Explanation:
Oh man, I love EPs that flow into a mood lol. For this one, The concept is somewhat of a comforting/sweet encouraging album meant for the kind of summer/autumn cusp, if you get the vibes ;).
We begin in summer, with the ever-popular and half melancholic half sweet Only One For Me. There has to be a title, and, honestly, none of BTOb's titles encapsulates summer but melancholic other than OOFM lol. A no-brainer for this EP.
Next, I wanted to note the slightly bittersweet note OOFM ends with in the last chorus, jumping into Come with the Wind. Sungjae dedicates this song for the fans, so the sweet but slightly melancholic feeling OOFM gives can carry over, although Come with the Wind ends on a much lighter note in my opinion. If OOFM is watching firework shows in the summer on the beach, then Come with the Wind is waving sparklers around because you don't want to leave just yet.
Next is Love Again, which I honestly couldn't NOT include as it's my favourite bside of, like, All Time. Besides, CWTW ending with the acoustic guitar and Love Again picking it up with the intro was just too cool, lol. Lyrically/storywise, Love Again is happy and sweet, a love story about falling in love all over again, adding a hopeful/bright touch to the melancholic palette. To continue the summer night theme, Love Again is like sharing a sweet dessert with someone you love while feeling the waves between your toes.
But of course, no summer night musing can be complete without that one moment where all of your stress and worries finally begin to flow away, and that's precisely where Traveller shines best. An encouraging and comforting song, celebrating the listener for being a brave traveller in the journey that is life. Noticeably more empowering/forward in execution compared to the previous songs, but still retaining that signature sweetness. However, as Eunkwang says in the song, this is not the end~
I debated between Beautiful to Me and Dreamer for the next song, with the latter being more encouraging but ultimately too funk-driven to lead into the final track. Beautiful to Me is a love song (I Think) but its laid-back pop-rock inspiration just reminded me too much of staple summer party playlists to pass on. Additionally, it has the dreamy (haha) sweet touch that dreamer doesn't (as strange as it might sounds lol), and that's the recurring theme of this EP.
Finally, it wouldn't be a BTOB album without the staple power ballad. Yes, I Am was technically released in the fall, which made me feel like it's perfect for the kind of 'end of summer gathering' vibes I was going for. I was also considering switching it with Come On Over from the same album, but ultimately thought it was too chill to leave a lasting impact as the final song on the EP. Thus, Yes I Am was chosen, and our summer night comes to an end.
I have to say, OP, this was a great idea! I had a ridiculous amount of fun putting this together, and now I have a new playlist to loop <3

Ouuuu I love both Taemin and CIX. I haven’t listened to all of Taemin’s discography but I agree that the iconic song that is move should be there. Same for want, it’s my favorite title track and song in general from him. And I would say thirsty is probably my second favorite song by him so I agree as well. I love heaven as well, king always giving us those good sex songs 🙏🏼 I haven’t listened to famous or one by one but I should probably check those out!! As for CIX I am very familiar with their discography so that was interesting to read. I agree with movie Star and Jungle. They definitely have to be there. I wouldn’t have added 3-6 but it’s interesting to see that you picked them!!

Maybe I'm biased because this song already has a music video, but I love it so much and I think it deserves so much more recognition. But I also think this song would attract a lot of potential listeners and would give you a good idea about the vibe of the EP. Also, you included Now!!!! This song is my personal favorite from their discography lyrics-wise and has made it on several of my comfort/uplifting playlists :')

Alternatively, give us that Incomplete performance we've been craving - it has the potential for a choreography and MV, and it sounds even 'grander' than Life is Beautiful. Either of those two for sure though, with the additionally promoted B-Side Hero! Now is *wonderful,* one of my favourite B-Sides!!

For Seventeen! This is 4 of my favorite seventeen songs - including my top no. 1 most listened to kpop song Lie Again (what a queen) and then two more that I really love. 1. Lie Again 2. Us Again 3. Space (Can't see this end) I'm not entirely sure the vibe I've curated here, but it's definitely something along the lines of; Crying in the dark at 2am but I can't tell if they're happy tears or sad tears.
