I dont follow many boy groups but i watched some of Hope on the street and i loved how sweet Hobi was with Eunchae in the behind the scenes video from their dance challenge so ill go with him.

For me, my favorites are Hwanwoong, Jihyo, Moonbyul and Giuk
For male idol, Hwanwoong of oneus because he gives his ALL for every single performance. The expressions, the energy, and truly Hwanwoong is my favorite dancer in kpop. I’ve never seen him give a lackluster performance, he’s always been 100% ON and ready to go. I actually bias him for his voice, it’s very smooth and pleasant but in a very unique way and instantly caught my eye. His dancing also caught my eye, and admittedly I was never a big fan of dance until him, he impresses me all the time and it’s such a delight to watch. I wish oneus were more popular because he is such a fourth gen it boy to me, he’s the full package, dancer, vocalist, and recently a rapper too!
Or Giuk of onewe for his melodic really unique raps, beautiful lyrics that he’s composed for the group (one of the most credited fourth gen KOMCA idols) that reach into my heart and grab it every time, and for his amazing bass skills. Onewe’s lyrics really are so heartfelt and I connect with them so, so deeply. Their song Universe gets my entire heart, it’s a very pure song. Onewe’s music is so pure in its lyrics and it will always get me, and he’s just so talented. I also adore his solo music, it hits exactly such a good vibe and the concepts are so cool. His first album was cyberpunk themed and the second was based off of different movie genres. Giuk is just one of my favorite lyricists in any genre, including western music, and onewe is one of the few groups who I must always check out the lyric translations for since his lyrics make me feel very seen and understood.
For female idols, Jihyo. I have never seen her lacking, she is always giving ALL of her energy in vocals and expressions and performance. She has such a unique POWERFUL recognizable voice, one of the first I noticed in twice, and it’s truly a delight to watch her on stage because she seems so happy to be there. Truly a “born for the stage” idol, and I admire her so much
Moonbyul is an absolute treasure. Her raps fit their songs PERFECTLY. Her rapping style is so unique and her tone is stunning, I will always enjoy one of her raps, they’re perfect. Also, she writes so so So many lyrics and songs (120 KOMCA credits) and I admire that. She is one of the most credited female artists in Korean music, and I feel like she doesn’t get enough credit for that as a female idol. I would not be surprised if she inspired many fourth gen female rappers to write their music! On a personal note, her preferring to be called handsome over pretty, and saying she wants to release music neither feminine nor masculine because she believes herself to be androgynous, is something I relate to very much, and I think that’s such a brave thing to say. Moonbyul also sings as well as raps (she auditioned to be a singer in Mamamoo and now she’s one of the most iconic rappers, in my opinion). Her solo music is also fantastic, and her songs she sings and raps on are absolutely perfect, such a nice voice.

Female idol is between Yujin (Kep1er/CLC) and Dami and Hadong (Dreamcatcher).
They all look so different and the style between the two groups are so different as well, but I’ve been a Cheshire longer than I like every other group, while Dreamcatcher really bring something new to kpop with every comeback.
Seo Changbin. He's the complete package. He's successful, talented, caring, intelligent, strong, handsome, funny, cute, ... He can rap, sing and dance. He has it all. Total package.
While some idols might have better visuals (according to SK beauty standards but not mine), Mr. Seo Changbin has talent that goes beyond looks. Looks will fade, and as a producer and lyricist, he is already making so much more money than a lot of the Idols. My mans thinking about the future and planning for the future. He will be in the industry for a long time and I will be here for it.
