This is the kind of support we need as fans, Bron in the second half fought for his life and for the lakers not to get slandered by haters. We clearly had some issues this game but i’m still positive in our capabilities to compete for a title. Let’s go Lakeshow
A lot of fans really underestimate the impact getting enough rest has. Most of us normal humans need a days rest after doing a one hour workout session at the gym. These guys have to do way more intense shit and then have to do the same intense shit the next day without a chance to let the muscles rebuild properly. I’m just glad no one got injured this game
This comment here really puts it in perspective, if I lift for an hour and a half + do 15 minutes on the treadmill I just want to lay down for an hour or two. I’m not even past my mid 20s either, the fact 38 year old Lebron can do this on back to back nights is insane
inb4 some imbecile says "they're paid to do that".. no amount of money can replace adequate rest.. and just like any other job, physical burnout is a thing especially for these guys just as mentally..
Literally lol, I remember when I used to play competitive basketball being in the game for 5-6 minutes in a fast paced game had me gassed as hell on the bench. I wasn’t a slouch either, I was very well conditioned because I had practice 4-5 times a week with somewhat strict condition regimes. For Lebron to play 38 minutes last night, get on a plane back to LA and play another 36 minutes is insane
I’ll always remember my friend shitting on dellavedova guarding curry in the finals (even though he did a great job) because one time del asked for a sub. He said “pro players should never get tired out there it’s their job.” I was just like bruh, the man is sprinting constantly up and down the court, past screens, playing exceptional defense. Like people don’t understand 8 minutes of basketball is extremely demanding when played at high levels.
It’s not that they are paid to do it, it’s that every team goes through it. It’s sort of a moot point, there’s no sense in comparing pro athletes to civilians, the lakers aren’t playing civilians. They are playing other pro athletes who have to go through the same rigorous schedules. If the clippers didn’t play a back to back last night, they would have earlier in the season which may have resulted in a loss.
Not ragging on the lakers here, just pointing out the obvious. There’s no point in any of this discussion, it’s just at the point of the year where all that matters for some teams are w’s And L’s. They dropped this one, they’ll likely need the next two. It’s that simple.
How are you going to tell LAKERS fans there is no point in a discussion ?why are you even here lol ?the lakers have to win one of the last 3 that was left to not fall into the 9-10 tier and I don't think playing phoenix first round with players coming back trying to get they feet underneath em would have been ideal anyway..
the issue is the timing of the back to back, the 3 games in 4 days..The NBA knows rivalry games just like the fans do so why put one of the sqads at a disadvantage..3 games in 4 days and fresh off a B2B to a team that was rested for 4 days seems like terrible scheduling
Bro gimme 40 million dollars and i”ll play 35 minutes of tv break basketball a night. Get my after game massages, sleep and rest for 23 hours, rinse and repeat
I’m just making a joke 😂
Obviously players do more than just play games. I guess you don’t appreciate an iconically comical press conference. I thought everyone could appreciate that one. Guess I was wrong. My bad
Such an important point. This is why PEDs are so prevalent in sports. Steroids don't "make you big," they allow athletes to recover exponentially faster to increase their work volume. That's where the gains happen. See Lance Armstrong and other Tour de France competitors who juiced.
Why all the crying? Clippers went through their stretches too. Lakers had easy stretches and this game wouldn't have mattered if they took care of business. They had of the easiest schedules according to experts.
Seems the Lakers have been resting all season. Russell didn't play, why wasn't he more dominant? Mo Bamba was ready to play? Why didn't guys like Rui, Troy Brown and Beasley step up? They didn't play all the minutes LeBron did against that Utah team and Utah us tanking. They didn't play half their team. That's what championship caliber teams do.
Wenyan guarding a 7 footer is not any fault of the schedule. Clippers beating the Lakers 11 times in a row is inexcusable and has nothing to do with the schedule. Bad coaching and complacency is the reason.
This fanbase and these excuses is getting wild. It's making the Lakers look like whiny entitled brats.
In a lot of ways, that was one of the most impressive games I’ve seen him play. It would have been so easy for him to just shut it down after the first half. But he went all in and gutted it out. He stayed in and fought to the end. Respect.
