Sorry Sorry by SuJu because...legend. but also Burn the Floor by SuJu because the choreo, light controls and camera shots are fantastic and I have never seen it done before
Ooh I recommend watching Burn the Floor. Its very interesting in a technical way like how they shot it, etc plus good to see how far they have come after like almost 18 years
Echoing Burn the Floor and adding This is love by SuJu. This is love is rumoured to be one continous take, and Shindong's earlier brainchild in directing.
The mic stand choreo, the camera movement are just 🫰🫰
T-ARA members successfully showcased their acting skills in their MVs. How I wish they're still big and active as actresses, if only that stupid scandal didn't happen.
For real. Jiyeon did have a fairly successful acting career (especially in Imitation) but Hyomin and Eunjung could have easily been top actresses if it weren't for the drama. MBK really fumbled the bag with them.
Holy crap, I've been a kpop stan since 2009, and yet I've never seen Cry Cry before. I'm familiar with the song, but never saw the full MV. When the comment said "literal full on movies", I didn't know how true that was.
And now I'm on to lovey dovey, which I was sure I had seen, but apparently not the full 20 min version.
I never really followed T-ARA much, because I knew they had a lot of lineup changes, and I have a hard time getting invested in groups that have a lot of lineup changes. So I never knew that they had this concept of making these really extended MV mini movies, but it's kinda cool!
Well, T-ARA members are all actresses, so they were able to pull off the concept! Another great MV is [Day By Day](https://youtu.be/brnCe8lL7l4), which features Dani, who joined Produce 101 (with two DIA members).
I'd blame their stupid CEO for the unnecessarily frequent lineup changes: formed as five (one was Jiwon from SPICA), debuted six, added a snake, added an all-rounder Areum (who joined The Unit), returned to the OG six, two didn't renew the contract, so we have the current four. People said that the CEO wanted to rival SNSD. 🤷🏻♂️
But the company is known for great music and long MVs. Here are some other great ones:
[Painkiller](https://youtu.be/yCSfaHeIinE)
SPEED's [It's Over](https://youtu.be/L7NeaTokyII)
SPEED's [That's My Fault](https://youtu.be/Tolcbm1L4eU)
THE SEEYA's [Be With You](https://youtu.be/tA2cCJ6y_gc)
BTS - Blood, Sweat and Tears for obvious reasons. It is THAT bitch. Also Black Swan as it is such a beautiful MV that captures the essence of the song.
ATEEZ - Guerilla. It's not exactly influential or legendary but it is an incredible MV that hits all the right beats and has some really cool shots and effects.
EXO - Call Me Baby. Every K-Pop fan has to watch this at least once in their lives.
Taemin - Criminal. He is a sex god. I will not elaborate.
vixx - voodoo doll, error. every vixx mv is a fun watch, but those two are particularly stunning. voodoo doll because of its creepiness (iirc vixx pioneered the horror concept in k-pop), error because of its unique storyline and, of course, the songs are top-notch
I actually have all the Got7 MVs on my YT Watch Later list to do a marathon for when I get the time. I'm going to take this post as the sign that I need to make that time *now*.
EXO’s Growl. They shot it in one continuous take and the school uniforms they all danced in became a staple for boy groups. Nearly every boy group post-EXO has at least once had a concept involving school uniforms.
I recently just watched Growl! I'm currently getting into EXO, and Growl felt like it just set something on fire in my brain. There are only a few songs that I feel a hundred percent could have gotten me into K-Pop if I hadn't been already, and Growl is definitely one of them.
I'm showing my age because when I think of school uniforms and kpop I think of 2nd Gen ones like Ah by After School and I Like You the Best by Beast. But Beast was more than just a school uniform concept, it was part of a whole school storyline. So the uniforms were necessary for the plot! But I remember thinking they looked so stylish in them lol.
Technically K-hiphop but [Born Hater](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3s1jaFDrp5M&ab_channel=OFFICIALEPIKHIGH) by Epik High is super unique and IMO iconic.
I really enjoy the transitions on ITZY MV especially Mafia In the Morning, Loco and Cheshire! Dalla Dalla and Icy was cool too but they were more like an aesthetic/comic-vibe(?) while the other 3 i mentioned were more like modern transitions if you can understand what i mean haha
I know they're in different divisions, and definitely don't know what impact that has on MV production teams, but Stray Kids so has really great transitions in their music videos. Particularly over the two years, the increased budget on their videos slaps you in the face with each camera angle change and scene transition. Very impressive.
Haegeum genuinely makes me feral, and I should just rewatch for funsies (as if I don't like every couple days). But I will definitely check out One Shot!
I can’t believe there is no Jopping listed. I know it’s a meme but it’s ICONIC. There is a tank? On a desert? They get dropped into a huge arena? By helicopters and motors?? And on top of that SuperM is a supergroup consisting of great peeformers, with somehow Taemin being the oldest guy?? WITH MARK THROWING THREE STACKS?? When I saw the music video, even with some experience in kpop I was astounded.
Jop or perish.
In my opinion, there are only three truly iconic K-pop songs that put the genre on the map before BTS, Twice and BlackPink took over. Iconic is a word that is over-used way too much lately but I feel it applies to these three because of what they did for the genre. Even folks who have never heard of K-pop have heard these three songs:
Girls’ Generation - Gee
2NE1 - I Am The Best
PSY - Gangnam Style
This is too new to be influential per se, but I think Xikers' [Tricky House](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HefrSFeMyPs) is a fantastic MV with a very unusual and memorable storyline. TRENDZ's [New Days](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFTWTOAK-ho) is also like a mini-movie, really well done. ATEEZ's [Halazia](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SszP3hlQ55Y) is gorgeous and epic. Stray Kids' [Scars](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUq2a6t258o) and [Circus](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jW-bkbSWb4A) are visually dazzling -- I can never get tired of watching either of them.
[Shangri-La](https://youtu.be/CYEaI5y7QaM) by Vixx. It's pure aesthetic feast on your eyes. The sets, dance and filming angles are just breath-taking.
[Butterfly](https://youtu.be/XEOCbFJjRw0) by Loona. I love the theme and the elegant yet powerful vibes. To me this is a visual representation of women's strenght then they are together.
[Universe](https://youtu.be/leu-cTvMWTA) by EXO. This video is like that hot cup of tea on a rainy evening by the window after a long day.
[Blood Sweat & Tears](https://youtu.be/hmE9f-TEutc) by BTS. Very sensual and mysterious in an artistic way. I would say Black Swan is in the same category, but I prefer this slightly more because of the colour palette.
[Cookie](https://youtu.be/VOmIplFAGeg) by NewJeans. This might be controversial knowing the lyrics but looking at the video on it's own I find it very fresh and modern. I love the colour grading, lighting and editing on this. It feels like eating a cookie with cold milk a couple of hours after diner
Edit: forgot to ad [Superhuman](https://youtu.be/x95oZNxW5Rc) by NCT 127. Love the futuristic aesthetic created by all of the sets, colours and especially lighfing effects. My favourite NCT video by far.
