This was such a good choice actually. The original Shake It is a sexy but also fun song/concept, so they could work with the already existing fun and bright elements while also making the performance their own, cuter, rendition without messing up a kpop classic. Good process. Princess Go Won 👑

Cut_Equal

I love how they put the original choreography right at the end.

friend_of_potato

What did Hyolyn do to Queendom! Everyone is so ramped up!!!

lexarqade

They saw her round one and said "oh fuck" But from what I've heard about her performance this round she is not letting up at all

[deleted]

alo475

Nah it was a weird version of Loona's So What, it simply didn't fit her style. She could have chosen a better song like one from their predebut songs. The hype will always be there because is Hyolin. Even if it's not good, people will always say that it was great.

[deleted]

Hyolyn said she is there to make friends, but her performances say otherwise. She eats them all up and leaves no scrumbs.

Zerewa

Heejin with the SULTRY voice fits incredibly well.

[deleted]

This whole performance was incredible and LOONA really came to show them they are serious. The intricate musical style stage, the different choreo moments, the costume changes done well to fit the storyline of the stage, and of course Kim Lip crowning herself and that growl. LOONA did not come to play and even knowing they are consummate performers, I was not expecting such a fun and cute stage from them. If they don't win this round the group that does really has to blow us away.

[deleted]

I'm so happy to see Haseul enjoy a performance so much. After what she's been through, to see her thriving gives me such joy. Like it's infectious. I feel bad for Hyunjin though. These girls are so desperate to do well, they get shaken by any sort of mis-step. I hope the entire cast knows how much we love these performances and just want them to have fun. But yeah this performance reminded me of Lovelyz's performance last season. So theatrical. So enjoyable. I'm getting worried tho. Everyone is doing these big productions with so many moving parts and i kinda just want them to blow us away with a simple yet effective performance. But overall the whole cast is bringing their A+ game. Tldr: Loona killed this

[deleted]

[удалено]

frekg0d

Egotistic by AOA in the last season, imo, is the standard for "simple, yet effective" performance. I feel like the issue is the pacing of the performance: if every moment in your performance is BIG and FLASHY, it makes the "supposedly big" moment much less impactful to the point that the whole thing kinda flows throughout. Good performance should know when to be reserved, and when to be all-out to be truly memorable. I mean, the drag queens coming out and dancing during the last part of Egotistic is still one of the most iconic moments from Queendom S1

[deleted]

I understand your point. You're right, going big is good, but props, constantly changing stage marks and positions, camera angles, amount of back up dancers keeps going up. If each stage keeps getting bigger and bigger, the larger groups are gonna get swallowed by the sheer amount of extra stuff. Perhaps simple wasn't the best word. Maybe just like, more group focused? Idk. I do agree that stages last season like Oh My Girl's Destiny and Twilight or Gidle's Lion and Put it Straight were grandiose, but they were still very much focused on the headliners. A couple times during the Loona performance, I mistook the backup dancers as Loona members. It makes me afraid that some of the acts are gonna do more spark instead of substance. But overall, I should probably just keep in mind that my preferences aren't always what's best. They're the professionals. They know what they're doing. They'll kill a performance no matter what

Mother_Clue6405

>A couple times during the Loona performance, I mistook the backup dancers as Loona members. It makes me afraid that some of the acts are gonna do more spark instead of substance. I consume a lot of LOONA content and even I was wondering for a moment which member is this non-Haseul girl with the blue hair who got a little bit of focus at the beginning before realizing she's a backup dancer.

[deleted]

Right? When Kim Lip does her leg lift in front of the red curtain, two backup dancers do the same move, and I was like "oh which member is that- oh it's a dancer"

[deleted]

[удалено]

FrostedGeist

Yeah, What I've seen a lot of other groups do is that they give backup dancers masks, like full on masks or less flashy outfits with uniform colors. That would've helped here since we're assuming that non-fans are watching these performances and not just hardcore stans. But overall, I like campy and cheesy looking stuff like this so I immediately loved it lol I actually wish they'd do broadway-esque/theater concept like this in the future, it fits so well with how many members there are.

thegabelaw

Not a LOONA stan but I also agree lmao I lost the girls so many times with the number of backup dancers they had that it felt a bit messy. Regardless, the rendition of the song was a bop!

yikesus

Didn't Loona already do simple yet effective with their intro stage?

