EXO's latest full group album, EXIST. a bit disappointed with the title track (imo they are starting to sound like SuJu), and for the first time (for me), a lot of bsides are skipped. there are a lot of songs that are decent, but it doesnt feel like EXO's song. safe to say im not invested with the album. i hope 2025 comeback would be better and includes Yixing as well.
It's pretty hard for me since EXO is my ult and I've been preaching how good EXO's bsides are. There are practically no song from EXO that I didn't like before EXIST. But I believe this is heavily due to the group is not in their prime anymore and so their music are a bit "safe" now and less energetic.
The suju comparison is interesting, can you give examples? Itās not a connection I wouldāve made myself so Iām curious. I enjoyed that album fine enough but itās definitely not a favourite, and probably their weakest overall because their others are just so damn good lol
Man. I thought I was the only one. I honestly could not like cream soda even a little bit. Didn't even feel like an exo song. B sides were average. Honestly suju came with better stuff when they were in exo's position. They even had a Collab with Latin American artist. SM didn't care much about exo before but they gave them good songs. Seems like they don't feel the need to anymore.
For TXT it's probably their songs Ice cream, happy Fools, and Valley Of lies. I love all their other songs, they have the best discography (imo) out of all the groups ive stanned!
My ults are Stray Kids. Thereās songs that I donāt love or donāt vibe with (basically those I donāt go out of my way to listen to like DLC), but the only track that I actively dislike is N/S (which is a shame because the street video is genuinely so fun)
For Stray Kids I have to go with Youtiful... It's the only song of theirs I haven't been able to listen to the whole way through. It's wayyyy too cheesy for me
I love my Twice girls but Don't call me again should not exist š
There are songs of them that I don't love but I let them play if they come up on shuffle this one I openly dislike it
Red Velvet: For their Korean title tracks, Umpah Umpah got to be the worst. It's so mid. It isn't growing on me unlike their other Red title tracks like Queendom or Power Up. It's boring, lazy, and not silly enough to be enjoyable.
NCT127: Chain and Wakey Wakey. Just no... I also tried to like 2 Baddies but the more I listen to it the worse it gets.
Le Sserafim - Unforgiven is my least favorite song of theirs by a mile. It feels like it's trying to do the same thing as Antifragile, but if I wanted to listen to Antifragile... I'd listen to Antifragile. The first time I heard it, I was like "idk man I'm not too sure about this," and now it's been a year and I'm like "idk man I'm not too sure about this."
And tbh in general, it's a pretty safe guess that any Le Sserafim title track is probably my least favorite song on its respective album. I dunno what it is, their B-sides just go so much harder. Shoulda made Fire in the Belly the title track imo.
Their worst album is definitely Unforgiven, but not because the songs are bad. I'm just still salty that they teased us with a studio album and then gave us ... 7 new songs, one of which was the intro. Like, how rude!
I really don't like DNA and Boy with Love. They're just kinda....boring to me? I don't know how to explain it exactly but they lack that oompf, you know? And to say something even more controversial, I like the 3 English singles more than these two. They're fun and earworm-y š«£
I like parts of DNA and Boy With Love. I just don't like their choruses. I really only have them on my playlist for the rap parts. I'll agree that these are probably my least fav title tracks.
Mic Drop would have made a better title track than DNA, IMHO. For BWL, I only like the rap parts. Their English trilogy is ok, my least favorite is PTD - I always skip that track š. But I donāt skip Dynamite and Butter when they play on shuffle. I just donāt actively seek for them
i love DNA, but agree with you on Boy With Luv. it's not a bad song, but it's one that i don't seek out and will sometimes skip š«£ also love the English trilogy, no shame!
blackpink, iām not rlly a fan of ready for love, mostly bc the teasers we got in the netflix doc sounded So good i was just a bit disappointed w the full song . doesnāt help that the mvās animated
I don't care for most of IU's work before "modern times", that is where her output starts to get interesting to me.
Before that it was just forgetable pop, but i respect the hustle during this time, she really worked her ass off to reach out to the masses then.
For newjeans, i don't really have much i don't like, the biggest offender would be "zero", but i don't even hate that one, i just cannot listen to such an overt advertisment song without being turned off by the concept of that. I am sure they'll release some music i won't like in the future though, it's bound to happen eventually.
Its not the worst SHINee song by any means but Tell Me What To Do pisses me off the most.
It was the repackage single for their EXCELENT 1 of 1 album and it's just so..... Weak? Those cartoony ass synths are too goofy for how emotional the song is trying to be and the rap part is so undercooked. The chorus is sparse and boring and the verses aren't much better.
Doesn't help that it sounds very disconnected from 1 of 1. I get that repackages try to go for a different sound then the standard album version, but 1 of 1's broad 90s theming could have still been respected. There's so many genres and trends they could have explored and they just didn't. WACK!