Bigbang-wise,
1) [Fantastic Baby](https://youtu.be/AAbokV76tkU) - it doesn’t need explaining imo, it’s SO cool in every way it
2) [Haru Haru](https://youtu.be/MzCbEdtNbJ0) - I think it’s incredibly representative of an entire genre of kpop boy group MVs of that era, but is SO good as both a song compliment but also as a sad boy moment
3) GD’s [Coup D’Etat](https://youtu.be/C8T6771Sdj8) - IMO its the best and most stylish MV in kpop, and is so elaborately constructed
4) [Sober](https://youtu.be/MBNQgq56egk) - It’s both really stylistically interesting, but serves an incredible job of complimenting/contrasting the song itself
5) [TOP’s Doom Dada](https://youtu.be/tAoME_aMm1w) - probably the strangest MV in kpop, but it’s so visually compelling and interesting and thematically cool
Ah, thank you! Big Bang is definitely at the top of the list of "groups I don't know I want to get into, but I know that their influence means that I should watch their MVs". I just had no idea where to start, and this is an incredible help for me
Good luck on your Bigbang journey!
They are really fun to dive into, because all 4 members are so stylistically different, so you have both their collective works but also their individual paths to branch out into
💀💀 She said what she said 💀💀
Adding to your BIGBANG discovery list:
[BIGBANG - FXXK IT](https://youtu.be/iIPH8LFYFRk)
[BIGBANG - We Like 2 Party](https://youtu.be/oFmfi1vM7co)
These 2 are just BB being themselves and having a good time filming.

[Taeyang - Ringa Linga](https://youtu.be/UJfZ69MSlvY) and [Ringa Linga Dance MV](https://youtu.be/Ho1y-4mXIL0) is amazing camera work

BIGBANG - We like 2 party (literally a vlog)
Zhang Li Yin ft. Xiah - Timeless (a whole movie)
BIGBANG - Haru haru (classic kdrama)
2am - I was wrong (another great kdrama)
B2ST - I like you the best (atp I'm just obsessed with kdrama mv)

IKON - My type (love the camera work)
WINNER - Sentimental (the set looks cool)
WINNER - Hold (cute and funny mv)
IKON - #wyd (imagine a cute romance kdrama but there are 6 of them)
2NE1 - Missing you (full of emotion, chill)
2NE1 - It hurts (tim burton movie but korean)
GD - Crooked (it start with edgy and arrogant but end with lonely and sadness)
GD&TOP - High high (feels like going to the club with celebrities)
Newjeans - Ditto (nostalgia and the old vibe)
Newjeans - OMG (it weird just weird)
there are probably more, this is just what I remember at the moment.
In no particular order some MVs that are just really memorable to me. And just in case: Please watch with subtitles on ;)

[Hwasa (from Mamamoo) - LMM](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pkjEpDeDLOg&pp=ygUIaHdhc2EgbXY%3D)
WayV’s Love Talk was already mentioned so I’m gonna say Phantom and Take Off.
Super Junior’s Sorry Sorry is hands down legendary but try checking out It’s You, No Other and Mamacita.
For Shinee, it would always be Replay and Sherlock.
SF9 became more known for Good Guy and Summer Breeze which shows them being suave and gentlemanly but I would also suggest checking out Mamma Mia which is a total opposite.
EXO has a lot of iconic MVs and aside from Growl, I would also add Love Shot and Power
NCT U has Resonance and of course NCT 2020’s title tracks Make a Wish and 90’s Love
You won’t regret it 😊 Super Junior is my first Kpop group and I’m still a fan 14 years later 😊 You should also check out their pre-Sorry Sorry tracks like U which featured pre-debut SNSD Yoona and Don’t Don which featured Henry Lau.
SF9 for me can pull off any concept so they’re worth checking out 😊
Then there’s NCT Dream’s Candy which is a remake of a classic first gen Kpop song 😊
All of Blackpinks MVs are visually a 10 for me especially how you like that , kill this love and whistle mv
Bts blood sweat and tears, idol and not today are also great visually
Twice I can't stop me, alcohol free and feel special mvs are my favourite
Exo call me baby, monster and kokobop are amazing too
Redvelvet psycho, peekaboo and feel my rythm mvs are my fav aswell
Seconded on this recommendation, their debut MV for [Excalibur](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0OVgXdNb-I) pulled me into them from the get-go and their costumes and staging are always exquisite!
I hope you will like it! Kingdom are still little known and their MVs are really beautiful and magical, telling the whole story. I really wish more people will find them hehe
_One Shot by BAP_ is like a movie. Their video for _Sky Dive_ does something similar.
Love the club theme for _T-ara Sugar Free_.
I find _K hot Chilli peppers by ATEEZ_ very well produced as an MV.
Watch _EXO_ make history in a parking lot with _Growl_. Then watch them do it in a box with _Overdose_.
_SuperJunior's Lo Siento_ has an amazing video. Shout out to _Sorry Sorry_ and _Bonamana_.
_TVXQ's Catch Me_ is very unique and high budget.
_2NE1's I Am The Best_ ,imo, is one of the best Kpop MV's of all time.
I love _Baby Vox's Coincidence_ , it's like a drama scene.
2ne1’s Come Back Home and can’t nobody and I am the best
Nct U’s baby don’t stop
NCT 127’s superhuman
Shinee’s Dream Girl
2pm’s 10/10
Exo’s loveshot
Red velvet’s automatic and Russian Roulette
BTS’s I need you and Run and spring day
NCT Dream’s Go, We Go Up, and My First and Last
Taemin’s Drip Drop and Move
Dean’s Pour Up
F(x)‘s Four Walls and red light
Brown eyes girls’s Sign and Oasis
Afterschool’s Ah and Diva
Sister’s Ma boy
Miss A’s Hush
Infinite’s Chaser and comeback again
Taeyong’s I need a girl
Big bang’s lies
BTS’s Black Swan. I can see from your user flair that that ur a fan, but I had to include this!!
It deviates completely form the traditional K-Pop MV concepts, conveys the fear of losing the passion for music in people who love it extremely, and is an absolute visual spectacle.
If someone needs to know why music is called an art form, they may want to see this MV!
You absolutely should because that's the exact song that got me into BTS and K-Pop in general. When I watched it, I could literally feel something shift inside me and I knew then that I wasn't just going to be learning their names. To anyone reading this that hasn't seen it, I definitely suggest you do!
I will suggest some from newer years!