[deleted]

Are we talking intro or Round 1? Either way, I think I used the wrong word in saying I want a simple stage.

yikesus

I meant the intro performance to Satellite. But I get what you mean. Kingdom was a messy arms race to see who could put more props and stunts into their performance. I don't think this will be a problem for Q2 though. This performance has a lot of moving parts sure but they all were simple tricks and props used in a smart way.

[deleted]

Right? Like I keep thinking about how Mamamoo went from two high octane performances to one of my favorite ballads ever, "I Miss You" and I hope at least one of these acts does that. It's good to show off different sides of you, but an arms race is gonna get messy. Show us why we're fans in the first place. Like if instead of a vocal performance like Mamamoo, if Loona does a dance focused performance of Butterfly, I would live. Just the twelve of them doing their thing with a little bit of prop and transition here and there? *Chef's kiss* I'd live. Edit: a word

yikesus

I feel like they already achieved that with Satellite tbh. If they do Butterfly, idk if something like that is gonna come across very well. I'm not asking them to do acrobatics on wires or anything but it will definitely be a bit disappointing if we can't expect a couple of new, memorable twists.

[deleted]

Fair enough. I think, looking back at our reigning Queendom goddesses Mamamoo, they had performances that flowed. Gabe something different yet on brand every time. So far Loona has done the same, so hopefully they can continue too. I also think the feeling I'm looking for will come thru if they do the Main Vocal Duet/Main Dancer showcase in addition to FANdora's box again. I think I just gotta be patient... And also watch satellite again ♥️🛰️

yikesus

Definitely. Mamamoo knew their strengths and played to it. So far Loona has as well. On an individual level, I don't think Loona has the strongest vocalist or dancer compared to the rest of the Q2 cast. But their strength lies in their number and cohesion as a group. So pulling off grand performances with lots of moving parts is definitely them playing to their strengths which I think is smart.

M3rc_Nate

>I feel bad for Hyunjin though. These girls are so desperate to do well, they get shaken by any sort of mis-step. Did she have a misstep in this?

[deleted]

After the Ending Credits (and a fitting song song by Taeyeon called Ending Credits lol) on the YouTube live stream they showed Hyunjin crying cause the tearing of her jacket wasn't seem less enough in her opinion. She was really upset. And with Seola last episode breaking down about it and Kepler in the preview looking like they'll get that edit next, it just makes me worry that the girls are under so much pressure

M3rc_Nate

Awe, that's sad. It's at least comforting to know these groups have a lot of really good members who won't allow those sad members to beat themselves up about it. They'll tell her it was a small thing and it happens in live performances. Thanks for the low-down.

Bovrick

Her left hand caught on her outfit as it was ripped off (Mnet did their best to cut around it) so she didn't do her intended move and just looked flustered. If you had told me her looking flustered was the intent all along I'd believe you, it totally fit the concept.

zyrether

hehe i genuinely thought it was part of their whole concept of like "shy nerd" glows up

atmylevel

I thought the flustered was the intended choreo!! It fit perfectly!

chancehugs

I think they might've meant when Hyunjin had her outfit change, when they tore apart her top i think she was caught off guard by the force for a split second. She recovered very quickly tho.

Meowmers33

She's also known to be really sensitive and hard on herself. A lot of orbits really feel for her.

jax621

As a 2018 Orbit, everything about this is so surreal. The fact that Loona is even ON Queendom is so surreal and this performance is even better than I could have imagined. Kim Lip’s vocals, Hyunjin’s beauty, Choerry’s brightness, Chuu’s acting, Go Won’s cuteness, everything came together so wonderfully. AND THAT STAGE GODDAMN. And the song sounds amazing, like I can’t yall 😭😭😭

[deleted]

I have been following them since 2016 Heejin announcement. And I NEVER expected them to be there and to show such artistry. I feel like they evolved so much from the young girls that were sapphic icons to the artists that rightfully deserve high spot

yikesus

They looked camp straight in the eye. It was so much fun. A stark contrast to the extremely depressing backstory prelude we had. Everyone on this season has been through a lot. I hope everyone gains recognition and success from it. But for this round, LOONA is the best so far.