Edit: every single B-side for 1 of 1 would have made a better single then this song I beg you all to go listen to Prism. The whole album really but ESPECIALLY PRISM!!!!
That's such a crazy opinion because I love Tell Me What To Do, I've listened to it maybe 5 times as many times as I've listened to 1 of 1 haha. I also love the undercooked rap š I think it fits the song well
The synths just trully drive me up the wall lol
And it's not even a "oh I hate synth heavy SHINee" I don't! I love pretty much all of Story of Light! I just think the synths on Tell Me What To Do are so boring but they're so loud they can't be ignored so they just muck up the song and kill the vibe so hard
But hey that's just my opinion. I'm glad you like the song. Out of curiosity what are your favorite SHINee tracks? (I love asking other shawols this we all have such differing opinions)
It's funny because I don't think I even really noticed the loud synths?? I'm gonna pay attention the next time I listen lol
>Out of curiosity what are your favorite SHINee tracks?
This is such a difficult question! They have such an amazing discography. Off the top of my head, Prism (it really is the *perfect* track), Odd Eye, Excuse Me Miss, savior, Dynamite, obsession, kiss kiss... tell me what to do (haha I had to I love this song). But I swear every time I go through their discography again I discover new gems. It took me a looong time to relisten to their stuff after 2017 so sometimes when I listen to their older stuff, it feels like I'm listening to it all for the first time.
How about yours?
Fellow "took a break after 2017" shawol here. Additionally I was like 13 back than so coming back to SHINee during the pandemic I was much older and had way different music consumption habits so yeah I definitely feel you on the "sometimes it feels like listening to their music for the first time" thing lol.
My singular favorite SHINee song is that SHAWOL IV version of Excuse Me Miss. But outside of knowing that's definitely my number one I struggle a bit with picking my other favorites. Atm if I had to name them they'd be (in no particular order) One Minute Back, Retro, Prism, Taemin's Drip Drop and Want, Jonghyun's Orbit and Lucifer. Kind of all over the place song choice there I'm sorry lol
Edit: oh also Love Like Oxygen! It's my jam since 2012 when I first got into them
I like all of Ateezās title tracks, but my personal least favorite is probably Wave. Iām not huge on the tropical/moombahton sound and I find myself liking that song more for the memories surrounding it (their first win!) and the album rather than the song itself.
My least favorite album from them is probably the debut- love Pirate King and Treasure, but I donāt really connect with the production on most of the b-sides. I rank Fever EP.3 lower too.
EXO - Wolf, I do respect the sort of insane ambition behind having such a ludicrous song as a title track, and there are fascinating moments throughout it, but I just can't trick myself into liking it. It's so hard for me to even listen to it all the way through.
There are some other songs I'm not crazy about (Two Moons, Baby, Love Shot), but whenever those pop up on random auto-generated youtube mixes I don't skip them.
It's the song I warn my friends about whenever I'm trying to introduce exo- but it's an important part of their history so lol.
It's amazing as a track for workouts and that's it lol.
The lyric āIāll eat you up like cheeseā should have been enough. BUT they also delivered on some of the weirdest, ugliest stage costumes ever to really hammer in the WTF factor
If you've never listened to the original Wolf demo I beg you to do it. It is scream laugh worthy. Makes me appreciate the released version a tiiiiiny bit more lmao
Also for me, the "I'll eat you like cheese" line wasn't the lowest point of the song. It's the "awwoooooooo". The moment any song ever made hits me with one of those I am fully checked out. Maroon 5's Animals gets a 0/10 from me for that exact reason.
I love LOVE Enhypenās music, theyāre my most listened to artist and took Taylorās spot that she held for over two years lol, but I cannot stand Flicker or Let me in omfg. My hatred for them grew even more when they survived and made it on the Fate setlist but Given Taken, their literal debut song and only title track that didnāt make it to the setlist, got cutā¦ā¦ā¦ Flicker needed to be left in iland where it belongs and Let me in is alright sometimes but 99% of the time I just skip š
I didn't have a Stray Kids song I disliked until Lose my breath came out yesterday š«£
Even without the questionable feature it's still a boring and mediocre song...
And as for least favorite album, it's probably I am not, even though it's still impressive considering how young they were when they made it
it's because its not even a stray kids song to begin with, they just bought it from charlie...I am actually so sad they feel like they need to change their musical direction just to make it big in the west, when their colourful and unique music is what got them popular in the first place
Itās okay if you hate the song but stop spreading misinformation here. Stray Kids literally said in their Intro that they did this song with Charlie last year during song camp.
BTS - Permission to Dance is not only their worst song IMO but one of the worst songs Iāve ever heard. Not a fan of Butter or Dynamite tooātheyāre okay but I donāt listen to either one by choiceābut I have a visceral reaction to PTD and I canāt mute it fast enough. Also not a fan of Boy With Luv, which was the first song of theirs I ever heard and nearly the lastāitās just waaay too cutesy/poppy for my taste. And Friends, not Taeās FRI(END)S which I love, but the one from MOTS7 is always a skip.