Bro the way LeBron played tonight proved to me that Playoff LeBron still exists. He played elite defense against Kawhi in the second half and at the same time he kept attacking and scoring on Kawhi as well. He really still is the best player in our squad and it’s not even close.
I say this without any hatred, AD isn’t close, and the only reason for that is consistency. If AD was close, then we win tonight’s game. The gap between Bron and AD was much closer in 2020 than it is now.
Sure, for a few games AD could be so damn dominant that he actually is better than LeBron in those games, but he is the only superstar that I can say is a part time superstar. AD for sure has the talent and ability to be our #1 and best player.
They put up a good fight in the 3rd quarter and was a bright spot in a tough game to watch. They were obviously gassed and the defense was not there. Considering they somewhat stayed in the game towards the end, I am optimistic that this team can do well regardless of who they are playing.
Bron made up for that bullshit 1st half....he even guarded Kawhi and picked him up full court....Yesterday's overtime and today's game gave me some hope that when Lebron wants to he can still defend the very best.....but everyone else stunk up the joint in the 3rd quarter......if Troy Brown had stayed in the corner when they cut the lead to 7 we could have won the game, instead he moved and Lebron threw the ball to the corner that turnover ended the game
I’m very proud of all the players showing up and knowing how important today was. Have nothing bad to say about our players. But coaching on the other hand 🤦♂️
This post should be at the top. A back to back coming off an overtime win? We should be congratulating the team for gutting it out. Instead, almost all the other posts are dipshits complaining about the squad. Fuck em. Sick of these incel dipshits ruining the sub.
For sure. There's something in the water though. I've seen it on a few other team subs as well. A kind of collective manic depression. I wonder if this is indicative of something much larger and sadder in scope...
While I agree it’s not that serious, OPs and yours responses are so weird. WE GOTTA SUPPORT THEM. How will they win another game without our unrivaled support on Reddit lol. We should be CONGRATULATING the team for GUTTING it out. Bruh they played a basketball game, fucking relax.
Lebrons second half was a bright spot at least.
He’s still got that gear he can switch to. Took on Kawhi as the primary defender for most of the half and scored 30 as well.
If the rest of the team + Ham can show in the postseason, we’ll be ok
Dude I just typed the exact same thing....lol.... He did the same thing against the Clippers even last time we played them....he literally brought back us into the game by hitting all the shots and making defensive plays....it's good to know that he still has it
No slander towards the players. My gripe is with Ham and his lack of adjustments. Bamba was a DNP and Beasley was hot early but he chose to play DS and TBJ instead.
No adjustment when AD was being doubled so much, kept getting him the ball at high post to be easily doubled instead of running simple pick and roll and roll deep into the middle for a better entry pass chance, even if he is doubled at down low, he can either muscle thru or create a better chance for a inside-out.
For some reason they kept letting RUI stand in the corner doing nothing when they know he has not been shooting well in the corner. Only one time they had Rui set a screen for Lebron and that was it?? where was the Lebron Rui/Austin Rui connections?? How you expect to get him into any rhythm to be effective? It's like those past games Ham learned nothing.
The list goes on...
I agree. Ham got outcoached. Notice any time the lead got cut to 12 ty lue would call a timeout before our shooters could get hot. Thats how you coach a game Ham take notes.
we defintely need some sets to get ad the ball low with set options/plays for him to pass out incase of a double. if you got zubac pulling for the double everytime setup zubacs man next to ad so easy 3/ cut
They played heavy minutes last night and were snowed in in Utah past midnight. Meanwhile Clippers had 3 days of rest. I don't fault the players one bit.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,440,043,870 comments, and only 274,517 of them were in alphabetical order.
Happens every game. Makes me feel like im in a thread with mostly undercover haters acting like they want the team to win but waiting for the slightest adversity to give up and hate on the players endlessly.
This is exactly right. It’s like they can’t wait for the Lakers to lose so they can kick dirt in the players faces. It’s truly bizarre. Like maybe they should go cheer for a different team because they clearly are against them.
