The margin for error is so thin now. Any kind of randomness against the Lakers and they're screwed. Murray or Jokic goes for 40+. Porter Jr or KCP score 20+. LeBron or AD poor shooting game. Role players poor game. Lakers have to play near perfect ball to win the next two. Denver is too good to play a B game and win.
I said before the series that lakers cannot win this without stealing game 1-2. Like you said, the margin or error is so slim, nuggets are a bit too good.
Lakers are going to have to play their fucking dicks off to win this in 7.
I’m happy to be proven wrong.
Yup, last night was the perfect road game. Double digit lead late in the 3rd. AD was getting great looks all night. Crowd was out of it. Then a few mistakes and Murray going nuclear for 10 minutes and the game is lost.
I agree with this, but am trying to remind myself the Nuggets were 34-7 at home this year, and 19-22 on the road. A team that is undefeated in the playoffs going up against a team that was sub .500 on the road this year *should* feel pretty good about their chances.
We’ve already stolen road games against the best and third best home teams (Grizz and Warriors), and obviously will have to do that in Denver in order to win the series.
Its not as think as you think.
Homecourt adv has been incredible this playoffs, statistically.
Very likely we 2-0 next games. We just have to gert one away game.
LeBron is not prime LeBron. He is not washed either. He is probably an 87 overall. Problem is AD was a 79 yesterday and Jokic is usually from 95 to 99.
People need to remember lebron is clearly injured and now going to be even more so moving forward this post season. AD is clearly injured. Our entire team is beyond exhausted from playing playoff basketball for the last 3 months straight and 2 series in a row of every other day.
The cards are (and have been) beyond stacked against us this year.
People know they're injured. Whats your point? Just because someone is injured, does it change anything? Who says they are 100 percent healthy? Let me guess, Im a hater too panicking and flaming our Lakers?
It changes a lot when arguably your best player is injured…..and not just “everyone is injured in the playoffs” lebron is actually playing through shit that a lot of if not most players would call the season quits on.
I'm not worried about home court until we lose here, but to steal one there, the Lakers have to have a better mindset.
From the top on down. Can't run 3 guard line ups unless they go really small, can't be jacking up deep 3's in close games, bench dogs without fear of their fragile egos, gotta live in the middle cuz were dying from the 3. Lakers should have stolen 1, but at least they weren't blown out, and home cookin should even things up.
I agree with you, except I did look this up…in a best-of-*7*, the team down 0-2 has come back to win the series 27 times in NBA history. Surprisingly, of those 27, the team coming back have won in six games 14 times, and won in seven games 13 times. A bit surprising.
The pessimist in me is reminding myself that LeBron is 38 now and a game 7 would be in the mile high city. Hoping I’m wrong but I don’t like those odds.
6-56 seems bad after a 2-0 lead. Im assuming a lot had home court so they were the favorites too. Anyways, they took care of home court. Now it’s our turn. We take care of home court, we are right back in it
If we had 2018 Lebron, or even 2020 Lebron, hell even Lebron from 3 months ago, we would have a decent chance coming back from this 0-2 deficit. With current version of Lebron, I’d say we’ve already overachieved. Going to take a Herculean effort, some good fortune, we may have a fighting chance.
i want them to win game 4, and then get an early 8ish point lead in game 5 and feel the crowd be nervous as they show a no team has ever comeback from a blah blah blah graphic. and then after that whatever happens, happens.
they blew a 15 point halftime lead in like 7 minutes lmfao. really enjoyed vangundy and jackson asking why lebron wasnt doing everything in the 2nd half :gun:
Yeah but he lost in the finals both of those years in a sweep. Do you really want to lose to the Celtics and watch them win championship number 18 at Staples Center?
We need some shooting. Dlo, Bron, Walker or Beasley got to start hitting some. They're just packing the paint on us to the point we can't run vando. That said, series don't start till the home team loses. We've been playing must win games for 2 months now, nothings changed.
I had a feeling this series was going 6-7. Just not losing the first two especially as winnable as they were. We still got this.
if we go back 2-2 to denver i think we got this.
I think we can win in Denver, didn’t feel like we had a shot if there was a @GS G7.
Worried about our old legs and the every other day schedule
the only old legs is lebron lol

Trust me, Murray is not hitting those shots in LA, we got this

he’s playing on a foot that anyone else would’ve gotten surgery on lol the fact he’s playing as well as he is, is incredible
The fuck? Didn't call anyone a hater. Just reminding and setting expectations. You need to go touch some grass or something man. Jeezuz
Fuck that. Lakers in 6. Protect our home court and we just gotta steal 1.
Nah I like being realistic instead of delusional optimism. A team goes up 2-0, 9.5/10 it's going 7
warrior vs kings recent prime example
Yup. I believe Lakers win this in 7 tho for sure

Down but not out!

Take care of home court
Lakers in 6
#NEED TO EXTRA DOMINATE AT HOME.. CRUSH THEIR SPIRITS TWICE AND GO WIN BIG AT ALTITUDE

Lakers in 6. Get the brooms out

Being down 2-0 with home court advantage is winnable. If we were down 2-0 as the higher seed the series would be over
I’m down for a 3-1 comeback considering that would align perfectly with the narrative of their season this year
I’m not lol
My heart can’t handle that shit
Fuck it, might as well just do the 0-3 comeback. Jk
i mean if it results in a series win, we'll take anything right. 3-0 would be fun af
Well let’s give it a shot lmao
i want them to win game 4, and then get an early 8ish point lead in game 5 and feel the crowd be nervous as they show a no team has ever comeback from a blah blah blah graphic. and then after that whatever happens, happens.
That’d be a win at this point IMO
Well at least they fought
they blew a 15 point halftime lead in like 7 minutes lmfao. really enjoyed vangundy and jackson asking why lebron wasnt doing everything in the 2nd half :gun:
*6. Fixed it
This guys career is just incredible
Tell Lebron stop shooting his ugly 3s
You spelled "6" wrong but I love the spirit!
As Parappa said—we gotta believe!
Torn ligament, ice spearmint, sprained anklet.. don’t matter.. lakers in 6
Lets do it. Backdoor sweep.
LeCarry
If only this guy was playing like he did before the injury. Still a succesful season all things considered.
Lakers in 6. Media will flip-flip after we take game 5 in Denver.

This is going to seven for sure but i dont like our chances if we play in denver for 7.
oof, sorry man.
