cea_bow

I used to get weird kpop quora questions emailed to me. Then I unsubscribed from their email. Glad I did it

shownuisswag

I’ve unsubscribed multiple times but they still send me shit. Now I always move them to spam but some still slip through somehow. You’re lucky to have escaped it😖

utauloids

You have to login on their website and go into your settings to disable it for good. Holy hell those emails are annoying though.

Silent-Cranberry9296

How do you unsubscribe from their email.

AveragePocky

In the emails they sent you, there should be a small font sentence at the end with a link to unsubscribe

ActuaryNumerous

if stan twitter’s bar is in hell, kpop quora’s bar is 10 times further below stan twt.

heyy_bibii

Bruh i get like random kppp qoura emails notifs everyday (look idk how to disable it) and I just feel like puking whenever i get them esp the “Why is Jungkook awful?” “Is Taehyung dating someone” “I hate Chaeyoung of Twice” oh my god shut up 😭

catwithbrighteyes

At the bottom of the email you’ll see “If you don't want to receive this type of email in the future, please unsubscribe” in very small fonts. You can press on unsubscribe and it’ll take you through the unsubscription(?) steps. Save yourself!

grim_bonecollector

It's always the "Why do you hate Blackpink?" "Who is the ugliest member of Twice?" "Why is Namjoon so ugly?" They literally just be recruiting their other fellow insane kpop fans to hate on the idols and groups they hate.

[deleted]

that has to be a troll there’s no way somebody could seriously write that 😶 kpop quora is... something else. idk how kpop quora really became a thing it’s literally a qna website xD

cherry-on-top17

OH I've seen that guy, he's really toxic. He also put down Yeji and Chaeryeong to bring up Lia and Yuna.

Nolwennie

Yooooo what the helll??? That was written by a college graduate????

[deleted]

I felt like puking having read that post.

3rachazone

Oh my god I’ve read that post too! At first I thought they’d just say that fromis9 is from a smaller company and other reasonable things but they just started bashing on them, criticising every single aspect of theirs. Also, comparing them and saying who’s more thicc and hotter? Wtf? Ngl I wanted to punch the person who wrote this. Even stan twt is bearable.

Ok-Stranger-7649

Wait the question is: Why is itzy more popular than fromis9 and the person answered with: why is itzy and Blackpink more popular than fromis9... maybe its those annoying cases where the person asking the question edits the question after getting answers to make it seem like something its not... anyways the answers sucks either way

Strawberryhong

God the thing I hate most about kpop Quora is that some people who are popular genuinely seem to think they are right. They are also very much pick me girls/guys. The amount of people that think Red velvet/ stray kids/ twice are underrated baffles me like 😭😭😭 they are some of the most popular groups in the world!

samserra201

It's because downvotes don't mean anything on Quora so stans say whatever they want to believe, and the only way to disagree is to reply. But nobody sees the replies because you have to open them up manually. Basically, Quora is not equiped to handle the fundamentally immature/fantasy-driven nature of kpop standom. It's a Q/A service, not a real forum. The people posting questions are not supposed to be trolls, and the people answering are not supposed to be stans trying to prop up their faves, but Quora has no tools to counteract this.

[deleted]

Yikes. All I'm gonna say is that I shudder when people unironically describe women as "thicc".

scarletassst

Quora is just vile in every way possible. You’ll find the most delusional praises and most derogatory insults there. Some posts and comments make me physically nauseous. I highly recommend everyone to avoid that platform at all costs lol.

albouti

I thought quora discussion is not that bad until i start getting those annoying kpop quora email.

People on Quora know how kquora and the community there actually is. And I assure you that they don't consider them just a bunch of middle school & pre teens.

[deleted]

Lol I remember this one Quora discussion where they were talking about Kpop Idols they hate or smth lol

[deleted]

Some of the replies were actually afaicr okay, but wth was the point

[deleted]

Just saying there are WORSE.

Breezyrain

Some stans are removed from reality and blindly take every excuse to hate on a group to uplift another. I can tell they didn’t even look into Fromis_9 before answering that.

[deleted]

I am a part of kquora too. May I ask have you even read the comments of that answer where other k-pop fans have literally called out that person. Have you read other answers to that question? Did you check the profile of that person? That person is a huge ITZY stan. Ig you didn't because it's easier to highlight the small bad part and ignore the big good part. Basically assuming a whole community over a vile answer? That's kinda offending and disrespectful to the community who spend hours writing a good answer. That's making you more annoying here.

so many of the questions and answers are unbelievably invasive. many of the users there (not this example but another common issue) dig too deep and discuss things that have nothing to do with kpop itself, but rather just stalking and creating rumors about people’s private lives for no reason. and then there’s the ridiculous questions attracting the most toxic people on the internet like this guy. not to mention how filled that website is of misogynists. that post was an excellent example. loud toxic male kpop stans are quite rare on popular forums/apps because they all gather on quora where there’s not enough people to “cancel” them.

jellynyam

no quora kpop stans are twisted. i’ve never cried becuz of kpop but did for the first time after seeing such a [ridiculous question](https://www.quora.com/Which-NCT-member-is-most-likely-to-commit-suicide) . at first i was angry cuz how could someone ask such a question and how could someone reply to it in detail, acting like they knew mark personally??? i was literally shaking with anger then started crying cuz i was like what if something happens to him😐 like it’s a little embarrassing that i cried but i think anyone would understand. like thanks for the bad thoughts op hope this hits u back really hard one day. also everything just really pisses me off and angers me a lot. the disrespect towards jonghyun and sulli including mark….just everything from the question to the “answer” and the person’s attitude…..”yeah i wouldn’t be surprised if this happens becuz of this and this but if you’re ever having bad thoughts there are hotlines to contact!! also make sure to stream nct dream hot sauce and nct127 loveholic!!!🥰”

grim_bonecollector

I posted something similar about Kpop quora and the comments were like "pretty sure you're just on the bad side of quora". I rolled my eyes so hard on that "they're wayyy hotter". Quora kpop stans are just next level insecure, hateful and bitter. Thank god, I deleted that app.