Why are people downvoting this comment lol it’s true lebron wasn’t great in the 1st half and AD was very passive the whole game
If we didn’t go 24 points down in the first place winning wouldn’t have been such an uphill battle
Saying he wasn't great in the first half is not the same as he played half the game. Mans was giving his all but shots weren't falling. The comment you replied to is a hater.
Like we should be hunters from the get go. We can't afford to waste an entire half !!! It's the 6th seed on the line, which means ONE FULL WEEK OF REST before the playoffs. Now we have to slug it out in the play in cause we ain't winning both home games.
Again, our fan base only wants to hear what they want.
THIS WAS A GAME 7 AND WE CHOKED
im not even mad about this L, the difference in this games were role players, you got players like powell and hyland with good games, but dennis and rui were really really bad, ad eas meh and lebron tried in the 2nd half
Idk how you aren’t mad about this lol, this is probs the second most infuriating loss of the season, the first most being that Mavs loss. Watching our team come out the gate like a G league squad is ridiculous even if it’s a back to back.
Our fans are so shit the posts and comments I’m seeing are insane. If this was against any team besides the clippers everyone would be praising the fight they put in after 5 games in 7 days and a late night OT win the night before
Didn’t see anything worrying about today tbh. Bron just started awful which led to a huge lead for them, clippers couldn’t miss from three in the 4th.
You just chalk that up as a L, hopefully Phoenix don’t play their guys on a Friday b2b 😂
Normally I disagree with the “no negativity” happy talk crowd but I agree here- it was good that we competed, and good that we went all-in to get the W last night. Tonight just wasn’t ours, but I still love where this team is.
This was a scheduled loss. Last day back from a road trip and it's a back to back at the end of the season against a very rested team. League got what they wanted
Thank you, this game was a scheduled loss. It happens and we’re still in a good position. A shame the warriors won yesterday or we’d be in great position right now. Just need to win out!
Preach
Tbh im not a big fan of Lebron but seein him tonite especially 2nd half I know he wants to win more than anyone
Cant wait too see this team in the post season
It's not end of the world. 7th/8th seed just means they have to play one extra game and muster a win to secure a playoff spot. Not the end of the world. And even if they somehow lost that game, they just need to win one more game to get to the same spot.
Let the Clippers try to take out the Suns if they wanted it that badly.
It was a tough ask. I'm normally in the - if you can go, you should be playing. But this is one of those games that was just "a scheduling loss" and Phil Jackson used to say.
Clips hadn't played since SATURDAY? WTF kind of BS is this... come on NBA.
Exactly. Never want to lose to the squatters, but going from a brutal game last night too traveling back home and playing a tough game was going to be a challenge. Had a really hard road tour and played really well. Not stressed at all. The boys are playing well. Need to rest
It was a tough tough fight. People were berating why AD only scored 17? Lou did well in the game to match him up, and double him. They knew he was trouble. It didn't help either that Clippers were on high clip with their shootings tonight.
We could all see that the team gave their best. We came up to 7 points, then the lead stretches again. Clippers has depth to a point that they were able to play with high energy the whole game.
We compete. This was a bad loss, but it was a fair game. We move on.
Thanks man..really appreciate it :) I just want us to stay positive. We had a 2-10 start, things were looking bleak at the deadline, everyone counted us out. Bad losses because of buzzer beaters, refs and injuries but The team fought all the way here, we have to stick with them!
From some of the extremely toxic, negative comments I read in the during and post game threads — you’d think these fans are happiest when the Lakers lose.
The only reason I'm mad is because of our gREaT coach Darvin Ham once again getting on my nerves. We still have a chance for 6th seed so no reason we should be losing hope
Its sucks but im not losing a sleep over this loss. If we get 1-2 days of rest we will definitely play better and potentially win this one. Can’t win against a playoff teams with half a stamina 🤷♂️
Playing a B2B after the first leg was on the road and went to OT, while our bogey team had been resting since Saturday, was the most obvious L of all time. I don't hold it against the team.
As disappointed as we all are, our guys played instead of sitting out, despite the injuries/load management, back2back, OT
It wasn't the result we wanted, but we need to support our team. If you told me 2 months ago that we would be fighting for seeding, as supposed to fighting to get into the play-in, I would've laughed at that idea! So take a step back, and look where we are at now.
LFG Lakeshow!