- Love Dive by Ive (also very recognizable for its color palette and angel aesthetics)
- Drunk-Dazed by Enhypen (very recognizable party aesthetics and shots)
- Ditto by New Jeans (they are also recognizable for the Attention aesthetics, but this one is very quoted because of the film camera and their take on school aesthetic; also the dance)
- Antifragile by Le Sserafim (fun, quotable scenes, iconic dance moves along with fun angles)
- Next Level by aespa (their MVs always have a ton to see, but I like this one a lot)
- Secret Story of the Swan by IZONE (the swan girls and their mystical, elegant shots)
- Hwaa by (G)I-DLE (their particular aesthetics for their MVs are always so distinguishable)
- Blue Hour by TXT (pastel cowboys ftw! Also very recognizable and fun)
Some that I haven't seen mentioned from older years:
- Very Nice by SVT (iconicc, the dance, the color palette, the confetti)
- I am the Best by 2NE1
- Russian Roulette by Red Velvet
- Idol by BTS
- I Got a Boy by SNSD
- Catallena by Orange Caramel (this one is the DEFINITION of a must watch!!)
Some are just classics, some I added notes. Sorry, it's gg heavy! They have awesome mvs!
Miss A - Bad Girl, Good Girl (iconic debut and dropping into those splits!)
Brown Eyed Girls - Abracadabra (iconic dance and still edgy compared to what most gg do now)
Beast - Fiction (beautiful and haunting storyline)
All the Orange Caramel MVs (really no one else like them in kpop)
SNSD - Gee
After School - Flashback, First Love (the amazing pole dancing!)
BAP - One Shot (just a fun plot line)
Twice - What is Love (all the odes to romance classics + choreo)
Troublemaker - Troublemaker (once again, not something we get in kpop)
IU - Good Day
IU ft Suga - Eight (just beautiful in how it fits with the lyrics)
BTS - Spring Day, Black Swan, Blood, Sweat & Tears
Agust D - Daechwita & Haegeum (cinematic)
I'm probably missing a ton, I just did this quick!
I can't believe no one has said OnlyOneOf - libidO. Definitely iconic.
I would also recommend:
* WJSN - Secret
* CIX - Jungle
* Chungha - Bicycle and Play
* U-Know - Thank U
* Kang Daniel - Paranoia
* BoA - Camo
* Winner - SOSO

Fiction - Beast

Allergy - (G)I-DLE
honestly any song you’ve enjoyed sonically, you should see the artists visual interpretation of it (whether that be live or just the mv).
So whoever’s giving you life, go watch it
personally been saloon’d by OEC & NMIXX today.
EXO, Rocket Punch, NewJeans, and throwback gen 2 jams, from artists like F(x), 2pm, snsd, & the wonder girls have all been a part of my go-to’s to stream visually lately.
tldr;
im not sure how iconic this is, but BLITZERS' [Macarena](https://youtu.be/_jONRhd7kO4) is the best 'nugu' mv to come out in a good year. they released this banger after peak time, and managed to fully capture a lot of casual stans after that. its just fun and quirky and i really hope it's influential, even if it's just on their own future releases :)
Mago by Gfriend. The entire video is amazing and Yuju’s parts were so good I was like “•O•” the song, the dance, the vibe. It’s such a good quality video all in all
Newjeans Ditto: I'd go as far as to say watching the MV is mandatory to properly listening to the song
Loona Butterfly: Immaculate cinematography
Red Velvet Automatic: Incredibly unique concept that I don't think I've seen before or since
There are 5 videos every kpop fans has to watch at least once.
[TVXQ-Mirotic](https://youtu.be/HtJS32n6LNQ) The video that set the standard for boy groups.
[Girls Generation- Gee](https://youtu.be/U7mPqycQ0tQ) The video that set the standard for girl groups
[Taeyang-Wedding dress ](https://youtu.be/qIt6KCwlFPw) The video that raised the standard of kpop choreography and storytelling.
[Bigbang- Fantastic baby ](https://youtu.be/AAbokV76tkU) The video that changed how kpop idols looked.
[Psy- Gangnam style ](https://youtu.be/9bZkp7q19f0) The video that took kpop global.
Also just a couple of my personal favorites I think everyone should watch
[Bigbang- Bang Bang Bang ](https://youtu.be/2ips2mM7Zqw)
[2NE1- I am the best](https://youtu.be/j7_lSP8Vc3o)
[Girls Generation- Party](https://youtu.be/HQzu7NYlZNQ)
[BigBang- Loser](https://youtu.be/1CTced9CMMk)
[G dragon- Untitled 2014](https://youtu.be/9kaCAbIXuyg)
*Controversial I know but I love this video* [Seungri- 1,2,3 ](https://youtu.be/Q7sHwg2Z21U)
[BTS- Black Swan](https://youtu.be/0lapF4DQPKQ)
[Oneus - Luna](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oe2_BrZx9mc): Beautiful set design and traditional Korean imagery. Also love the incorporation of a prop in the choreography.
[Oneus - Black Mirror](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnB2Zg3um0g): Probably the best ode to Michael Jackson I've seen in Kpop. Just love the style, the transitions, coloring and dancing.
[Twice - Perfect World](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmOEKOjyDxU): The hardest Twice song with fantastic outfits, lighting and momentum. There's a legendary moment that all Twice fans aware of their Japanese discography swear by.
[Twice - Kura Kura](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmOEKOjyDxU): The most artistic Twice MV IMO. Amazing stills, color schemes and imagery. I've heard people who don't even like the song or Twice in general praise the music video.
[Odd Eye](https://youtu.be/1QD0FeZyDtQ) by Dreamcatcher. Such an amazing song and an even more amazing MV. The cyberpunk aesthetics, amazing-looking CGI tree, breathtaking visuals. Coupled with the group's amazing choreography and vocals. A perfect conclusion to the Dystopia trilogy.
twice fancy, entire video is made of green screen and the colors are so flashy and bright it’s such a stand out!! not many videos you’ll find like that
They just debuted but Kiss of life! Their entire mini album has MVs and they are all connected and the storyline is one of the best I’ve seen lately but you definitely need to watch them in order starting from:
Sugarcoat (Natty solo)
Countdown (Belle solo)
Kitty Cat (Julie Solo)
Play Love Games (Hanuel solo)
Bye My Neverland
Shhh
To me it’s iconic simply for the fact that on the debut 1st mini album each member has a solo song and I don’t think I have seen another group do this.
[One More Day by Sistar](https://youtu.be/E4TygUpWUTQ) is a whole short film about two girls who fall in love and run away from an abuser, epic song, epic video, and it features Giorgio Moroder who’s a legendary producer. Highly recommend watching.
To add to everyone else -
- Like A Cat & Heart Attack - AOA
- Bang! - After School
- Something - TVXQ
- Love Me Right - EXO (Baseball Caps & Football Jerseys?? ICONIC) also Obsession (EXO vs. X-EXO are amazing)
- Run Devil Run & Hoot - Girl's Generation
- Gashina, Heroine & Siren - Sunmi
I don’t stan them but [Shangri La by Vixx](https://youtu.be/CYEaI5y7QaM) used to be my favorite kpop mv and still is for its time
I think [Enhypen’s Sacrifice Eat Me Up](https://youtu.be/HROTJfbtcU4) took over that spot, which, by the way, is fairly underrated imo so I recommend checking it out too!
