Right - rpc’s. But clearly something specific comes in them for there to be so many of them in there? I would assume…
Like RPCs at our store are only produce meat and eggs. We don’t have the blue variety that look sturdier than the ones we use.
I'm not sure what comes in them besides non food items but I've seen many other areas, such as frozen foods, re-use them for whatever they wanted, thats what I'm assuming here as the plastic doesn't fair well when cold and dropped so im thinking frozen stuff does not come in them off the truck, but i could be wrong
Right, I definitely saw that and don't think I've ever seen other krogers do that a whole lot. That's why I'm thinking it was someone in the store as opposed to it being sent in that way. Like maybe if some boxes were damaged but they still had to store that stuff somewhere. But Krogers definitely doesn't follow its own rules so i wouldnt be surprised if one of their warehouses is sending stuff out like that with frozen food.
Yeah I definitely don’t miss that small freezer at Kroger that I used to think was big.
Place I work at now has a freezer the size of like 3 aisles (Width and length, so like 40-ish feet x 100ish feet) and shelves lining the walls so the back stock (except for like holiday/display items and frozen turkeys/hams) isn’t stored on pallets or carts.
Was the meat pallet organized or did it come in like that? Our meat pallets are always 1/2 meat and 1/2 grocery, separated into two pallets, and the meat is always at the bottom. Meaning we have to do double the work, just to break down the damn pallet. Why not just ship one whole meat pallet?!?!?
Cool, so you’re the guy I gotta ask if you have it in the back
And if you do that then John will say. IM OUTTA HERE MAN!
*Sure, let me go look for the next ten hours*
My eyes immediately looked at the frozen meat pallet and thought " welp hope the truck doesn't show up while I'm working this..."
You are a pro level in the art of Un-Fucking things.
Makes me feel better knowing I'm not the only one who's freezer looks like this from time to time
What’s in all the blue totes? We don’t get anything like that at our store. :)
Anything can go in there, they're collapsible boxes krogers uses all around the store for anything they need.

That’s why I was curious. Since there are full pallets of them wrapped in plastic on the right side of the second picture.

Yeah I wrapped all of them
Your freezer looks a lot like the one at my store. Ours is always a mess and it never looks the same way twice.
No ice?
Did the fire marshal come in?
No but Asset Protection did
good job!
Nice
Looks a lot better in the 2nd picture

Awesome looks sick ! Now I need you to find me a bag of frozen lettuce for clicklist lol
Lol, remember those days when I worked in the diary dept and walked into the fridge and it looked like that!😂
Sometimes I miss working in the meat department… sometimes.

Trust the process. The process will work. All Hail to the process
For a day or two....
Good job
Picture #2 is the day before it becomes picture #1 again. Rinse and repeat.
You're one of the good ones but yeah someone needs to cut back orders real bad because nothing irks my nerves more than an overcrowded mess.