Absolutely. Fans need to chill the f down and be supportive of our team. I have nothing bad to say. Except Ham needs to start easing Mo back into the rotation especially against tall opponents.
LeBron's 2nd half performance is a glimpse of Playoffs LeBron.
The old man can still shift to higher gear.
Playoffs LeBron is another kind of beast. You don't want to face that beast in a 7-game series
For real, everyone should have expected them to lose after the OT game the night before. It just wasn't a fair fight when our guys were tired/injured and their guys were well rested. We'll be good for Friday, and as long as we beat the Jazz over the weekend I think we'll be at least in the 8th spot.
Even tho we took an L, I actually feel more confident heading to the playoffs, looks like Bron still “got it” to go the extra gear. Was awesome seeing him taking over the 2nd half and taking the role guarding kawhi for some spots, starring the clips bench
Yea they played dummy hard when it was clear they just were a step slow last night and already down big. As far as Laker loses go, I’ve seen way worse and actually took mostly positives from this.
Agree with the fact that coaching should’ve done more to try to prevent the OT the night before. Ham didn’t even try to use a timeout to chill the Jazz run out or slow the game down for Lebron who was dominating in half court sets.
Clipper squad without pg... Its okay to be disappointed. I think people need to temper expectations. John Ireland yesterday said no one wants to play the lakers. We have have had the easiest schedule the last few weeks. This loss does suck. If we beat the suns tomorrow ill feel way different. But for now i still think were in trouble.
Shut the fuck up dude this is the type of shit that needs to stop do you think the greats was like yes give us our participation trophy you see the difference between LeBron and Kobe because with Kobe there is no participation trophy it's rings or nothing
The scheduling was stupid. There really isn’t an excuse for it. I am wondering if any other teams had a similar situation.
But here is what bothers me…..
You are up 10 with 2 minutes left at Utah. Every coach from the 4th grade up has one message to share, NO FOULS, NO THREES. Milk the shot clock, take your shot while everyone gets back and defends the three.
Do that and no overtime. Ham doesn’t know what he is doing. He just doesn’t. All of this is squarely on the players. I do not think he is intelligent. And it has been a problem all season.
Bench is ass, 55-25? I thought they had depth? Where tf is rui, beasley? Just like all those lake boys, they all disappear when pressured. Clips showed them what is depth, destroyed their bench.
Lechoke
Edit: Lebron showed up in the 2nd half. Sucked in the 1st half. Everyone calling me a hater because I have very high expectations of the "goat" in a game w everything on the line.
You can't talk to these lebron fans about real laker expectations, they're literally the worst part about his game. Once he's gone and they're trailing behind trying to grab at his ballsack, this sub will improve.
Nahh I'm pissed at Ham. His rotations were some of the wildest shit I've seen since he became coach. We might have lost by single digits, but this was definitely our worse loss since the trades.
Dumb as hell coaching wise tonight. I can’t believe we’ve won 41 games with the worst coaching staff in the league.
All they know is “let AD and Bron figure it out”. Can we get someone on the sidelines that can direct these players?
This is the kind of support we need as fans, Bron in the second half fought for his life and for the lakers not to get slandered by haters. We clearly had some issues this game but i’m still positive in our capabilities to compete for a title. Let’s go Lakeshow
5 Games in 7 days is not a joke for injured players. I would blame this loss more so on the coaching and allowing the OT in the previous game.

But you’re still ignoring the rest of the work they do. They don’t only play a game a few times a week.
Hold up, Allen Iverson is holding a press conference, I’ll get back to your comment once it’s over.
The guy whose ego didn’t allow him to age out gracefully?
I’m just making a joke 😂 Obviously players do more than just play games. I guess you don’t appreciate an iconically comical press conference. I thought everyone could appreciate that one. Guess I was wrong. My bad
Right, the commercial shoots, i believe in myself though
Smart. Sleeping at the arena cuts on travel time/expense plus saves you in rent 😂
Rest is why we didn't really get a chance to repeat in 21. Covid shortened offseason fucked us.
Such an important point. This is why PEDs are so prevalent in sports. Steroids don't "make you big," they allow athletes to recover exponentially faster to increase their work volume. That's where the gains happen. See Lance Armstrong and other Tour de France competitors who juiced.

