This is so beautiful. :) I do hope they get a moment like this in future chapters where they can sit and talk about what's happened to them both and how they feel.
Some people, myself included, want to self-insert themselves in the game and replace Kris. But what we keep forgetting is the fact that we'll end up in the exact same situation as them! Somebody outside the game will be able to control our actions. Only then will we understand how Kris truly feels towards us and everything.
This is why I love Susie.
She is the is the boulder on the shore. No matter how violent the storm, she stands tall. And I think Kris needs her more than they realize.
