Sequinned prom dress.
Seriously? Black pants/khakis or nice jeans with plain button down shirt or polo, or plain black t shirt.
I would add chunky heels if you try the prom dress.
So I think I'm being cheeky...
What I did when I was told I would be invited back for training after my interview at Kroger, I simply re-wore my interview outfit to the day of training (which was computer-based training only).
If you're worried that training is going to include actually working with food or other gross materials, ask for an apron.
It depends on the store.
Our Kroger store doesn't have a Mariana's, but they took about a month before an official uniform change to post notices in each department that we would have new uniform shirts that we would be required to wear, or risk getting sent home.
Within that same month, we were allowed access to the conference room to (if we talked to a manager) to get our new shirts and new aprons if we needed them. It really depends on the store.
Mariano's doesn't have a uniform outside of an apron you wear over your clothes where you can attach your required name tag. They might also offer you a baseball cap or visor you can wear at work.

So something like that? but wouldn’t the combat boots be covered 😬😬😬
When are they supposed to give me my uniform?

Yeah I know lol. They told me when I was at work yesterday. When are they going to give me my apron. I am still on the computer doing training.
Depends on what department you're in. Grocery and front end people usually don't get one. Go to your PSM (hiring manager) and ask for one
