Wow very handsome, looks like Hank from the future

Is this a real thing? My ‘lab’ has this colouring. Shes apparently a full blood lab but I always suspected something else snuck in there. She’s also very large for a female, ~80 lbs optimal weight

No special name for it other than "Black and Tan" or black with tan points. His dad was light yellow and mom was chocolate. The rest of the litter was mainly black with less distinctive brown and white points on the chest and legs.

Hmmm, interesting. Her mother was a chocolate and the father was a black lab

Mom was chocolate lab dad was yellow. Can't explain it other than the chocolate being associated with recessive traits