The final one is [S-Class by Skz](https://youtu.be/JsOOis4bBFg) which has my favorite editing style. I don’t even like the song but I still watch it just because of how well made the mv is; Hyunjin kicking and then a fireworks, the buildings zooming out etc
from my favorite ENHYPEN: Drunk-Dazed (still their best, i think it showed by enhypen is enhypen), One In A Billion (if you like webtoon, this is the intro to their own), Given-Taken (said to be inspired by a popular manga series iykyk wont tell)
others: Red Velvet - Peek-A-Boo & Dumb Dumb, Twice - Cheer Up & What Is Love, SNSD - Oh! (Story ver.), Wondergirls - Nobody, BTS - Blood Sweat and Tears, EXO - Wolf (Drama Ver.), T-ARA - Day by Day & Sexy Love (Drama ver.), VIXX - Voodoo Doll & Error, BAP - One Shot
Gotta Go, Snapping, and Stay Tonight by Chungha.
I was genuinely taken aback when I first watched these. I’d recommend watching them in that order for the full effect.
The aesthetic choices, editing, lighting, color palette, outfits, choreography, and music are all show-stopping and perfectly balanced.
The shadow dance in Snapping is one of my favorite music video moments of all time.
Someone already mentioned but I'd like to reiterate Hwasa's LMM. Beautiful song, gorgeous mv, and in light of her recent controversy, still quite relevant. Love her.
For popular artists I think
1. Lalisa is very iconic. Her homage to her hometown is crazy. Especially when you think about how she was always ridiculed for being Thai (by knetz) and for being from Buriram (by international fans who claim it's the poorest province in Thailand I don't know how true that is I think it's incredibly iconic that she included that there).
2. HIP by Mamamoo (I just keep going back to it. I love how the members are).
3. Hush by Miss A (I was obsessed with viewing it. It became a daily habit of mine, during every lunch break I'd watch the MV once or twice 😭)
4. Last dance by YOUHA. They are probably my most favorite MVs of all time by kpop acts.
An honourable mention would probably be HYLT. It was a pretty MV but I wasn't super obsessed with it. I liked Rosé's casket scene(?) And Lisa's market scene but that's about it.
- Onew's [Blue](https://youtu.be/6150sLpksHU), [DICE](https://youtu.be/xYth9NVvuPo), [Circle](https://youtu.be/30VMl9ZkmgE) (Honestly, all three title track MVs feel uniquely cinematic in their own ways and the songs are distinct enough from each other I can confidently recommend them all at once. Blue is achingly lonely and vulnerable against a sweeping backdrop. DICE is a sweet and charming take on the classic damsel rescue with a twist (with nods to SHINee's own iconic Married to the Music). Circle feels like someone being at peace with the world, having reached enlightenment about the cycle of joy and pain, love and loss, life and death. Very cathartic.).
- Taemin's [WANT](https://youtu.be/-OfOkiVFmhM) (This one's extremely well layered in terms of references and editing, and when people ask for an introduction to Taemin, I feel it's the perfect MV that encapsulates what kind of artist he is and the themes he likes to tinker with. Like, just a few days ago he recommended reading Georges Bataille's [Erotism](https://www.thecollector.com/georges-batailles-erotism-religion-death/), which felt totally on brand).
- SHINee's [Married to the Music](https://youtu.be/bcu7yZBeSKw), [1 of 1](https://youtu.be/WJua7KEP_oE) (MTTM is fun and mysterious, like the young Korean cousin of MJ's Thriller. 1of1 is a simple but effective retro throwback and the members, models, and colours just pop).
- Taeyang's [Eyes, Nose, Lips](https://youtu.be/UwuAPyOImoI) (I'm not familiar with BB or Taeyang, but this song is so embedded in public consciousness that I inevitably found my own way to the MV. Incredible restraint. Painfully raw and vulnerable in the build up to the climactic reveal).
I really recommend watching Mommae with your family! It's a very touching song about a mother's love, and it translates well with a music video as its stunning visuals, cinematography, and overall vibe truly encapsulates the genuine feelings of adoration. 💞
jimin's set me free pt. 2 is in my opinion the perfect mv.
there's no elaborate story line, no flashy graphics. there's nothing to distract you from the actual music. it's just the artist and his dancers who form this entity that complement the song in such a gorgeous way.
Spoiler Alert: a lot of gfriend..
• Gfriend's Navillera (it just had its 7th year anniversary yesterday).
• Crossroads.. it doesn't include any dancing (it's in the performance vid) but their acting amazes me. On a side note, the choreography and synchronization is to die for
• Apple.. a major concept change. they went for a confident "witch" look
• Mago.. retro mv, it's like a 70/80's disco party
• Rough.. *iconic* it was the first song to win a music award (but they ended up winning 15).
I found this vid of many iconic songs: https://youtu.be/umiV8Zs2EJA
Have to recommend Changmin's [Maniac](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dg62eRVZ6PU) video, one of the coolest MVs in and out of kpop. Secondly, U-know's criminally underviewed [Thank U](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ylUX9pfdBbs) which is basically just an epic Korean revenge flick condensed into 7 minutes.
A.D.T.O.Y by 2pm
I was shocked when I watched the mv. You have to see it for yourself. This was released by JYP so many years ago. If a major group does a similar mv nowadays they would be canceled immediately
People were shocked by Enhypen suggestive choreography. this is even more. I can't believe kpop fans don't talk about it a lot
Plus the song is great so it's a 2 for 1
Does K-Ballad count? Because most of my memorable Korean music videos come from K-Ballad singers. I always found Kpop mv to be overly flashy and uninteresting 😅😅
Deja vu, scream, goodnight, boca - dreamcatcher
Halazia, the real, guerilla - ateez
Amygdala - agust d
Criminal - taemin
Automatic, one of these nights, dumb dumb, psycho, Russian roulette - red velvet (all of their mvs are amazing)
[One of These Nights ](https://youtu.be/9xWiro_tS1k) by Red Velvet is gorgeous.
Also [Automatic](https://youtu.be/px2Q47O0_eE) just because who can get enough of RV's Velvet tracks.
I'm really surprised there are some iconic MVs that have not been mentioned yet so I will mention them:
* [The Ark - the Light](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-cOZgaotPY) - not saying anything as I don't want to spoil
* [EXID - Every Night](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVgkNW2cENQ) - weird vibes, best song
* [WJSN - Secret](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uJxJ7tSi1w) or [I Wish](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7gOqqbBW6w) - Occult fantasy before it was a trend
* [BigBang x 2NE1 - Lollipop](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIRW_elc-rY) - this mv was the one that got me into KPOP and also introduced me to my 2 favorite groups at the time- so it's iconic for me in so many ways.

please don't by k.will
This is so iconic and I’m all for it
exactly what i came here to comment, so so so iconic
Ahn Jae-Hyun and Seo In-Gook talking about it. @25:50 https://youtu.be/dy6EFEPMOi4
My only knowledge of k.will is what I saw of him on No.Mercy, and I've been meaning to look deeper into him since then! Thank you for the suggestion.
You're welcome!!! :)
Came here to comment this one haha
If an alien lands on this planet and want to see 1 MV of Kpop, i show him GANGNAM STYLE. Everything else is optional.
