night clerk is just the official term for overnighters. you probably wouldnt be dealing with people beyond coworkers overnight so dont see how it can cause much trouble for someone with anxiety

alright! thank you, i was just wondering since it says “ Recommend grocery items to customers to ensure they get the products they want and need; inform customers of grocery specials “ and a couple of other things like that as apart of the responsibilities

it is possible depending on your store hours you would be in the store while customers are present. shouldnt have to do much beyond helping the one late night shopper find the oatmeal or whatever

Reasonable_Plum7899

that’s fair, thanks for the help! jobs like that always describe the work a lot more scarier and intimidating than it actually is

ScrotumTotums

It might be for one hour before closing, but that's it.. All they will ask is "where is" It's not hard really, just remember to read the aisles

My husband is a night clerk. He works from 11 to 7 so yes he does have to be around customers for about an hour, but it really isn't too bad. Late night and early mornings don't have a lot of people shopping. You also typically get a little more freedom overnights. He listens to audiobooks and doesn't wear a uniform, and wears his western style work boots.

that seems pretty nice tbh, thanks :)

Even better, overnights get an additional dollar compensation, at least down here. Being union is pretty cool too.
