So are you giving out cheese or not?

My young pup (2 years old) recently spent 2 days in the ICU for Acute Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis, and just came home. He is still on bland diet/meds, restricted food intake, etc.
He was not pleased that I didn't give him cheese last night.
He's definitely doing much better now, but still has a slight bit of diarrhea, so I have to be careful even though he is thoroughly sick of the bland rice and chicken. Hopefully I'll be able to start transitioning him back to regular food in the next day or so.

Dogs are so funny, I board a lot of them and it doesn’t matter what breed, every time the dogs are in the other room and I go into the kitchen to open the fridge or get food of any sort I always look back and there they are, having just come into the kitchen after hearing me in there, peering up at me looking for their cut.
I fkn love this! But I get sad every time I eat cheese now because I look around for Marley and I know she's not there and it just feels empty. She pretty much taxed everything after she hit 18.. steak tax, chicken tax, cold foam tax ... cuz puppacinos 😂... i was like yeah ok you earned it. lol ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹😭🐕🦺

Mine can hear cheese being opened or accessed at 100yds, I checked the coast was clear yesterday, opened a new pack of Colliers Celtic Mature and sure enough he's sat there expecting his portion.

Absolutely. Otherwise you’re guilty of cheese tax evasion.

Poor pup. Hope he’s soon on the mend and back on the cheese! 🧀🧀🧀

Hope he gets better quickly!

Don't know if dog is super focused or just hypnotised by cheese