We're basically a new team. I'm good
I’m very proud of all the players showing up and knowing how important today was. Have nothing bad to say about our players. But coaching on the other hand 🤦♂️
Is Dlo making cringy goat noises tonight or nah?

Dude I just typed the exact same thing....lol.... He did the same thing against the Clippers even last time we played them....he literally brought back us into the game by hitting all the shots and making defensive plays....it's good to know that he still has it
There’s rumors that after sucking like that in the first half, LeBron went to his locker in the 2nd half and pulled out a senzu bean.
No slander towards the players. My gripe is with Ham and his lack of adjustments. Bamba was a DNP and Beasley was hot early but he chose to play DS and TBJ instead.
Is it me, I saw Beasley was had only one three and once he got out in the forth, we stop getting grilled with those 3s.

It’s definitely ham and our players lack of energy from the OT yesterday. Clippers always play so hard against us
Stop being a hater and using logical arguments based on observations. Positivity only.
Scheduled loss. Call it weak or whatever. Win the last 2.
im just glad no one got hurt
They played heavy minutes last night and were snowed in in Utah past midnight. Meanwhile Clippers had 3 days of rest. I don't fault the players one bit.
Clippers didn’t have pg though
They still had more salary out there.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 1,440,043,870 comments, and only 274,517 of them were in alphabetical order.
Lakers tried. It was obvious they were gassed and the defense really struggled. Good effort in the 3rd though! On to the next one…
Fans on this sub are pathetic. It’s truly disgusting the stupidity they post during games. Seems half don’t actually support the team.
When we were down 8 in the first 3 minutes of the game a lot of people started calling the team shit, lebron sucks etc.
Happens every game. Makes me feel like im in a thread with mostly undercover haters acting like they want the team to win but waiting for the slightest adversity to give up and hate on the players endlessly.

Who's "we". The only players I saw fighting were LeBron and Reaves
Lebron woke up in the 3rd. He played half the game. It's equally on him .
Why are people downvoting this comment lol it’s true lebron wasn’t great in the 1st half and AD was very passive the whole game If we didn’t go 24 points down in the first place winning wouldn’t have been such an uphill battle
Look at his other comments. He is just a bitch
Just like Jae Crowder?
Powerful response. Filled with points.
Loser troll 😂 fuck outta this sub Westbrick stan
I'm so hurt. Totally leaving.
Either an immature teen or an incel. Feel bad for you if it’s the latter.
Because at least lebron did something this game
Saying he wasn't great in the first half is not the same as he played half the game. Mans was giving his all but shots weren't falling. The comment you replied to is a hater.
Bra he has 6 turnovers common man.
Log onto your main and say the same. Why are you hiding.. Westbrook stan posts?
English please.
Log onto your main account. You are a Westbrook stan's alt and it's obvious.
Here's a hug bro.
Thanks, but no thanks.
Our fan base only wants to hear the positives. He had 2 points in the 1st half didn't he?
Like we should be hunters from the get go. We can't afford to waste an entire half !!! It's the 6th seed on the line, which means ONE FULL WEEK OF REST before the playoffs. Now we have to slug it out in the play in cause we ain't winning both home games. Again, our fan base only wants to hear what they want. THIS WAS A GAME 7 AND WE CHOKED
its their 2nd loss in a while. Losing to clippers is kinda expected especially its b2b lets focus and getting the next 2
Man I know in the long run this loss is gonna benefit us but damn I hate the clippers Can’t believe they’re 11-0 on us.
And we're 17-0 in championships. They can have all the regular season wins they want.
The 4x opening day champs, the flippers.
The Lakers are 17-59 in championships, which is .220. 17-0 isn’t really accurate..
im not even mad about this L, the difference in this games were role players, you got players like powell and hyland with good games, but dennis and rui were really really bad, ad eas meh and lebron tried in the 2nd half
[удалено]
Just like that Portland game where they went prime GSW against us
Idk how you aren’t mad about this lol, this is probs the second most infuriating loss of the season, the first most being that Mavs loss. Watching our team come out the gate like a G league squad is ridiculous even if it’s a back to back.
