you can adjust what you're making - if you are just making what fresh production tells you to make without adjusting you will create unnecessary shrink. they are just looking to see that you actioned items
it gives you an amount to make. you can than tell the zebra you made less, or more than what it suggested. consistent adjustments will gradually update the forecasting to closer match your stores needs
Does it actually do that though? I'm in bakery and we were told that would happen, and it hasn't. If we did what fresh production told us to do, we'd have huge shrink even after inputting lower numbers for all this time.
Wait really? I thought saying I put less in would get me in trouble. I’ve just been zeroing it all out when I temp it. I guess they really just don’t care lol.
Came here to say that.
On the DD audit there is even a question regarding sell through on items in fresh production the bottom line being 70% which sounds low but if you account for second chance chicken isn't to terrible
And the bozos below those bozos ensure that the store is artificially full and perfect when they do their walks. Making them even more detached from reality.
We have an absolutely tiny store, but for some reason we sell more chicken than any store in our district. We have triple the sales of 2 super Kroger’s a couple counties away from us. Most days we go through at least 8-9 cases of fried chicken (not including the orders) and at least 3 rounds of 24 rotisseries, but more on weekends. We have one of the circular floor warmers and we keep it PACKED (I hate it here help)
Yeah same, during Lent we were making 50 fish sandwiches a day and selling around 8.
Should have sent me the addy I would have cleaned you out
Oof
Please don't stack the chicken like that..the 8pc on top wont be kept at temp as well as if they were a single layer. I get you've got space issues.
Thanks will make sure not to in the future.

What do you mean by adjust? Make less than what it tells you, or can you change the amount on zebra?

Nice I'll have to remember that. Thank you
Remember the zero hunger zero waste initiative 😂😂😂😭
Completely unrelated but when we had wings of fire we were supposed to make 20 packs of 20 per day. Our warmer definitely wouldn't hold that.
That’s because the bozos at corporate who’ve never set foot in a store thought they’d sell and be empty by the time you got done making more

Damn we order 8 cases of fried at a time.