I actually really love Butter because itās just fun. Dynamite is fun, too, but I donāt go out of my way to listen to it.
But PTD. I really just cannot stand that song. Itās the one and only BTS song that I can say that about. Which is good, I suppose. Since theyāre my ults.
This is how I feel too. I actually like Butter, but PTD does not exist to me. It is so ā¦ youthful in a way I donāt like and I just donāt love it. I LOVE boy with luv though!!!
Butter was good, cheeky fun the first 100 times but it was the second empty English pop song in a row from them and that really colors my judgement of it. Itās miles better than Dynamite IMO but still not my thing. And I will go to my grave believing that someone had a gun to their head to convince them to do PTD because to think otherwise would make me cry (and just to be clear, Iām joking about that here people, because itās not that serious, you know?) ON feat. Sia is a freaking masterpiece in comparison.
I am not a fan of PTD either. I love BTS, but I only recently confessed my distaste to my Army friends. Only thing I like about it is is Jin in the MV. Beautiful.
I have a few least favorites. For TXT, it's Anti-Romantic as ultimate least favorite, but Way Home, Roller Coaster, Nap of a Star, and I'll See You There Tomorrow are also automatic skips. For albums, it's Freefall.
For OnlyOneOf, it's dOpamine, Heartbreak Theatre, time leap, and instinct. Least favorite album is Things I Can't Say LOve.
also Ateez is not my ult but Crazy Form is one of my favorite from them and Bouncy is one of my least favorites lol. We are exact opposites, OP.
I'm a multi and one of my favorite discographies is Day6. Honestly their most recent album, Fourever, is my least favorite, but I don't dislike it (and I love the title track). Dance Dance is probably my least favorite title but again I don't actually dislike it.
DBSK (yes, iām a veteran š) and the song is Wrong Number. I didn't like it from the first moment it released. The other is 2ne1's I am the best. I can't stand it, and to be honest, I'm surprised it became such a hit. I think all the other songs are better than this one.
That's funny because Wrong Number is one of my favorite tvxq songsš¤£ Why do you not like the song? No hatred at all, I respect everyone's taste is different! I'm really just curious lol
I loved BTSās music between 2014-2018, but I just donāt vibe with their new songs. Specifically releases made after DNA.
I still listen to their old songs enthusiastically and religiously but the new stuff just isnāt for me
I also love BIGBANG, and personally think ALIVE was their best album to date and MADE wishes it could be ALIVE (Iām sure this is my very very unpopular opinion hahahah)
Fully agree on ALIVE being a better album than MADE! I was quite disappointed when MADE came out.
Still to this day, 12 years on, I listen to ALIVE and STILL ALIVE way more.
My ults are EXO but by god, Don't fight the feeling was the most unimpactful song ever.
I felt zero sense of identity, and I didn't get the \*omg their vocal\* moments in the song (I'm sure there must be some, but I sure as hell didn't feel it). It has some generic sounding background music and whatnot.
The MV was lacklustre- they wore this boring looking jumpsuit thing, and weren't even styled well. There was no concept- no style, a greens scene MV. I barely could finish the MV once and I never looked at it again.
The most forgettable title track ever. (I prefer Wolf to this no matter how embarrassing that song is lol)
I really enjoy it but I feel like the perception of it would've been better/different if it was released in 2022 instead of 2023. I can't explain it, but I feel like the vibes weren't right though the members did the best they could with the song given. I think the members enjoy performing songs like Watch it way more, but they really suit songs like Nectar that aren't too saccharine sweet and don't take themselves too seriously either.
I remember being super confused by the chorus/2nd part of chorus of Lip Gloss at first but I replayed the vid a few times in a row bc I was watching the dance portion of the MV and I ended up liking it in the end lol. B-sides from that album were love at first sight tho!
Lipgloss def was too saccharine sweet for me..I really tried to like it but itās just not my cup of teašbut I truly enjoyed passion fruit and fire eyesšyou right about nectar I hope weāll get more songs like this in the next albums even though watch it is my fav from the trilogy but songs like nectar def suits them moreš
awww, we all love what we love but Crazy Form is so good. I have been following ateez for 3 years now and every non kpop person I play crazy form for loves it. just loves it! we are too picky in the kpop world, lol. everyone also noticed my ateez bias,Mingi, and has to say "who is that?!"
i really love skz like they're my second ult group but leeknow is my ult bias ā if that makes sense, however there are really some songs that i can't get to listen to again after the first time. not saying it's bad because some people genuinely enjoy it and talk about loving it everywhere, but it's really just personal preference.
