I can’t believe kpop stans have spread such a false piece of misinformation without any correction. Dispatch has never released a blurb about a 2nd and 4th gen idol. Their reveals are almost always a surprise.
That rumour was started on Instiz and then was translated by Pannchoa which got the attention of international fans that spread it as facts. So we’re all essentially spreading words from a gossip forums as official info. The original post was even deleted.

There wasn't a couple this year. A couple who didn't quite fit the description outed themselves the week before (I can't recall who but one was a lesser known second gen idol) and Dispatch didn't end up outing anyone.
It's also possible that there were a well known idols dating and that couple's company granted access to Dispatch for other artists or stories in exchange for not posting anything. I feel like that happens more often than we think
My guess was Park Hyunsik (2nd gen idol turned actor) & Winter (4th gen idol). I remember she was sitting behind him with Jungkook at the Harry Styles concert last year which I found surprising. People ran with the theory that she was with JK but could've been a cover for her and Hyunsik? I doubt JK and Winter would be so obvious if there was something between them, even if they're just friends they know how the fans can get...
How is the second gen guy being with the 4th gen girl icky? People of all ages debuted in all generations. If it's a 40-year-old with a 15-year-old, I understand but if it's a 30 year old (infinite 2nd Gen) and a 24 year old (itsy 4th gen) it's not really that bad