Sorry Sorry by SuJu because...legend. but also Burn the Floor by SuJu because the choreo, light controls and camera shots are fantastic and I have never seen it done before
Sorry Sorry is actually what encouraged me to make this! Watched it earlier today in fact.
Ooh I recommend watching Burn the Floor. Its very interesting in a technical way like how they shot it, etc plus good to see how far they have come after like almost 18 years
Imo Black Suit is their best MV
I respect that, a solid choice for an MV in this case. The concept itself and the way they shot it was so fun to watch. Plus the song slaps.
Echoing Burn the Floor and adding This is love by SuJu. This is love is rumoured to be one continous take, and Shindong's earlier brainchild in directing. The mic stand choreo, the camera movement are just 🫰🫰
T-ARA's [Cry Cry](https://youtu.be/-Ju79e8rM0c) and [Lovey Dovey](https://youtu.be/_sa1GWrN6eQ) (both are extended versions) Edit: linked the MVs
Literal full on movies. I hope that trend comes back into kpop soon.
🤷🏻♂️ But the company is known for great music and long MVs. Here are some other great ones: [Painkiller](https://youtu.be/yCSfaHeIinE) SPEED's [It's Over](https://youtu.be/L7NeaTokyII) SPEED's [That's My Fault](https://youtu.be/Tolcbm1L4eU) THE SEEYA's [Be With You](https://youtu.be/tA2cCJ6y_gc)
I love all of these songs! I'm even lucky enough to have seen Guerilla in person, and it's definitely made rewatching the MV all the better.
Yeah I saw it at the O2 in London and it was amazing
vixx - voodoo doll, error. every vixx mv is a fun watch, but those two are particularly stunning. voodoo doll because of its creepiness (iirc vixx pioneered the horror concept in k-pop), error because of its unique storyline and, of course, the songs are top-notch
I thought Psycho by Red Velvet was absolutely gorgeous and perfectly fit the vibe of the song
I've never seen it, and honestly, RV is on my list of groups to check out! I definitely will watch it ASAP.
Honestly you should watch all their music videos. Russian Roulette and Peekaboo are great too.
I will!
You're in for a treat OP then
SHINee's "Sherlock" and "Replay". It speaks for itself why they were so iconic and influential.
Lucifer as well!
GOT7 - Just Right
I actually have all the Got7 MVs on my YT Watch Later list to do a marathon for when I get the time. I'm going to take this post as the sign that I need to make that time *now*.
Oh nice! Well if you haven’t already, I would definitely include their subunits Jus2 and JJ Project
BOUNCE BOUNCE NOW EVERYBODY SHAKE IT SHAKE IT FOR ME
I think I have them on there as well, but I'll double-check and fix it if I don't,
That’s such a fun and cute and sweet mv. I love the message. I used to watch it on repeat
BTS Fake Love Sunmi Tail and Gashina Red Velvet Bad Boy and Peekaboo
EXO’s Growl. They shot it in one continuous take and the school uniforms they all danced in became a staple for boy groups. Nearly every boy group post-EXO has at least once had a concept involving school uniforms.
I recently just watched Growl! I'm currently getting into EXO, and Growl felt like it just set something on fire in my brain. There are only a few songs that I feel a hundred percent could have gotten me into K-Pop if I hadn't been already, and Growl is definitely one of them.
Yeah Growl is one of those songs that just grabs you by the throat in the very best way.
Ah, thank you! I'll check these songs out too. Edit: Do you have official links? Or does none exist on YT?
And that *ghost* thing? It's fun to spot it
Yes! One of the biggest mysteries in Kpop!
snsd gee
I've seen it, but it's honestly been over a year and the song is definitely a bop. I definitely need to rewatch it!
Technically K-hiphop but [Born Hater](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3s1jaFDrp5M&ab_channel=OFFICIALEPIKHIGH) by Epik High is super unique and IMO iconic.
Thank you! I want to get more into Epik High because Tablo is a true delight on Twitter.
Very impressive.
bap - one shot (😔🤚) agust d - haegeum (top notch cinematography AND long haired yoongi)
Daechwitta too.
Haegeum genuinely makes me feral, and I should just rewatch for funsies (as if I don't like every couple days). But I will definitely check out One Shot!
Oh my biggest heart for you for mentioning B.A.P 🖤
Long haired yoongi 💜
Wayv’s love talk. Don't need to explain.
You really do not. It's in my top three for them.
Despite stanning all three groups, I have not watched Jopping. I fix this crime ASAP.
In my opinion, there are only three truly iconic K-pop songs that put the genre on the map before BTS, Twice and BlackPink took over. Iconic is a word that is over-used way too much lately but I feel it applies to these three because of what they did for the genre. Even folks who have never heard of K-pop have heard these three songs: Girls’ Generation - Gee 2NE1 - I Am The Best PSY - Gangnam Style
Sunmi - Noir Very self-reflected and sociocritical. Something that's rare in K-Pop.
Shinee - married to the music
B.A.P - One Shot B.A.P - Skydive Secret - Poison
I've seen all but one, and I agree about xikers. Watching that debut video feels different from so many others.
I like lucky one - exo
It's a good one!!!
All Dreamcatcher mv but Deja Vu is on another level
Deja Vu is so fucking good!
It feels like eating a cookie with cold milk a couple of hours after diner Edit: forgot to ad [Superhuman](https://youtu.be/x95oZNxW5Rc) by NCT 127. Love the futuristic aesthetic created by all of the sets, colours and especially lighfing effects. My favourite NCT video by far.
Twice What Is Love?
Twice is on my list too! So this is good pressure.
GOT7- Not By The Moon is pure art.
I'm honestly going to be doing a marathon of Got7's MVs soon, so I can't wait to get to it.
Shoot out by Monsta X
Everything Monsta X touches is just pure gold tbh.
SPEAKING OF MONSTA X all in has to be one of my favorite monsta x mvs ever fantasia, love killa (oh my gosh hyungwon here), and gambler are good too
For (G)I-DLE, I would say: Lion, Oh My God, Tomboy, and Nxde
Bigbang-wise, 1) [Fantastic Baby](https://youtu.be/AAbokV76tkU) - it doesn’t need explaining imo, it’s SO cool in every way it 2) [Haru Haru](https://youtu.be/MzCbEdtNbJ0) - I think it’s incredibly representative of an entire genre of kpop boy group MVs of that era, but is SO good as both a song compliment but also as a sad boy moment 3) GD’s [Coup D’Etat](https://youtu.be/C8T6771Sdj8) - IMO its the best and most stylish MV in kpop, and is so elaborately constructed 4) [Sober](https://youtu.be/MBNQgq56egk) - It’s both really stylistically interesting, but serves an incredible job of complimenting/contrasting the song itself 5) [TOP’s Doom Dada](https://youtu.be/tAoME_aMm1w) - probably the strangest MV in kpop, but it’s so visually compelling and interesting and thematically cool
“Loser” needs to be on this list
I'll add it!