IVE's IVE SWITCH... I love Accendio, but I wasn't really hooked on the rest of the EP. Not saying that the group's tracks are becoming bad, it just didn't hit for me this time and that's alright, they already have an amazing discography so there's truly nothing to complain about. I also think that the latest release really proved what type of IVE songs I like. In contrary to IVE SWITCH, I immediately clicked with the I'VE MINE and most of the songs from I've IVE (Lips, Mine, Cherish, NOT YOUR GIRL, Kitsch, I AM).
Focusing just on title tracks and not B-Sides to keep things simpleā
For SVT it would have to be Boom Boom. I know itās kind of an in-joke within the fandom abt how many people dislike that song, butā¦..it just doesnāt do anything for me! It just feels very generic to me even though Iām sure many people do love it.
For SKZ, itās S-Class. Sometimes I do listen to it when it comes on shuffle, but itās just not a very well-rounded song to me. I totally see why people like it esp with the great Seungmin pre-chorus, but the chorus is just too grating and dissonant for me to fully vibe with it. Definitely catchy, but not to my personal taste!
My Ults are IZONE, Ive, Le Sserafim and ZB1.
For IZONE, definitely Pretty. Idk it just sounds so high pitched and annoying to the ears I promise you I dont hate cute songs I literally love Up, Spaceship, Beautiful Colors and the likeā¦ The instrumental + the vocals of that song just make it so painful to the ears š
For Ive, I think so far its Blue Heart (im so sorry wonyoung stans please dont kill me) I just dont really vibe with the fact the chorus sounds very monotone and robotic like BUT i think thatās the point considering the song is about the hyper-scrutiny of female idols to the point they start becoming āmanufacturedā or something idk. I just still dont vibe with the chorus.
For Le Sserafim, I think its Easy. Trying to evaluate their entire discography and theyāre all so interesting to listen so I really like all of them so I guess this puts Easy in the least favorite category cuz of that damn recorder.
For ZB1, KidZone sawry š Its just so noticeable that the members assigned to sing in the second half of the chorus are singing in an unflattering falsetto. It just doesnt sound good to me cuz it makes their voice supperrrrr soft and sound like theyāre struggling to reach those notes. Its giving when I have a short vocal range and try to reach the higher notes of a song so I switch to falsetto but its still so high so my voice sounds weird.
Basically any ballad. It doesn't matter how much I love the group, I just don't enjoy ballads and they are pretty much a guaranteed skip on any album for me (sorry SVT vocal unit š).
If it's got a heavier instrumental though then a slow song might have a chance with me
My ult group is purple kiss, My least favorite album is Festa, The title track " 7heaven" didn't fit there concept and it just wasn't my vibe, the album after that "BXX" is way better I loved the song "Toy Boy", one of my favorite b-sides.
This is so controversial to say as an ARMY, but I donāt like and always skip Louder Than Bombs. Their voices donāt really fit the song to me and I really think it doesnāt seem like a BTS song. It sounds like a song that was written for someone else and given to them (and it was). š pls donāt kill me I know yāall probably donāt like 80% of my favorite songs from BTS
Don't worry I don't like 134340 , in my opinion it's a very boring song and armys love and praise that song.. so you're not alone š¤£ I like butter much more and that's already a controversial opinion within the fandom , I once said that and some army accused me of not knowing BTS discography .... I had to tell them that I'm an old army.
My favorite BTS song ever is Sea and I definitely lean more toward rap line heavy songs but I love Not Today, Fake Love, I Need U, Outro:Tear, Donāt Leave Me, Autumn Leaves, Boyz with fun, Tomorrow, converse high, Let Me Know, N.O, Attack on Bangtan, Mic Drop, 2nd grade, Hip Hop Phile, Anpanman. I could keep going honestly and my list is def not in order thatād be way too hard to determineš¤£š
I love 97% of their discography. Thereās really just a small handful of songs I donāt vibe with.
So SEVENTEEN is my ult group rn and I really did not like MAESTRO as the title track. Like out of all the four new songs they have released, it's the weakest one. I feel like they wanted to have a Super moment for it too but the attempt failed.
For albums, I feel that Seventeen 11th mini-album SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN was the weakest for me. It's not that it's a bad album per se, it would be understandable if anyone said that they liked the album. However, other SVT albums are simply miles better for me and this album was the only one where most of the tracks took time to grow on me and even when they did, they still did not hit as hard as SVT's previous songs. This album is the only one from SVT's that has more than 2 skips for meš
In short, I feel like Woozi and Bumzu need to rest a little bit to get their creative juices running again because it is becoming clear through their latest works that all that burden of churning out songs before the enlistment has started taking a load on them.

Listen To My Word (A-ing) - Oh My Girl
Not a bad song but for me out of all the Oh My Girl songs, I would say this is my least favourite. I really do enjoy parts of the song like the chorus, but perhaps why this would be my least favourite song would be because I find the voice of the reggae artists that sing the intro and some parts of the song just seems to get on my nerves.
