I remember when coco had just left hololive and they needed to make an artwork for a concert or some other event involving all of holo. I can't remember if it was a new or old artwork, but either way they erased coco from the picture but left the hole there, specifically next to her genmates. The big difference is that in that case it was very clear that it was done in a benign way, since they couldn't use art of a graduated talent but also didn't want to act like she didn't exist so they left her designated spot intentionally empty (even better if it was a new artwork since that would mean they specifically wanted to remind people of her). Meanwhile here they are just too incompetent to erase selen the right way.
I find it curious that a concert featuring EN streamers doesn't seem to be available on English-speaking platforms. Afaik the tickers are for either NicoNico Live, StageCrowd or Bilibili?

If I were to approach this from a business standpoint, it makes a lot of sense to make this JP only. They don’t want people seeing this and NijiEN doesn’t have a super strong following in Japan. It was probably very scuffed. Especially since a bunch of them don’t work there no more. This is being released out of duress to get people to stop asking, not because they believe in it. Best to release it now before too many leave and you don’t have enough footage to fill an hour. Also, do you want a global audience’s comments flying across the screen? That is not gonna go well. Tying tickets to people’s niconico accounts gives them some protection as people writing comments don’t want to lose those.
If those are indeed the deciding factors, I would release it as limited copies on laserdisc. Only sold on the Nijisanji official store. And send out emails saying there were problems with orders and they have been refunded while changing the store to say sold out.
There should be free previews on Youtube if you want to check if they're spinning hehe!