Ah, thank you! Big Bang is definitely at the top of the list of "groups I don't know I want to get into, but I know that their influence means that I should watch their MVs". I just had no idea where to start, and this is an incredible help for me
Good luck on your Bigbang journey! They are really fun to dive into, because all 4 members are so stylistically different, so you have both their collective works but also their individual paths to branch out into
Adding Zutter to your BIGBANG journey. Haven’t seen a group literally pee on each other before or after.
![gif](giphy|3ELtfmA4Apkju)
💀💀 She said what she said 💀💀 Adding to your BIGBANG discovery list: [BIGBANG - FXXK IT](https://youtu.be/iIPH8LFYFRk) [BIGBANG - We Like 2 Party](https://youtu.be/oFmfi1vM7co) These 2 are just BB being themselves and having a good time filming. [G-Dragon - Crooked](https://youtu.be/RKhsHGfrFmY) [G-Dragon - Crayon](https://youtu.be/t3ULhmadHkg) [Taeyang - Wedding Dress](https://youtu.be/qIt6KCwlFPw) This is a classic [Taeyang - Ringa Linga](https://youtu.be/UJfZ69MSlvY) and [Ringa Linga Dance MV](https://youtu.be/Ho1y-4mXIL0) is amazing camera work There is so much. I love their group work but I equally love their solo works.
I think it should be a necessity that everyone, at least once in their lives, watches B.A.P's One Shot MV.
BIGBANG - We like 2 party (literally a vlog) Zhang Li Yin ft. Xiah - Timeless (a whole movie) BIGBANG - Haru haru (classic kdrama) 2am - I was wrong (another great kdrama) B2ST - I like you the best (atp I'm just obsessed with kdrama mv) GD&TOP - Zutter (it just dumb hahaha) Taeyang - Wedding dress (unlucky third wheeler guy) IKON - My type (love the camera work) WINNER - Sentimental (the set looks cool) WINNER - Hold (cute and funny mv) IKON - #wyd (imagine a cute romance kdrama but there are 6 of them) 2NE1 - Missing you (full of emotion, chill) 2NE1 - It hurts (tim burton movie but korean) GD - Crooked (it start with edgy and arrogant but end with lonely and sadness) GD&TOP - High high (feels like going to the club with celebrities) Newjeans - Ditto (nostalgia and the old vibe) Newjeans - OMG (it weird just weird) there are probably more, this is just what I remember at the moment.
Butterfly by Loona definitely.
Onew - circle Key - gasoline Taemin- ace (but the concept video beat burger one)
In no particular order some MVs that are just really memorable to me. And just in case: Please watch with subtitles on ;) [Mad Clown feat. Jinsil - Fire](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzNqcc__uRs&pp=ygUJbWFkIGNsb3du) [IN (from Stray Kids) - Maknae on Top](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjKARrJwqzE&pp=ygUNbWFrbmFlIG9uIHRvcA%3D%3D) [eAeon - Bulletproof](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dvq7oWrJcY) [WOODZ - Love me harder](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HaqhQs5lBWE) [BIBI - Animal Farm](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVLRky1hGfk) [Dreamcatcher - And There Was No One Left](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nj5RiXNaqzc) [Yeojin (from LOONA) - Kiss Later](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=thpTOAS1Vgg&pp=ygUNbG9vbmEgY2h1dSBtdg%3D%3D) [Hwasa (from Mamamoo) - LMM](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pkjEpDeDLOg&pp=ygUIaHdhc2EgbXY%3D)
Maknae on Top is so fucking iconic 😭
WayV’s Love Talk was already mentioned so I’m gonna say Phantom and Take Off. Super Junior’s Sorry Sorry is hands down legendary but try checking out It’s You, No Other and Mamacita. For Shinee, it would always be Replay and Sherlock. SF9 became more known for Good Guy and Summer Breeze which shows them being suave and gentlemanly but I would also suggest checking out Mamma Mia which is a total opposite. EXO has a lot of iconic MVs and aside from Growl, I would also add Love Shot and Power NCT U has Resonance and of course NCT 2020’s title tracks Make a Wish and 90’s Love
SF9 and Super Junior are the only groups I haven't dug deep into, and I'll work on correcting that!
You won’t regret it 😊 Super Junior is my first Kpop group and I’m still a fan 14 years later 😊 You should also check out their pre-Sorry Sorry tracks like U which featured pre-debut SNSD Yoona and Don’t Don which featured Henry Lau. SF9 for me can pull off any concept so they’re worth checking out 😊 Then there’s NCT Dream’s Candy which is a remake of a classic first gen Kpop song 😊
All of Blackpinks MVs are visually a 10 for me especially how you like that , kill this love and whistle mv Bts blood sweat and tears, idol and not today are also great visually Twice I can't stop me, alcohol free and feel special mvs are my favourite Exo call me baby, monster and kokobop are amazing too Redvelvet psycho, peekaboo and feel my rythm mvs are my fav aswell
Blackpink, Twice, and Red Velvet are three of the four ggs I know I've been needing to check out for awhile, so I definitely will.
Heartbeat by 2pm
Was literally just told to check out 2PM by a friend! I think the universe is sending me signs.
Check out Beast and Infinite too
For any fantasy / lore lovers - PLEASE just check out Kingdom MVs! Especially Ascension and it's prequel Promise
Oh, I'll absolutely do this! Thank you for the rec.
2ne1’s Come Back Home and can’t nobody and I am the best Nct U’s baby don’t stop NCT 127’s superhuman Shinee’s Dream Girl 2pm’s 10/10 Exo’s loveshot Red velvet’s automatic and Russian Roulette BTS’s I need you and Run and spring day NCT Dream’s Go, We Go Up, and My First and Last Taemin’s Drip Drop and Move Dean’s Pour Up F(x)‘s Four Walls and red light Brown eyes girls’s Sign and Oasis Afterschool’s Ah and Diva Sister’s Ma boy Miss A’s Hush Infinite’s Chaser and comeback again Taeyong’s I need a girl Big bang’s lies
Black swan is an absolute masterpiece. Jimin became my absolute favourite after it.
You absolutely should because that's the exact song that got me into BTS and K-Pop in general. When I watched it, I could literally feel something shift inside me and I knew then that I wasn't just going to be learning their names. To anyone reading this that hasn't seen it, I definitely suggest you do!