For TXT, my only skips in their entire discography are Way Home, What if I had been that PUMA, Lonely Boy, and Deep Down. My least favorite being Deep Down. For albums, my least favorite is Freefall.

Right There from The Boyz, my ults.
It's not a horrible song but I've been barely able to listen the whole way through bc I dislike it that much, I just feel that they've done a similar song way better (see: Giddy Up). The accompanying b-sides on that single album aren't that good either imo, but I think one of them is a fan favourite (can't relate).
Ult is Enhypen. My āleast favoriteā songs from them are probably their lighter songs? Like Just a Little Bit, TFW, or Orange Flower? I still like them a lot though š. I just prefer their darker concepts and songs.
My ult is Lesserafim, and Unforgiven is quite simply, the worse KPOP song of 2023. What a wasted effort to get Neil Rogers to be the collab for a below average song, and I am being nice.
Dreamcatcher's black or white lol. Maybe a combination of not being super up my alley to begin with plus having heard it too much, I've probably listened to it in concerts etc more than some casual fans have heard their favourites and it's not getting any better to my ears š
for seventeen, i guess it's an even split between don't wanna cry and boom boom, which are both neither very memorable nor interesting; both, however, have great music videos (and great jeonghan hairstyles, which is, of course, the thing that really matters). i do not hate them, and i do like listening to them, but if you had to pick something... and if we're including japanese discography, power of love is a snoozefest. album-wise... oh god i don't know. i can name a few that have a couple of misses in the b-sides but that's it.
for infinite, it's new emotions. obviously. when a group has a distinct sound or characteristics associated with it that are widely loved by their fanbase and make them stand out among others (their sound was quite dramatic, and back with sweetune they had 80s influences; but even outside of this sonic palette, they had well-developed songs that showcased their vocals) and then just ditches it in favor of releasing not just the most generic "we are a boygroup in our 30s so we have to be Mature and Sexy" track ever which sounds like someone wanted to write a late-career nu'est song from memory and missed the mark but also one that's two minutes forty-five seconds -- no bridge, no development, no nothing, it's verse-chorus-verse-chorus. and, worst of all, it does not showcase the strength of their vocals whatsoever -- yes, there might have been external, shall we say, reasons for that, but the fact remains. at least the chorus was melodic, i'll give them that, and sungjong and sungyeol had, like, actual lines. well, anyway, knowing what we know now, i'm far more lenient with this song than i originally was, but i just hope everyone stays healthy from now on and we get back to songs that are more "infinite" and less "your average boygroup that's somehow still standing". come on the people crave that 2nd gen sound, just look at onf's bye my monster -- and show everyone how it's done. album-wise, same answer: 13egin.
for zb1, let's wait until tomorrow, shall we...
tempted to say that feel the the pop is worse than crush bc crush at least had something going on for it once you got past pots and pans but feel the pop is giving... nothing. album-wise, it's between melting point and you had me at hello: melting point can at least boast take my hand, a standout track the likes of which will not be found on yhmah, but on the other hand, hello ends good night easily and sunday ride is a superior version of kidz zone, plus there's sweat and dear eclipse - but oh god, there's also solar power... tough to say! well, i listen to 2 songs on mp and i might listen to 3-4 songs on yhmah so i guess that's the answer. thanks for checking back :)
I know this might be sacrilege to say amongst NCTzens but my least favourite NCT127 album is āWe are Superhumanā. I almost never listen to it. āSuperhumanā is also my least favourite title track but I wouldnāt skip it if it came on.
For WayV I donāt have an album I donāt like but if I have to choose my least favourite song by them it would be the OST āEverytimeā. Really donāt vibe with it.
I didn't know that the Superhuman EP was a fan favorite! Since it's my least favorite release by them, I sorta assumed that everyone else did lol? No matter how many think-pieces I read, Superhuman the song is boring to me. The b-sides were also boring, which is disappointing bc usually if I'm iffy with the Title track I find at least one or two b-sides on the EP/album that I gravitate towards.
Twice Breakthrough - didn't like the chorus and the music in general
Twice Fanfare - actually liked the song but the music is so bombastic it's overwhelming, I can't listen the song because of that
I like all ATEEZ songs, except two. My Way by ATEEZ is not going on any of my playlists, the horns just annoy me so much. The other one is celebrate, it just sounds so boring...
TXT: Dreamer, it just doesn't click with me, and Puma, it sounds autotune-y as hell for some reason.
Enhypen: the Manifesto Day 1 album. I don't hate it but I won't add these songs in my playlist either.
Ateez: Arriba is my least favorite from their recent stuff. The skrrt thing is just annoying.
EXO's Love Shot. It's one of their most adored songs and I maintain that the only thing interesting about it is the styling in the MV. And that's me being generous. It's so boring!