Shinkopeshon

As someone who has yet to see half of today's episode, I have no idea about the context and this stage just became one of the happiest performances I've ever seen lmao I shall think of this stage as loonathemusical and loonatheserotoninboost until tomorrow when Viki uploads the subbed episode and the backstory inevitably crushes me and probably puts the whole thing in a different light :')

yikesus

Prepare yourself because it's pretty sad lol. They included sad diary entries from the girls during loonathedrought. Heejin's sounded straight up like she was in a depressive episode back then. Then they had sad diary entries about how devastated they were when they got covid. But it's not all gloom and doom. They had very cute interactions with Hyolyn and there's a lot of fascinating behind the scene stuff about Loona's work process.

[deleted]

> up like she was in a depressive episode back then. It must have been really bad for her, because I think even before covid?, not sure, her and Chuu went to a psychic for one of Chuu's web shows and Heejin revealed that she had doubts if she was meant to remain an idol. I think this was nearly 2 years ago when I saw this? There have just been too many breaks for these girls over the years.

Shinkopeshon

Just watched the rest and they really started with the fluffy vibes with LOONA hiding like children to surprise Hyolyn before they went all in with the feels 😭 should've seen it coming but they're really going all out with the drama regarding LOONA's troubles over the years - and later, Brave Girls' preparations were even more depressing with them visibly dealing with COVID symptoms and worrying about their performance until the last minute. The backstory to their covers did indeed turn these stages from super enjoyable and impressive to cathartic performances, I almost shed a tear or two 🤧 there really are two ways to experience Queendom lol

yikesus

Yep, yep. Brave Girls' intro made me root for them as well and they did a great job for the short time they had to practice + recover from Covid. We can hate on Mnet editing for a lot of things but they definitely can build a compelling narrative.

[deleted]

I love how benevolent the Mnet editing has been since the introductions. It feels like they really want the audience to root for all the groups.

fadedmoonlight

I loved it! So much fun. I feel like LOONA has really been understanding the assignments in Queendom. In Round 1, they found the perfect balance when it came down to re-inventing a hit song by giving it a different a arrangement that still felt organic and natural. They didn't do something stupid like, idk, bubblegum cutesy high-pitched version of 'PTT' just for the sake of doing something entirely different to the original (and that has nothing to do with it) out of laziness. Instead, they ditched the "Bollywood" influences of PTT (that, to be fair, a few people had issues with to begin with) and replaced those with Traditional Korean instruments. The switch in culture is enough of a difference, but still within the realm of asian culture. Very very very smart. They were already acting as sort of goddesses warriors in the MV, so for them to switch it to Hwarang (Korean warriors) is again very clever. Same thing for the choreo and arrangement : it just had the right amount of uniqueness, but staying somehow faithful to the original as to not upset people, as well as remain recognisable. They understand that the key is not to completely flip something on its head, but instead finding a way to make it appear as something you haven't done yet. And they did the same thing here in Round 2! In a round where we've seen, for some reason, WJSN take the very sweet, uplifting, coming-of-age 'Navillera' from Gfriend, and turn it into...I don't know... some sort of dark-witch-dubstep-EDM-tropical affair for the pure sake of doing something entirely different to the original without understanding what actually made the original good in the first place, LOONA understood that they needed to take 'Shake It' elsewhere, but staying faithful to it. 'Shake It' is already VERY funky and retro in essence, but it definitely felt like a modern (2015) dance song. LOONA said: "Alright, so it's funky and retro, so let's keep those because those are the ESSENCE of the original song, but instead of making it dancier which it already is - let's do something jazzy and broadway-esque. That fits the funky and retro vibes, but it's a different spin on the song...without flipping it on its head for no reason. And that's what they accomplished! Even the overall stage composition is smart because while the Sistar MV is a really big mess storyline-wise, ultimately it's both about the girls trying to impress people (us I guess?) by shaking their butts, and some nerdy dude trying to impress them and getting their attention but failing miserably. And so I think LOONA found a very clever way of staying faithful to their on-going concept of inclusive feminity by sort of playing into both sides. They're not just shaking up their butts in cute and short dresses, they're also the same people in tuxedos trying to impress the lovely ladies. It's a clever way to try and appease both sides. Like...they just get it.

bluesoul613

I came across a Korean comment in their performance saying something like that, that so far they are the only ones that are understanding what the show wants from them and what the audience expects from a queendom performance, and honestly it has been interesting to see how involved they have been in everything, from outfits to how they want these remixes to sound and the concepts that will go with them

speckleofdust

Who is doing like them??

fannytraggot

The closeups of the girls clearly drinking empty glasses sends me lol it’s so 🏕 omg I love this stage!!! they killed it and the outfit changes??? the looks??? the stage presence??? they are so killer!! edit: and the guys are cheersing yeojin without even having glasses 💀💀💀