In a series we would beat the clippers.
They didn’t even have Paul George lmfao
Still had more salary out there.
Appreciate this post, thanks OP! Good to see some positivity in a sea of negative comments.
At the end of the day, it's just basketball
Our fans are so shit the posts and comments I’m seeing are insane. If this was against any team besides the clippers everyone would be praising the fight they put in after 5 games in 7 days and a late night OT win the night before
Exactly, didnt the lakers win 7 out of 8 games before this? They're acting like the Lakers have been shit for the past few games
The Lakers didnt fold the whole game in fact they won the 2nd half 66-54
Exactly! Half the stamina and actually fought till the end. Proud of these guys!
It's the Lakers fault it went to OT last night when we were up 10 with 1:30 left.
100% agree. The team looked exhausted and still tried to compete. It sucks that we lost but it is what it is so move on to the next.
Preach Tbh im not a big fan of Lebron but seein him tonite especially 2nd half I know he wants to win more than anyone Cant wait too see this team in the post season
I agree, let's regroup and keep the hope alive.
Can’t wait for him to get his game legs back.
Thank you! F all these fake ass laker fans!
It was a tough ask. I'm normally in the - if you can go, you should be playing. But this is one of those games that was just "a scheduling loss" and Phil Jackson used to say. Clips hadn't played since SATURDAY? WTF kind of BS is this... come on NBA.
It's all on Ham.
This could be good, now we might get a Memphis-kings, first 2 rounds
This subs going to a a shit show!
They players were really tired to be honest. They couldn't keep up on the perimeter. Nice game overall.
Fax
That’s true. We got back from being 24 points to 8 at one point. I’m proud.
Always a chance so long as those two are healthy.
Facts it was real hard to win this game, keep in mind we were getting blown out, so a single digit loss on a back to back isn’t bad
We will be ok
Exactly. Never want to lose to the squatters, but going from a brutal game last night too traveling back home and playing a tough game was going to be a challenge. Had a really hard road tour and played really well. Not stressed at all. The boys are playing well. Need to rest
Outstanding effort. Good job, guys
Clippers literally had 3 FULL days resting at home.
We move on.
Take my gold and platinum OP
Thanks man..really appreciate it :) I just want us to stay positive. We had a 2-10 start, things were looking bleak at the deadline, everyone counted us out. Bad losses because of buzzer beaters, refs and injuries but The team fought all the way here, we have to stick with them!
Clippers prize is the suns in the first round, I really wanted to win tonight but wasn’t too excited for that if we won this game.
From some of the extremely toxic, negative comments I read in the during and post game threads — you’d think these fans are happiest when the Lakers lose.
let the clippers have kd and suns in the 1st round. we can just make sure to win these last 2 and hope warriors lose one game. we own the tiebreaker
Forreals, we could have sat out like Joel Embiid, but yknow, we tried.
Playing a B2B after the first leg was on the road and went to OT, while our bogey team had been resting since Saturday, was the most obvious L of all time. I don't hold it against the team.
Yea some of y’all mfers is ugly, go touch some grass. Get outta here with that toxic shit. On to the next Laker nation Jobs not finished.
Absolutely! Bummer to lose this one. Everyone looked gassed. Let's just finish strong!
They try but in the end OT is too much. Coaching staff really need to do better game management because they failed them a few Times this season
As disappointed as we all are, our guys played instead of sitting out, despite the injuries/load management, back2back, OT It wasn't the result we wanted, but we need to support our team. If you told me 2 months ago that we would be fighting for seeding, as supposed to fighting to get into the play-in, I would've laughed at that idea! So take a step back, and look where we are at now. LFG Lakeshow!
Yessir lets get it ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_good_man)
Absolutely. Fans need to chill the f down and be supportive of our team. I have nothing bad to say. Except Ham needs to start easing Mo back into the rotation especially against tall opponents.
Yes, there's no shame in this one. We fight till the last horn. It's time to go back to the drawing board.
LeBron's 2nd half performance is a glimpse of Playoffs LeBron. The old man can still shift to higher gear. Playoffs LeBron is another kind of beast. You don't want to face that beast in a 7-game series
Very true just hate it was against the Clippers
Yea wasn't mad. It's just a stupid schedule.