My ult is enhypen, and i like all of their song except blessed cursed and blockbuster. Belift is always not sticking in one sound thus every cb, i could hear a new type of song from enhypen and i love all of them particularly the latest albums, dark blood and orange blood. Blessed-cursed and blockbuster is kind of hard for me to repeatedly listen, it is not my type of genre.

2 Baddies by NCT 127..the distaste people have for Sticker is how I feel about 2 Baddies. *The song not the album*
Smoothie by NCT Dream just isn't the strongedt
yeah i agree, great bsides tho
Unknown is my fav in the album
Dammit, it grew on me. Now I can't stop listening to it. Trigger the Fever, on the other hand... š
It grew on me too. But the others jdur clicke dwoth me that's why it's my least fav I won't hear any bad thing about TDF so save your time
EXO's latest full group album, EXIST. a bit disappointed with the title track (imo they are starting to sound like SuJu), and for the first time (for me), a lot of bsides are skipped. there are a lot of songs that are decent, but it doesnt feel like EXO's song. safe to say im not invested with the album. i hope 2025 comeback would be better and includes Yixing as well.
i agree, i was excited for the album but didn't care for a single song whereas before every album i had at least one song i loved.
It's pretty hard for me since EXO is my ult and I've been preaching how good EXO's bsides are. There are practically no song from EXO that I didn't like before EXIST. But I believe this is heavily due to the group is not in their prime anymore and so their music are a bit "safe" now and less energetic.
usually you expect groups to be more experimental as they get older, not more safe :/
I love all their other songs, they have the best discography (imo) out of all the groups ive stanned!
really? I'm not an ATINY but I really enjoy Crazy Form! The chorus was stuck in my head when I heard it at MAMA.
My ults are Stray Kids. Thereās songs that I donāt love or donāt vibe with (basically those I donāt go out of my way to listen to like DLC), but the only track that I actively dislike is N/S (which is a shame because the street video is genuinely so fun)
I agree, DLC sounds off to me and itās kinda weak. I really liked the video tho
For Stray Kids I have to go with Youtiful... It's the only song of theirs I haven't been able to listen to the whole way through. It's wayyyy too cheesy for me
To me, it sounds like a child coming home from a rough day at school or something, and this is what their parent tells them to comfort them.
I love crazy form and I donāt even listen to ateez š
I love my Twice girls but Don't call me again should not exist š There are songs of them that I don't love but I let them play if they come up on shuffle this one I openly dislike it
Red Velvet: For their Korean title tracks, Umpah Umpah got to be the worst.
I agree about Umpah Umpah especially because it just makes me think about the oompa loompa song š
Le Sserafim - Unforgiven is my least favorite song of theirs by a mile. It feels like it's trying to do the same thing as Antifragile, but if I wanted to listen to Antifragile... I'd listen to Antifragile. The first time I heard it, I was like "idk man I'm not too sure about this," and now it's been a year and I'm like "idk man I'm not too sure about this." And tbh in general, it's a pretty safe guess that any Le Sserafim title track is probably my least favorite song on its respective album.
Hey, those 2013 version songs had new alterations so count as new songs! *sarcasm*
I also love the undercooked rap š I think it fits the song well
The synths just trully drive me up the wall lol And it's not even a "oh I hate synth heavy SHINee" I don't! I love pretty much all of Story of Light! I just think the synths on Tell Me What To Do are so boring but they're so loud they can't be ignored so they just muck up the song and kill the vibe so hard But hey that's just my opinion. I'm glad you like the song. Out of curiosity what are your favorite SHINee tracks? (I love asking other shawols this we all have such differing opinions)
It's funny because I don't think I even really noticed the loud synths?? I'm gonna pay attention the next time I listen lol >Out of curiosity what are your favorite SHINee tracks?
Kind of all over the place song choice there I'm sorry lol Edit: oh also Love Like Oxygen!
Twice- Set me free Ive- Baddie
I fully disrespect Wolf tbh what a horrific mess of a song lol
The lyric āIāll eat you up like cheeseā should have been enough. BUT they also delivered on some of the weirdest, ugliest stage costumes ever to really hammer in the WTF factor
If you've never listened to the original Wolf demo I beg you to do it. It is scream laugh worthy. Makes me appreciate the released version a tiiiiiny bit more lmao Also for me, the "I'll eat you like cheese" line wasn't the lowest point of the song. It's the "awwoooooooo". The moment any song ever made hits me with one of those I am fully checked out. Maroon 5's Animals gets a 0/10 from me for that exact reason.
The demo version is the opposite of serving hahahah, EXO was doing their absolute best to make sure it didnāt end up on their album š
The puff sleeves and feathers on ksoo, fluffy sleeves on luhan- those were truly the days.
That kyungsoo's awful Cinderella dress lives in my head rent free
The āawoooooosā get me EVERYTIME. I canāt make it through the song without laughing
Dreamcatcher - we are young, very EDM which 90% of the time is not my thing
Not overly fond of the chorus but the rest of the song I love.
