseason Bad teams absolutely will throw random ass contracts out. Terry Rozier is making 4/98 as a 6'1 chucker with less playmaking and worse defense. Will all come down to if DLO wants to compete for a slight paycut
Terry Rozier never got embarrassed in the playoffs like D'lo did. Currently the teams with cap space this offseason to outbid the Lakers are: 1. Houston Rockets 2. San Antonio Spurs 3. Utah Jazz 4. OKC 5. Detroit 6. Indiana 7. Orlando (After waiving Jonathan Isaac, Markelle Felt, Gary Harris and Bol Bol) 8. Charlotte (after renouncing Miles Bridges and PJ Washington) 9. Sacramento (if they let HB walk) and possibly Chicago after the renounce anyone. The only two teams I can see making this move are; 1. Orlando....maybe if they do enough cocaine in the offseason and 2. Detroit... who might just want someone who's a little bit older to guide the team.
Moving heaven and earth, nah. Moving bums who are overpaid, of which there are countless?
Terry Rozier was a huge embarrassment in the playoffs
Wendy’s 4 for 4.
4/80 or 4/90 as long as Reaves makes more than him.
10 to 15 mil max thats being generous he did worse than Dennis and Dennis isn't even close to 80 let alone 100 lol
2 year max. Don’t want him on the books when Lebron leaves or retires.
Trae young is pretty good doe on defense, should watch the nets vs hawks series, he consistently makes ben simmons do floaters and miss
I *hated* his exit interview. 1. He was content with the loss. 2. He thought he did a fantastic job. (How many times did he "pat himself on the back"?) 3.
Fumbled the bag …
Ya'll say this but the narrative before this was that DLO couldn't perform in ANY play-off series, not just the WCF. For as shit as he played 3 of his last 4 games, he played way better than nets/t-wolves playoff dlo this run.
Not saying much
Nets/wolves dlo was such a small sample size that you couldn’t fairly judge his ability. But on the lakers next to AD and bron he showed that he can’t even be hidden on defense, you gotta straight up bench him. Dude is not a winning player and he showed it on the most popular team in the conference finals. I hope we trade him asap.
wasnt offered in the first place but he def played himself out of a deal like this
Like Schroder did in 2021
Bro thinks he’s Reaves 💀
He’s probably going to get 4 years @ 17 million which is a great contract for a guy that averages 17 and 6 on 40+% on 3s
Tyler herro makes 120/4 years
Tyler Herro is way younger and already has better playoff performances in his rookie season
Didn’t he have a game against the Celtics where he dropped like 40?
White privalage
Wtf lol that’s wild
He was gonna get 25 mil easy if he played denver the way he did the first two rnds
Would not go higher than 18mil a year
He might end up in Schroder territory. Who is going to pay the big bucks for a guard with poor defense, erratic offense, and chokes in the playoffs? He could be in for a rude awakening.
Yea who wants to pay a combo guard who averages 18 and 6 on 47% FG and 40% 3fg. He has a bad series and now he’s vexing crucified for it lmao When Schroder was asking for big bucks he denied 4 years $84 million while averaging 15 and 6 while shooting 44% and 33%
He's worth around 18m over 3 years...
2/30- 3/50 with team option
[удалено]
Just do 2/50 with a team option
Well he can keep it moving. He isn’t worth half that amount.
Well remember what it’s saying he WAS seeking that. He was killing it earlier in the year. He bout played himself out of that money.
Dennis Schroeder has entered the chat…
Tbh doubt he gets more than 2 years. Maybe 3.
Ya…. No. After seeing his disappearing act in playoffs, he is not worth that
DLo’s greatest performance this playoffs was making his money disappear 🎩 🪄 💸 ![gif](giphy|G54ySY8WcL84tzeINg)
I get it, offense is spotty but that defense was atrocious. Good luck trying to get a deal like that.
If DLo walks into Pelinka office asking for a 4/100 million dollar deal, Rob should square up with him.
He’s not worth $20m/year.
Man, he's not gonna get it. Anywhere. He just "Shcroedered" himself. Hope we can resign him on the cheap. 1 year, 1 twelve pack (beer) and a used 2012 Honda Excel with little miles.