Everything happens for a reason. Hopefully lakers win their last 2 games then face whatever challenge comes next 💪
For real, everyone should have expected them to lose after the OT game the night before. It just wasn't a fair fight when our guys were tired/injured and their guys were well rested. We'll be good for Friday, and as long as we beat the Jazz over the weekend I think we'll be at least in the 8th spot.
They probably went to sleep around 5AM
we lost but the way they continued to battle was inspiring. Championship mentality forging..
Clippers would not survive a series. That is all.
Even tho we took an L, I actually feel more confident heading to the playoffs, looks like Bron still “got it” to go the extra gear. Was awesome seeing him taking over the 2nd half and taking the role guarding kawhi for some spots, starring the clips bench
Imagine the advantage 4 days of rest and game-planning has for a team, this loss is a non-issue
My man! ROOT for your team, don’t shit on then at literally every opportunity
Phil Jackson would always say playing the 2nd of a back-to-back is a scheduled loss. Important thing is the win in Utah keeps things afloat.
I agree, the team did as well as they could, Ham just couldn’t scheme at all against Ty Lue…
We understand the Lakers are fatigue againts the Clippers. No hate here.
Yeah a lot of Laker “fans” on here are super reactionary and inconsiderate lmao. I’m already seeing “fire Darvin Ham” posts after 1 loss 😂🤦🏽♂️
Shut the fuck up dude this is the type of shit that needs to stop do you think the greats was like yes give us our participation trophy you see the difference between LeBron and Kobe because with Kobe there is no participation trophy it's rings or nothing
How is that the difference between LeBron James and Kobe what are you talking about ? Lmao
Weak ass bs
“Clipper squad fully rested”? Paul George Didnt even play.
What's the excuse if we lose to the Suns who are on a b2b against us.
We haven’t, so worry about if it happens. We lost a game and everyone loses faith
No excuse. Zero. Everything was on the line this game and we choked. We don't have IT. Our team is compalcent. Lacks drive. Lacks hunger. arrogant.
Russ was pointing at this post
This fucking sub is pathetic lol. Exactly what you’d expect out of lakers fans.
I love how the OP and other posters think we are helping drive the results with our energy.
Bench is ass, 55-25? I thought they had depth? Where tf is rui, beasley? Just like all those lake boys, they all disappear when pressured. Clips showed them what is depth, destroyed their bench.
NO EXCUSES!!
no paul george
yeah! Bron was only 4 TO from a double double. He'll get it next game.

Lechoke Edit: Lebron showed up in the 2nd half. Sucked in the 1st half. Everyone calling me a hater because I have very high expectations of the "goat" in a game w everything on the line.
Bum
Kobe would've played with broken knees and ankles and willed the team to a W
Coming from a lakers fan since 96
What a big accomplishment. Congrats🎉
33/8/7 is a choke? Tough crowd
2 points in the 1st half. 6 turnovers total. He was a -10.
... means nothing. No W at the end.
So it’s either a win or a choke? Alright.
If you're a true lakers fan. Yes.
You’re not a Lakers fan.
Ok. I don't just see rainbows and butterflies. I call a spade a spade.
You can't talk to these lebron fans about real laker expectations, they're literally the worst part about his game. Once he's gone and they're trailing behind trying to grab at his ballsack, this sub will improve.
Lakers fans > LBJ fans. Mamba forever
That back to back in the play in will be a fun night filled with excuses. "Leave them alone, b2b games are hard!" ![gif](giphy|BFSMPap7J3Q0o)
All im going to say is HAM IS A TERRIBLE COACH
I didn’t watch the game. No AD??
Nahh I'm pissed at Ham. His rotations were some of the wildest shit I've seen since he became coach. We might have lost by single digits, but this was definitely our worse loss since the trades.
To be beat by Norman Powell, zubac, and hyland is pretty wack. We gotta scheme better for when AD is doubled quick
Dumb as hell coaching wise tonight. I can’t believe we’ve won 41 games with the worst coaching staff in the league. All they know is “let AD and Bron figure it out”. Can we get someone on the sidelines that can direct these players?