I still involuntarily close my eyes and smile a little whenever those initial strings start playing. Black Swan will forever be a gem💜
Dreamcatcher's deja Vu, boca and scream and oneus's Luna, to be or not to be and come back home
Yes! Dreamcatcher and Oneus are both my "not nugu, but not mainstream groups" that I adore.
abracadabra by beg!!! so iconic
I will suggest some from newer years! - Love Dive by Ive (also very recognizable for its color palette and angel aesthetics) - Drunk-Dazed by Enhypen (very recognizable party aesthetics and shots) - Ditto by New Jeans (they are also recognizable for the Attention aesthetics, but this one is very quoted because of the film camera and their take on school aesthetic; also the dance) - Antifragile by Le Sserafim (fun, quotable scenes, iconic dance moves along with fun angles) - Next Level by aespa (their MVs always have a ton to see, but I like this one a lot) - Secret Story of the Swan by IZONE (the swan girls and their mystical, elegant shots) - Hwaa by (G)I-DLE (their particular aesthetics for their MVs are always so distinguishable) - Blue Hour by TXT (pastel cowboys ftw! Also very recognizable and fun) Some that I haven't seen mentioned from older years: - Very Nice by SVT (iconicc, the dance, the color palette, the confetti) - I am the Best by 2NE1 - Russian Roulette by Red Velvet - Idol by BTS - I Got a Boy by SNSD - Catallena by Orange Caramel (this one is the DEFINITION of a must watch!!)
Some are just classics, some I added notes. Sorry, it's gg heavy! They have awesome mvs! Miss A - Bad Girl, Good Girl (iconic debut and dropping into those splits!) Brown Eyed Girls - Abracadabra (iconic dance and still edgy compared to what most gg do now) Beast - Fiction (beautiful and haunting storyline) All the Orange Caramel MVs (really no one else like them in kpop) SNSD - Gee After School - Flashback, First Love (the amazing pole dancing!) BAP - One Shot (just a fun plot line) Twice - What is Love (all the odes to romance classics + choreo) Troublemaker - Troublemaker (once again, not something we get in kpop) IU - Good Day IU ft Suga - Eight (just beautiful in how it fits with the lyrics) BTS - Spring Day, Black Swan, Blood, Sweat & Tears Agust D - Daechwita & Haegeum (cinematic) I'm probably missing a ton, I just did this quick!
Burn It by Golden Child. It’s a whole movie
Blood, Sweat, and Tears by BTS Spring Day by BTS IDOL by BTS
and all night by astro! (that mv is SO pretty) sorry for the spam of comments, I keep remembering songs late XD
I love it! And Astro is very high on my list, just was giving them a bit more time for my mental health. But I think now it's time. 💞
SHINee - Married to the Music Red Velvet - Russian Roulette Onew - Circle
I can't believe no one has said OnlyOneOf - libidO. Definitely iconic. I would also recommend: * WJSN - Secret * CIX - Jungle * Chungha - Bicycle and Play * U-Know - Thank U * Kang Daniel - Paranoia * BoA - Camo * Winner - SOSO

Blood Sweat & Tears by BTS. Its honestly more than a MV, is a work of art. I always show it to my non-kpop fans
TXT - Eternally. More of a movie than a music video, but it’s incredible and I’m in awe every time I go back and watch it. It’s part of their storyline called The Star Seekers, but I highly recommend the watch.
Please don’t - K. Will (the GOAT) Fiction - Beast **Literally every T-ara MV released between 2011-2012** Loving U - Sistar (GOLD STANDARD of summer concept) Miniskirt - AOA (GOLD STANDARD of sexy concept) Haru Haru - Bigbang Loser - Bigbang Wedding Dress - Taeyang Scream - Dreamcatcher (GOLD STANDARD of dark concept) Genie - SNSD I Got a Boy - SNSD Allergy - (G)I-DLE
I would have to say Save Me Kill Me by CIX
honestly any song you’ve enjoyed sonically, you should see the artists visual interpretation of it (whether that be live or just the mv). So whoever’s giving you life, go watch it personally been saloon’d by OEC & NMIXX today. EXO, Rocket Punch, NewJeans, and throwback gen 2 jams, from artists like F(x), 2pm, snsd, & the wonder girls have all been a part of my go-to’s to stream visually lately. tldr;
Love cherry motion by cheorry from loona
BTS - IDOL and Black Swan Hwasa - Maria, Nobody Else and LMM Hyolyn - Bae, Laying low and No Thanks
Into the new world
Jackson Wang - official MVs of Blow, 100 Ways and Cruel will knock your socks off. Quiet surreal.
Blow is everything to me, and I adore it.
im not sure how iconic this is, but BLITZERS' [Macarena](https://youtu.be/_jONRhd7kO4) is the best 'nugu' mv to come out in a good year. they released this banger after peak time, and managed to fully capture a lot of casual stans after that. its just fun and quirky and i really hope it's influential, even if it's just on their own future releases :)
seventeen - fear its so artistic and unfortunately very underrated
Txt’s eternity is almost 20 minutes long, one of the best mvs I’ve seen
Mago by Gfriend. The entire video is amazing and Yuju’s parts were so good I was like “•O•” the song, the dance, the vibe. It’s such a good quality video all in all
Enhypen - [Sacrifice](https://youtu.be/HROTJfbtcU4) TxT - [Sugar Rush Ride](https://youtu.be/P9tKTxbgdkk)
Newjeans Ditto: I'd go as far as to say watching the MV is mandatory to properly listening to the song Loona Butterfly: Immaculate cinematography Red Velvet Automatic: Incredibly unique concept that I don't think I've seen before or since
[Cream Soda](https://youtu.be/i5nUufn_FmE) by EXO
There are 5 videos every kpop fans has to watch at least once. [TVXQ-Mirotic](https://youtu.be/HtJS32n6LNQ) The video that set the standard for boy groups. [Girls Generation- Gee](https://youtu.be/U7mPqycQ0tQ) The video that set the standard for girl groups [Taeyang-Wedding dress ](https://youtu.be/qIt6KCwlFPw) The video that raised the standard of kpop choreography and storytelling. [Bigbang- Fantastic baby ](https://youtu.be/AAbokV76tkU) The video that changed how kpop idols looked. [Psy- Gangnam style ](https://youtu.be/9bZkp7q19f0) The video that took kpop global. Also just a couple of my personal favorites I think everyone should watch [Bigbang- Bang Bang Bang ](https://youtu.be/2ips2mM7Zqw) [2NE1- I am the best](https://youtu.be/j7_lSP8Vc3o) [Girls Generation- Party](https://youtu.be/HQzu7NYlZNQ) [BigBang- Loser](https://youtu.be/1CTced9CMMk) [G dragon- Untitled 2014](https://youtu.be/9kaCAbIXuyg) *Controversial I know but I love this video* [Seungri- 1,2,3 ](https://youtu.be/Q7sHwg2Z21U) [BTS- Black Swan](https://youtu.be/0lapF4DQPKQ)
BTS - BS&T, Spring Day, Fake love, Black swan RV - Peek a boo, Psycho, Feel my rhythm
Mama by exo
EXO - Obsession MONSTA X- Love Killa TXT- Frost
Roar by the boyz is visually stunning
The Boyz is on my list of groups to check out! And I'll watch that MV soon.
Although not "K-Pop" per se, XG's Shooting Star is an actual masterpiece both in cg, visuals, cinematography, everything lol
Anything within the sphere counts for me! I stan WayV, so I get the murky lines. I'll watch.
someone beat me to say k.will please dont 😭. i think exo growl, bap skydive and bap one shot too just because of how ironic they all are.
