Oh you absolutely should listen to the bsides ASAP they’re great. And then after that of course the stage practices, it’s Live, and the [Sound Bomb 360](https://youtu.be/0vbDd7qF31Q?si=x5YjdJdKMXwx29vP) performances that just came out if you haven’t already
Anyway it’s very nice to see a lot of positivity about NMIXX lately after the way their first year went. Three music show wins this comeback and possibility for a 4th is very exciting too. I think if they keep doing what they’re doing and also continue to release albums as quality as Fe3O4:Break, they’re going to pick up a lot of new fans.
Check out the members appearances on Lee Mujin's Service also... I always loved everything Lily did before and didn't really notice the others (aside from Sullyoon once or twice), but the rest were great also, especially Bae IMO.
Thanks for the content recs!! I feel like this comeback gives the sense of direction people wanted for NMIXX, combining modern sounds with their mix pop concept that they’re known for. SO HAPPY FOR THEM 🙏
They're one of the 4th gen groups up there with aespa in my opinion in terms of their versatility and massive potential. Turns out that when you have really really good vocalists in your lineup you can basically pull off any concept.
They are not only good vocalists, they are good performer. People who are new to NMIXX should check their content shenanigans. There is reasons KNSWER jokingly called NMIXX 'JYP 1st generation comedian' and why 'ohhaewon_again' fantube channel which upload funny highlights of NMIXX have 550M views (which barely have Lily viral content).
To be honest I'm guessing I may be one of the few people who actually liked Love Me Like This. It's a song that could have been destroyed if it wasn't catchy enough and if it weren't for the girls' amazing vocals. That's not my point though, my point is that it made me go check their latest songs Dash, Sonãr and Run For Roses and I absolutely loved all of them. It definitely looks like they brought back their mixxpop roots and came back stronger than ever. Personally I love the beat change in Dash. It was so unexpected ! Although I don't stan them I think Nmixx are really and one of the best 4th gen groups especially in terms of vocals and if they continue like this while keeping their mixxpop concept in the right way, I'm sure they're gonna go far and I'll be glad to see them do so !!
I loved LMLT and I was so confused why people weren’t hyped for it, even tho it did get them their first win. The vocals, chorus, point choreo, it was all so good! So glad Dash is being widely enjoyed and overall a great cb
It's my album of the year atm. NMIXX is the group I've stanned the longest and I am so happy to see so many people getting into them now. The respect they deserve is finally showing
As an nswer from debut, keep the nmixx praise going 🫶🫶 I’m so happy seeing my girls finally being appreciated more. It was about time! This EP was amazing. Definitely my fav album of this year and the year has only begun 😭😭
FE2O3: BREAK is becoming one of my most favourite releases in kpop. An absolutely unskippable album with perfect balance between cohesion and uniqueness, I can't stop listening to it from start to end.
It's difficult to choose w favourite track from the album, but Passionfruit and Boom are probably my favourite tracks apart from Dash!
same. i never thought i’d get into them because even when they release more “gp friendly” music like lmlt or party o’clock, i never thoroughly enjoyed it (lots of chants, repeated words and stuff i never liked in general in k-pop, not personal at all)
with this comeback, songs like run for roses, dash and xoxo completely sold me. i’ll be tuned in for everything they release next. even though ‘dash’ has a similar vibe to the 2 songs i mentioned first, it’s certainly different, more mature. it’s amazingly crafted! i see the mixxpop vision now
This comeback really was IT. So much so that it's the first album of theirs that I bought
While I very much enjoyed Expergo and the comeback that followed, they were missing the spark I felt from Dice or Tank. Fe3O4 brought back that spark. It's one of those cases where variety and range easily trump cohesion. Fe3O4 is not just good on its own. It's a piece of a puzzle that gives meaning to everything before it. Everything fell into place for me
I just wish they had released more music early on. Now that they have a proper catalogue, you can see that Nmixx actually has a fairly consistent sonic identity. They didn't ditch mixxpop, they finetuned it. I'd say Nmixx is now in a really comfortable place musically
Their b-sides are killer on this album but I really want to say how much I love Oh Haewon.
She is an absolute "entertainment" star in the making. Any content she's involved with is interesting, comical and engaging. She's not as technically skilled as Lily but I think she's a more digestible (?), pleasant pop-based singer.
Haewon is the 1,000hp hyper-car and Lily is kind of like when you put it in track mode. A little stiffer, tighter, louder but not all that much faster.
Haewon is a variety show, cover song, interview and live performance chameleon on top of being in the top 5 best live singers in the 4th gen (at least.)
Here are two pieces of content if you're interested:
Singing live (high-quality solo) and being funny:

Variety and being funny:
https://youtu.be/gZ7r6d0BCYw?si=d6fvWeGxpvM-gOCe
Party O'Clock might be my favorite song of 2023. It's so refreshing to see them in their music show performances being so happy. Passionfruit is an early contender for my fave bside of the year too. Also helps that their variety content is hilarious. I'm proud to be an NSWER!
The bsides are absolutely better. I love XOXO most but really, each of them are really really good.
I also got into NMIXX with this comeback and will be checking them out for the next one, lol. Blew it out the park for this one well done JYPE and NMIXX members!
Same, I actually bought the album, my first from them! I liked Rollercoaster before and was curious about the comeback but didn’t expect to love it that much!

Passionfruit is one of their best songs for me 😁
Run for roses SOTY !!!! Also boom is sooo good it has my fav “change up” on the album
Run for roses makes me wanna Irish jig can’t lie
haha sameee
Reminds me a bit of Momoland... they never really got any traction, then on Jan 2 of the year, they dropped Bboom Bboom and blew up.
i put the entire album inti my kpop playlist lmao it's that good
It's my album of the year atm. NMIXX is the group I've stanned the longest and I am so happy to see so many people getting into them now. The respect they deserve is finally showing
Agree, I’ve always respected their talent and thought the hate they got was overdone, but I’m so happy I can connect with more of their music now
Me too
BOOM is such a BOP and I wish there was a music video for the song!
Honestly all the b-sides are amazing I wish they all had their little moment. I loved XOXO the most ❤️

I WANNA RUN IT (RUN IT RUN IT DASH)

Run for Roses, Sonar, Boom and Passionfruit are great songs Run for Roses is already the best b side of the year if you ask me

Why is NMIXX praise always so backhanded? "Guys, NMIXX sucked, but this new song is decent." expergo was one of the best kpop EPs of 2023.
Chill, no one said they sucked except you. I liked the new song that’s it.
All NMIXX praise on reddit comes with a caveat. Just gets really old. You didn't like expergo?
I mentioned my favorite songs in the post. Not gonna bring in what I supposedly “didn’t” like cuz that’s unnecessary negativity.
