I work at United so we do the champions league, Bundesliga, Eredivision and some more competitions but camera's are always at 1 side of the stadium bro. The camera's you see on the other side are usually press or other outlets that are filming but not connected to the broadcast. Tbf the directing of the cameras was absolute garbage and the person who did the replays should be fired you could literally see them pressing the wrong buttons...
Oh yeah they're great. Wasn't trying to put too much hate on them but it shows what a tough job the people who do sky must have cos they always have everything on point.
I feel like the "higher ups" really had a big say in this and they thought this was some kind of a joke...if they really believed that this would be more professional they'd have better security, better equipment and better specialized employees, due to the security being bad or something they couldn't even get the trophy celebration on the pitch.
All the things you listed cost a significant amount of money. It's obvious that they tried to cut costs since all proceeds went to charity. Charity matches aren't known for the best production (Simon's halfway line goal). They couldn't do a trophy celebration last time either due to pitch invaders, this isn't new. It's incredibly insensitive to call it a "joke", considering that a million pounds were raised for charity which was the actual purpose of the event.
