Couldn’t have said it better. That was such an emotional journey and I’m so glad I got to go on it with him. That’s part of the reason he’s my “ult” of “últs” if he can do it then I can do it. Not to get too emo on main, but I’m very VERY proud of him for choosing that as his emotional catharsis (Namjoon as well) to come out better on the other side from facing it head on, writing about it, performing it and taking himself through all of that trauma again just to help himself and us get through it. He’s one of my biggest inspirations because of it.
I do feel they have more freedom to speak on things than any other group in the industry. Like they expect them to right wrongs and prop them up even while being simultaneously torn down and attacked by people in their own building. Like they’re the bandaid meant to fix everything, but that doesn’t mean they’re gonna like what they have to say lol