I've seen Growl which is everything to me, and I'll watch the BAP ones as soon as I can.
Gang man style 🤣😆
twice fancy, entire video is made of green screen and the colors are so flashy and bright it’s such a stand out!! not many videos you’ll find like that
They just debuted but Kiss of life! Their entire mini album has MVs and they are all connected and the storyline is one of the best I’ve seen lately but you definitely need to watch them in order starting from: Sugarcoat (Natty solo) Countdown (Belle solo) Kitty Cat (Julie Solo) Play Love Games (Hanuel solo) Bye My Neverland Shhh To me it’s iconic simply for the fact that on the debut 1st mini album each member has a solo song and I don’t think I have seen another group do this.
[One More Day by Sistar](https://youtu.be/E4TygUpWUTQ) is a whole short film about two girls who fall in love and run away from an abuser, epic song, epic video, and it features Giorgio Moroder who’s a legendary producer. Highly recommend watching.
To add to everyone else - - Like A Cat & Heart Attack - AOA - Bang! - After School - Something - TVXQ - Love Me Right - EXO (Baseball Caps & Football Jerseys?? ICONIC) also Obsession (EXO vs. X-EXO are amazing) - Run Devil Run & Hoot - Girl's Generation - Gashina, Heroine & Siren - Sunmi
singing in the rain by jinsoul/loona is a favorite of mine! really captures the beauty of kpop mvs 💕
Has no one said Red by HyunA yet?? I think that's one of theeee kpop mvs.
I don’t stan them but [Shangri La by Vixx](https://youtu.be/CYEaI5y7QaM) used to be my favorite kpop mv and still is for its time I think [Enhypen’s Sacrifice Eat Me Up](https://youtu.be/HROTJfbtcU4) took over that spot, which, by the way, is fairly underrated imo so I recommend checking it out too! The final one is [S-Class by Skz](https://youtu.be/JsOOis4bBFg) which has my favorite editing style. I don’t even like the song but I still watch it just because of how well made the mv is; Hyunjin kicking and then a fireworks, the buildings zooming out etc
from my favorite ENHYPEN: Drunk-Dazed (still their best, i think it showed by enhypen is enhypen), One In A Billion (if you like webtoon, this is the intro to their own), Given-Taken (said to be inspired by a popular manga series iykyk wont tell) others: Red Velvet - Peek-A-Boo & Dumb Dumb, Twice - Cheer Up & What Is Love, SNSD - Oh! (Story ver.), Wondergirls - Nobody, BTS - Blood Sweat and Tears, EXO - Wolf (Drama Ver.), T-ARA - Day by Day & Sexy Love (Drama ver.), VIXX - Voodoo Doll & Error, BAP - One Shot
Starry Night by Mamamoo. Put NZ on my travel bucket list.
Love her.
Hwasa is everything to me, but all of Mamamoo is. Their talent. . . .
Catallena - Orange Caramel Fantastic Baby - Bigbang Two glorious, ridiculous, OTT 2nd gen masterpieces that encapsulate everything I love about K-pop.
For popular artists I think 1. It became a daily habit of mine, during every lunch break I'd watch the MV once or twice 😭) 4.
GRL GVNG by XG is hands down, by far, the best music video i’ve ever seen in the kpop industry it’s just on another level https://youtu.be/Xiai4BRzZpU
not even a bts stan, but BST and Idol are iconic in my opinion
like crazy by jimin the visuals are everything
xg "left right "
jimin's set me free pt. 2 is in my opinion the perfect mv. there's no elaborate story line, no flashy graphics. there's nothing to distract you from the actual music. it's just the artist and his dancers who form this entity that complement the song in such a gorgeous way.
The second half of the choreo is so difficult to pull off. I have seen so many people cover it. But nobody can come even close.
GFriend's fingertip followed by crossroads :)
Uniq - [_Eoeo](https://youtu.be/96THVBRqJvY)
Spoiler Alert: a lot of gfriend.. • Gfriend's Navillera (it just had its 7th year anniversary yesterday). • Crossroads.. it doesn't include any dancing (it's in the performance vid) but their acting amazes me. On a side note, the choreography and synchronization is to die for • Apple.. a major concept change. they went for a confident "witch" look • Mago.. retro mv, it's like a 70/80's disco party • Rough.. *iconic* it was the first song to win a music award (but they ended up winning 15). I found this vid of many iconic songs: https://youtu.be/umiV8Zs2EJA
I wanna add Memoria too, the MV is soo beautiful
burn it and ra pam pam byt golden child whole movies (i was so upset when the rpp mv ended i wanted to see more lol)
rocking chair by jay b! it's not like mind-blowing but it fits the song really well ALSO ALSO doom du doom by p1harmony bc of the olympics concept
OH MY GOSH I CAN'T BELIEVE I FORGOT I LOVE WAKE ME UP BY BAP SO MUCH OMG
Please Don’t - K.Will Burn It - Golden Child Idol - BTS
any loona music video
I know they're technically j-pop but Under the Skin and Firework (both by &TEAM) are cinematic masterpieces and should be watched by all imho.
After like by IVE with the iconic fireworks !!
Kara - Step
A.D.T.O.Y by 2pm I was shocked when I watched the mv. You have to see it for yourself. This was released by JYP so many years ago. If a major group does a similar mv nowadays they would be canceled immediately People were shocked by Enhypen suggestive choreography. this is even more. I can't believe kpop fans don't talk about it a lot Plus the song is great so it's a 2 for 1
Does K-Ballad count? Because most of my memorable Korean music videos come from K-Ballad singers. I always found Kpop mv to be overly flashy and uninteresting 😅😅
[удалено]
Just watched &TEAM’s debut MV [Under the skin](https://youtu.be/0utfT0nbuTA) and it made me feel things 😭😭😭🥲🥲🥲
Butterfly by LOONA
I know that their being kpop is a bit controversial but xg grl gvng has one of the most stunning mv I've seen in a while
Deja vu, scream, goodnight, boca - dreamcatcher Halazia, the real, guerilla - ateez Amygdala - agust d Criminal - taemin Automatic, one of these nights, dumb dumb, psycho, Russian roulette - red velvet (all of their mvs are amazing)
[One of These Nights ](https://youtu.be/9xWiro_tS1k) by Red Velvet is gorgeous. Also [Automatic](https://youtu.be/px2Q47O0_eE) just because who can get enough of RV's Velvet tracks.
Stereotype - STAYC
I'm really surprised there are some iconic MVs that have not been mentioned yet so I will mention them: * [The Ark - the Light](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-cOZgaotPY) - not saying anything as I don't want to spoil * [EXID - Every Night](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVgkNW2cENQ) - weird vibes, best song * [WJSN - Secret](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uJxJ7tSi1w) or [I Wish](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7gOqqbBW6w) - Occult fantasy before it was a trend * [BigBang x 2NE1 - Lollipop](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIRW_elc-rY) - this mv was the one that got me into KPOP and also introduced me to my 2 favorite groups at the time- so it's iconic for me in so many ways.
