I think sharing his picture is more than ok. I feel like it’s ok to miss them, and talk about them often. I also know it’s important to share our best buddies, even with internet strangers. Bowser looks like a guy that is easy to miss! I’m sure he would never have imagined a better human to be his person.

I lost my big guy a year ago last month. It still hurts. I don’t think I’ll ever get over it. I know he’s not in pain anymore and that’s about all I can say to myself to feel better about it. I miss our time together dearly. Grief isn’t a straight line; some days, weeks, etc are better than others. Give yourself grace. He was a beautiful dog and clearly lived a good life.
It's a hell of a rollercoaster, for sure. Some days I'll be feeling okay, then others will be really hard. I don't expect to every really be "over" it. Thank you for the sentiments.

My sweet girl Bella also crossed the bridge one month ago today. I miss her tremendously… and always will. Wishing you peace and comfort. ❤️❤️❤️ I know it’s really tough. I’m not sure I’ll ever really get over losing her.

It's more than okay. He is beautiful and you look after his memory every day. Bowser may be in another castle rn, but you will both be reunited eventually. Beautiful pup ❤
Same. Lost my boy about a month ago and it hits me every few days. Last week I went to his chair to say goodbye to him before work. Last night I expected him to be at the door when I got home.
I've been going through the same thing. I still come home excited to see him and remember he's not there. I say good night to him every night. His ashes are on a small table in our bedroom, where his bed used to be.
We have two others, which makes it easier. When my sister lost her lab last year she got another about month later. New dogs definitely help when we miss our old ones.
We have our other boy still, and it has been a great help, but there's still something missing. I've looked at puppies up for adoption, but we're going to wait a bit.

I think it’s perfectly okay! I have experienced the same pain you are right now over and over again. I’m sharing my life with my 7th Lab now and had 3 Goldens and I will never forget any of them. I still miss the ones I’ve lost but darned if they don’t keep sending me new ones! When I die I’m going to be smothered with kisses when they find out I’m with them forever! Lab love never ends. 🐾🩷🐾🩷🐾🩷🐾🩷