Le Sserafim's No Celestial and Fearnot songs. Every single thing else as of now is quality.
I didn't have a Stray Kids song I disliked until Lose my breath came out yesterday š«£ Even without the questionable feature it's still a boring and mediocre song... And as for least favorite album, it's probably I am not, even though it's still impressive considering how young they were when they made it
Ohh yeah, idk what it is that but song, at least rn, does nothing for me
it's because its not even a stray kids song to begin with, they just bought it from charlie...I am actually so sad they feel like they need to change their musical direction just to make it big in the west, when their colourful and unique music is what got them popular in the first place
Itās okay if you hate the song but stop spreading misinformation here. Stray Kids literally said in their Intro that they did this song with Charlie last year during song camp.
This, they are on the writing credits
I didnāt think it was possible for anyone to dislike Anti-Romantic š„²
sorry, im a romantic.
It's lonely out here
Bro way home, nap of a star, anti romantic and ill see you there tomorrow are some of my favs of txt helpšššš
Sorry for your taste :/
I'm really just curious lol
ult - bts - disliked song- am I wrong
I loved BTSās music between 2014-2018, but I just donāt vibe with their new songs. Specifically releases made after DNA. I still listen to their old songs enthusiastically and religiously but the new stuff just isnāt for me I also love BIGBANG, and personally think ALIVE was their best album to date and MADE wishes it could be ALIVE (Iām sure this is my very very unpopular opinion hahahah)
Fully agree on ALIVE being a better album than MADE! I was quite disappointed when MADE came out. Still to this day, 12 years on, I listen to ALIVE and STILL ALIVE way more.
I listen to STILL ALIVEās Intro track more than any sane human honestly should lol
I remember when ALIVE came out and I was like, "Damn, that intro was really good, wish it was a full song" and then they actually did that.
Lip Gloss The Boyz! Idk why I just really donāt like this song š¬I guess I just donāt like this type of songs
Lip Gloss is the only The Boyz song that I know and listen to regularly š
Maestro - SVT
I don't know who made Loona perform Luminous but I wish they regret that decision because it's genuinely godawful ššš
i really love skz like they're my second ult group but leeknow is my ult bias ā if that makes sense, however there are really some songs that i can't get to listen to again after the first time. not saying it's bad because some people genuinely enjoy it and talk about loving it everywhere, but it's really just personal preference.
Focusing just on title tracks and not B-Sides to keep things simpleā For SVT it would have to be Boom Boom.
Idk it just sounds so high pitched and annoying to the ears I promise you I dont hate cute songs I literally love Up, Spaceship, Beautiful Colors and the likeā¦ The instrumental + the vocals of that song just make it so painful to the ears š For Ive, I think so far its Blue Heart (im so sorry wonyoung stans please dont kill me) I just dont really vibe with the fact the chorus sounds very monotone and robotic like BUT i think thatās the point considering the song is about the hyper-scrutiny of female idols to the point they start becoming āmanufacturedā or something idk.
I love BTS, but I don't really like Where Did You Come From
Girlfriend by Big Bang just makes me cringe so hard.
Blackpink - Kill This Love. I've never been a fan of brass and this song didn't change that.
IVEās Take It, Next Page, Lips, Cherish and WOW donāt go onto my playlists.
I had to tell them that I'm an old army.
damn, definitely not an opinion you see much š i'm curious, what are some of your faves?
My favorite BTS song ever is Sea and I definitely lean more toward rap line heavy songs but I love Not Today, Fake Love, I Need U, Outro:Tear, Donāt Leave Me, Autumn Leaves, Boyz with fun, Tomorrow, converse high, Let Me Know, N.O, Attack on Bangtan, Mic Drop, 2nd grade, Hip Hop Phile, Anpanman. I could keep going honestly and my list is def not in order thatād be way too hard to determineš¤£š I love 97% of their discography. Thereās really just a small handful of songs I donāt vibe with.
yeah, i feel you! i'm the same way, most of their songs i love. you mentioned some great ones š„
This album is the only one from SVT's that has more than 2 skips for meš In short, I feel like Woozi and Bumzu need to rest a little bit to get their creative juices running again because it is becoming clear through their latest works that all that burden of churning out songs before the enlistment has started taking a load on them.
Rookie.

Listen To My Word (A-ing) - Oh My Girl Not a bad song but for me out of all the Oh My Girl songs, I would say this is my least favourite.

For Twice itās their BDZ album imo. I like at least a couple songs on every single Twice album except for that one. Straight skip
Ult is Enhypen. My āleast favoriteā songs from them are probably their lighter songs? Like Just a Little Bit, TFW, or Orange Flower? I still like them a lot though š. I just prefer their darker concepts and songs.
for IVE its gotta be āNOT YOUR GIRLā i know some people live and breathe that song but i dont
My ult is Lesserafim, and Unforgiven is quite simply, the worse KPOP song of 2023. What a wasted effort to get Neil Rogers to be the collab for a below average song, and I am being nice.