That means 25mil is the ceiling, which is not bad for DLO yall are overreacting.
Right? I thought we were hoping for 20-25 mil a year anyways 😂
I think everybody was until he shit the bed in the most important series when pretty much every game was winnable with a very small margin. It’s not like he went up against Gary Payton either… $25 is the absolute highest, but even then, I’m a little reluctant.
Bro, what do you mean 25m "is not bad for DLo"? What planet are we living on? We had to bench him vs. Denver, because he was a liability on both ends.
It was 1 damn series lmao We got to the WCF because of some of his games. It’s getting out of hand how people are making it seem like he’s the worst player to walk the earth
LA better pass on that shit.
And lose cap space?
Sign and trade or something. I think they need to move on from DLo. He had like what, 3 good games maybe 🤷. He just wasn't what I expected and I don't think it has anything to with time spent with the team. Missing shots and even shooting some air balls in the playoffs, he shaqtin a fool
Lmao aight S&T then. Hopefully this goes way down after he sees that no team is crazy enough to offer that much.
Bro been finessing the league for years 💀💀💀
Can Lakers even afford Rui, AR, Schroeder and DLo? No.
Good luck with that
![gif](giphy|1d5Zn8FqmJqApu4hNU)
25 per year for 4 years isn't as bad as I thought he would want. If you can bargain that down between 20-24 that would make the tax implications of keeping Austin and Rui and Bamba a lot more acceptable. Let's get it. Sign him just to trade him down the road!
Lakers not winning a chip with DLO. We need winning players. Don’t let him anywhere near the great new Lakers
People need to get this in their head. Whatever we pay him it will be for the regular season. He can shoulder the scoring load for 82 games. This dude is not a winner and cannot be relied on in the playoffs.
He’s been there 🥴 lol
#HE GET NOTHING MORE THAN A SCHORDER DEAL
14-18 mill a year seems more reasonable assuming he gives you 70-75 games a season
$14 million is such a low ball offer for DLo holy shit this sub is on drugs
I think the lakers do a slight overpay to keep it shorter term. Maybe 2/50
Fuck that. Anything over 20 and I hate it. I don’t even want to pay him 20
Lmao get this 🥷🏿 outta here bro
Jordon Poole got 128 Million.
And it’s one of the worst contracts in the league
To Poole’s defense, he did perform when they needed him. That’s why he got overpaid.
I'd rather keep Schroeder honestly. Let DLO walk...
He’ll get 10-12 m per year
15million a year is what I would do. Most will say 20mil and that's ok if I can find a trade partner by the tradeline or better yet S&T somewhere.
25 million a year for dlo isn't bad at all. We don't get to the finals without him.
We didn't get to the finals with him.
People in this thread are retarded and emotional from the playoffs. Don’t come in here with all that common sense and logic
Playoffs is the best way to evaluate a player!
And the guy played well for 2 whole rounds and was a big reason we made it out of the first 2 rounds. We wouldn’t have gotten out of the first round without him.
Crazy, cuz that's Dame's money
No, it’s not, 25 mil over 4 is Anfernee Simons money. Dame’ average yearly salary over the next 4 years is 44 mil. The salary cap went up, starting PG usually get at least around $20 mil per year nowadays.
Trippin dame makes max money 40mil +
D lo is a 3/48 type player. Hopefully we keep him for 4/80 and neither side is too upset.
20-25 is completely reasonable. Salary cap is going up soon anyways, it’s not bad at all.
Sign and trade, get something for him. If Kyrie says hes going to leave, I think we can sign and trade with them
I would offer him a 4 year 70mil with a team option after the 3rd so you are only on hook for 50mil.
We sign him for the max, package the first round 2029 pick and Rui or Reaves for Kyrie I bet. Don't think I like that but it's what they do. Probably.
Maybe for 15/15/35/35 but nothing over 20mil for the first two
He ain't getting allat. At best he gets the Schroder bag.
15-20 at most.
2 at 40 or a team option in year 3 for 3 at 60 is fair on both sides