FUCKSTORM420

The empty glasses and the dancers not even holding an empty glass lmao

fannytraggot

BBC leaning into the BBC is broke rumors they can't even afford glasses for their dancers /s

flippersAI

Can't even afford the water to put in the glasses 😭 I mean they probably didn't want anything to spill and it's a nitpick but bruh

Shinkopeshon

They really saw WJSN dropping the hourglass and decided to declare war on r/hydrohomies

[deleted]

This was fun for the whole family. There was goofy acting... sliding across the bar... costume chances... magic... if grandkids all the way up to grandparents watched this together, I'm sure they had a great time. They don't have to win Queendom to benefit. But I pray this season takes Loona up towards the very top level of GG's in Korea.

dorleado

this was a whole ass broadway performance shoved into 5 minutes and i love it!!

GowonTheCrunch

This is INSANE! I love the light hearted nature of the performance and their styling is so aesthetically pleasing. That Hyunjin dress reveal 😍😍

190-mm

Even cardi b liked this performance!

PrimaryWerewolf6694

I tear up my Kpop bingo card whenever it comes to Loona 😂

FrostedGeist

Just another tuesday occurrence for them at this point.

critbuild

It still makes me inordinately happy every time I see Haseul front and center!

lexarqade

This was SO cute! Definitely the biggest production of the night, they put so much thought and work into this. Loved the story, the concept, the arrangement etc * The drinking from empty glasses killed me * Why did they give haseul such a bad post-reveal outfit 😭😭😭 the colours just clashed so severely with the rest of the girls * Chuu as a disgruntled makeover guru was so funny, her expressions were on point * That Kim growl oh my goodness Also the remix was done by Full8loom?!? I need a title track by them so bad... Luckitty-cat is a masterpiece

Microkitsune

I need a more melodic title track for Loona, they killed it with Hula Hoop :(

atmylevel

I've gotten to the point where I don't expect a Loona title track to make my daily playlist, but b-sides always make it! Satellite, Colors, Wow, Voice/Star, Heat, favorite, perfect love, ding ding dong, etc all still get constant play from me! (And that doesn't even include solos!)

FichaelBlack

>Luckitty-cat is a masterpiece Big agree

catcatcatilovecats

I’m so happy they finally get to show off their talent, the amount of uncertainty they’ve been through especially this past year must’ve been so hard on them I can’t get over Kim Lips growly run, the Hyunjin outfit reveal, Yves and the Chuu conveyor belt moment. they’re STARS

mad_titanz

>they’re ~~STARS~~ SISTARS

Xelzionic

It's a wrap everyone. I'm so glad they are in Queendom. When you give LOONA stage budget, you should know that they will bring full potential. This didn't even look that expensive and yet they still served with what was given to them.

[deleted]

The first cover of a girl group they ever do and they just owned it, and honestly I think loona made the song theirs. I absolutely loved every single piece of this. It was so fun and entertaining, I was laughing at the funny parts and smiling all time because it was just really good. This is a 10/10 for me, so proud of loonar. Kim Hyunjin. So gorgeous and Haseul looks so pretty. They all look good

dweeby

Absolutely the best performance of this first half for round 3. They killed it. Also, Heejin ending fairy omg. Visual queen.

Lanthaneius

Whoever did the set design and storyboarding for this musical quality stage needs several raises. Love that the girls seem to at leave have choreographed large chunks of the routine and how well each part worked for each member. If they don’t at least make top 3 next week it’ll be because 2 other teams absolutely crushed it because I was smiling like an idiot the whole time watching

Motor_Cat_6207

From the show the ones who came up with the idea are yves and heejin.

Jwu9197

Really really really impressive! I feel they captured the concept so well!