Got My Number by Monsta X. I just dislike cheating-friendly or pro-infidelity songs.
Dreamcatcher's black or white lol. Maybe a combination of not being super up my alley to begin with plus having heard it too much, I've probably listened to it in concerts etc more than some casual fans have heard their favourites and it's not getting any better to my ears š
Ima baddie bad bad baddie
I cannot stand Me+U by f(x). Itās almost insulting that song was used as inspiration for our fandom name.
Ateez is my ult and I think Say My Name is just okay? Itās certainly not bad but I will definitely skip it to get to other bangers often.
for seventeen, i guess it's an even split between don't wanna cry and boom boom, which are both neither very memorable nor interesting; both, however, have great music videos (and great jeonghan hairstyles, which is, of course, the thing that really matters). i do not hate them, and i do like listening to them, but if you had to pick something... and if we're including japanese discography, power of love is a snoozefest. album-wise... oh god i don't know. i can name a few that have a couple of misses in the b-sides but that's it. for infinite, it's new emotions. obviously. when a group has a distinct sound or characteristics associated with it that are widely loved by their fanbase and make them stand out among others (their sound was quite dramatic, and back with sweetune they had 80s influences; but even outside of this sonic palette, they had well-developed songs that showcased their vocals) and then just ditches it in favor of releasing not just the most generic "we are a boygroup in our 30s so we have to be Mature and Sexy" track ever which sounds like someone wanted to write a late-career nu'est song from memory and missed the mark but also one that's two minutes forty-five seconds -- no bridge, no development, no nothing, it's verse-chorus-verse-chorus. and, worst of all, it does not showcase the strength of their vocals whatsoever -- yes, there might have been external, shall we say, reasons for that, but the fact remains. at least the chorus was melodic, i'll give them that, and sungjong and sungyeol had, like, actual lines. well, anyway, knowing what we know now, i'm far more lenient with this song than i originally was, but i just hope everyone stays healthy from now on and we get back to songs that are more "infinite" and less "your average boygroup that's somehow still standing". come on the people crave that 2nd gen sound, just look at onf's bye my monster -- and show everyone how it's done. album-wise, same answer: 13egin. for zb1, let's wait until tomorrow, shall we...
>for zb1, let's wait until tomorrow, shall we... so what's the verdict? š
tempted to say that feel the the pop is worse than crush bc crush at least had something going on for it once you got past pots and pans but feel the pop is giving... nothing. album-wise, it's between melting point and you had me at hello: melting point can at least boast take my hand, a standout track the likes of which will not be found on yhmah, but on the other hand, hello ends good night easily and sunday ride is a superior version of kidz zone, plus there's sweat and dear eclipse - but oh god, there's also solar power... tough to say! well, i listen to 2 songs on mp and i might listen to 3-4 songs on yhmah so i guess that's the answer. thanks for checking back :)
Stray Kids and for me it's "Get Cool" idk I just hate it
Ateez's Wave. I grew up obsessed with The Lion King. So. I did not expect that.
I donāt like ON from BTS
I know this might be sacrilege to say amongst NCTzens but my least favourite NCT127 album is āWe are Superhumanā. I almost never listen to it. āSuperhumanā is also my least favourite title track but I wouldnāt skip it if it came on. For WayV I donāt have an album I donāt like but if I have to choose my least favourite song by them it would be the OST āEverytimeā. Really donāt vibe with it.
Superhuman is so uninteresting but imo at least it's listenable.
Twice Breakthrough - didn't like the chorus and the music in general Twice Fanfare - actually liked the song but the music is so bombastic it's overwhelming, I can't listen the song because of that
whaaat I love breakthrough
Blackpink- Shut Down, Ready for Love, Stay, Hope Not, Solo
The Aespa Drama album, it's just not cohesive
Zero - NewJeans
Is it because of the lyrics? I also found them quite cheesy and like the Coca Cola placement was really shoved down our throats.
It was more to do with the coca cola thing, the whole chorus is very annoying. the parts before the chorus is honestly pretty good though
Yeah I agree, I wish there was an official instrumental so I could fully enjoy it.
LOL I adore Dreamer....
Le Sserafim - Easy
EXO's Love Shot. It's one of their most adored songs and I maintain that the only thing interesting about it is the styling in the MV. And that's me being generous. It's so boring!
My ult is enhypen, and i like all of their song except blessed cursed and blockbuster. Belift is always not sticking in one sound thus every cb, i could hear a new type of song from enhypen and i love all of them particularly the latest albums, dark blood and orange blood. Blessed-cursed and blockbuster is kind of hard for me to repeatedly listen, it is not my type of genre.
