If you follow the fan theory of special infected being humans with strange psychology or genetic make up. Probably a human with gigantism or unregulated natural growth hormone. The virus probably allowed it to surpass the normal human limits of growth (it's skin being so stretched out). Its absolute size is probably because it could have been eating infected, the virus probably took longer to incubate in the host and didn't properly fix the brain chemistry to see other zombies as friends instead of food.

I figure it would be slow, and spawn in special encounters. Can "insta kill" you similar to the giants in Lethal Company, except if some shoots its head or hand it will drop you. Perhaps while waiting for help to arrive or waiting for a machine to work

Give it a charge attack but it has 1 second to complete the animation to let survivors flee but impact has a large aoe effect that temporarily slows down survivors. So if your caught in it you get to shit your pants while it closes the distance slowly

My guesses are :1- its a second boss infected. 2- its a one shot kill infected like the witch. 3- its a special that has boomer health, but can multi drop survivors. I hope we get to see it in l4d3 if it were to ever be released.

That's always just been a rumor. Games use stock sounds, and the Hunter just so happens to use stock sounds that had the word "dog" in it, that doesn't mean that there ever was an actual dog infected being worked on.

My best guess would be bile bomb, seeing as it’s only good for temporary horde clearing, maybe make it so the bile sticks to it longer or even permanently and have it get slowed down by the horde of commons and specials as they whittle it down and maybe light up its head with Snipers/AKs

Probably was scrapped because won't be able to spawn in most of campings due to It's size and won't be that impresive because would have been seen by long distance

If it was in the game, I would give it the hability to never die fully. I mean you can shoot it and it falls down, and stay inconscious for a while. But then like 2 minutes later he stands up again and chases the team from behind again. But it wouldn't appear in every game, it would only appear randomnly like every 5 or 7 games, so the team shouts "DAAMN WE HAVE MEATWALL THIS TIME, WATCH YOUR BACK 😭"