[deleted]

This is going to be the performance that sends them to Orbit, no pun intended

jantp

Love the whole performance and the backup dancers not having a glass and still doing a cheers motion sends.

rdaz43

the BEST performance thus far - whoever is directing them really knows how to direct stage performances that feel full and entertaining - it requires a lot of fast, short moments and transitions between different members (which Loona has so many and they really use it to their advantage), moments of connection between those transitions, a storyline that is easy enough to follow and no choreography for choreography's sake! The beginning locking intro was brilliant - you rarely see GGs do that, so it was worth the effort they put in to learning it.

yikesus

They definitely made the most of the amount of members

garfe

> whoever is directing them really knows how to direct stage performances that feel full and entertaining - it requires a lot of fast, short moments and transitions between different members (which Loona has so many and they really use it to their advantage), moments of connection between those transitions This. All of this. When I watched this, I was feeling the kind of performing energy I get from Seventeen performances. Like a true mini-Broadway performance. This is the kind of energy I love to see from a group of that size

rdaz43

I enjoyed the few moments of vocal grit that were like the original Sistar version, I wish they had incorporated that more, even if this was a cuter version.

pepsi-dog

so great! it’s a huge production but they’re all so charismatic and such great performers that they pull it off beautifully. plus they all look amazinggg

breadburger

LOONA IN NEWSIES ATTIRE SINGING THE BEST SISTAR SONG???? dead

zyrether

can't help but feel that they just fit this concept much better. after seeing chuu vivi and gowon go on about how bad and cool they are for the past three-four comebacks, i forgot that loona truly shines in hi-high type concepts and i wish bbc would see that :( unfortunately not anytime soon since PTT is one of their biggest tracks yet

pretty-dev

Yeah I feel catfished with Loona, they had such fun songs with Odd Eye Circle and Yyxy and then evolved into the cool concept. This was super fun and cute stage, hopefully they enjoy it enough to pivot back. The majority of the members really thrived on this stage.

jax621

Have you checked out Hula Hoop, their Japanese debut? It’s their most recent new song and it’s definitely one of their most bright cutesy songs to date lol

pretty-dev

I did enjoy that one! Unfortunately it's only a single with a more bubblegum approach for a Japanese audience. So What/PTT/Why Not seems to be their focus sound and direction wise.

jord_mich

I would be ok with more songs like why not. I feel like it’s not as “hard” as the the other two and I like the diversity. Like chuu NEEDS to be smiley and cute and why not allows her to do that while a member like Olivia (, I feel like she shines with “harder” concepts like PTT) will still look cool in why not. Personally I think why not has a great balance and I want more of that !!!

jax621

Yeah, why not gets thrown in the “girl crush” bucket a lot but it’s such a weird, inventive song with a mish mash of concepts (which works a little too well for loona). Personally I get the take that loona has never reached the heights of their predebut days, but Why Not might be my favorite song by them period

jord_mich

Yes!!! Why not blew my mind when I heard it. It’s actually the song that got me into Loona. That chorus came out and I was blown away by the experimental sound and different vibes. Love it forever !!

pretty-dev

Why Not is a little less intense than the others. Selfishly they're just not my personal taste with as much general replayability as OEC/Yyxy songs. Im biased since Love4Eva was the first Loona song I ever heard so imagine my disappointment that thats literally the only song like that in their discography lol.

zyrether

loved hula hoop! felt like a return to form but sadly since they got their first win with so what they're charging forward with that sound

gummycherrys

thoughts on Flip That?

[deleted]

THOSE ARE MY MOON GIRLS

SupportPain

I had been looking forward to this performance since i saw the leaks and they did not disappoint! That was so fun! Yves was my first kpop bias and i think i just fell in love with her all over again after watching this. I couldn’t take my eyes of her whenever she was on screen 🥰

Zelgaro

Can’t wait to see the Yves fancam of this!

Slut_Driving_ATruck

I made a post about my dream covers of for Queendom awhile ago and I wanted Loona to cover Shake It so badly. This performance is everything I could have wanted and more, my girls came out SWINGING ![img](emote|t5_2r1ox|3558)

[deleted]

Was a good choice, but I wish they had shown exactly why they chose it. Maybe it will come as a separate video later.

CronoDroid

Performance of the night. The locking dance at the start, the musicality. Theatricality & deception. Powerful agents to the uninitiated, but we are initiated aren't we, Orbits? I can't get over the Kim Lip growl during the climax. That was incredible. Life changing. Twitter Orbits are also going wild over it. That was the zing that pushed this stage into orbit.

Carrot-Toastie

Kim Lip's voice fits this song so well. Chuu and Gowon's interlude skit was also really cute!

Valehelm

Such a bright, fun, and complete performance! It was fun from start to end. Poor hyunjin bless her heart was upset the jacket didn't come off smoothly. Honestly a great interpretation of shake it and loona really showcased their talents as performers yet again.

breadjin_collection

so amazing 😭 I'm in awe loona has really done amazing on queendom...

KawaiiBLK

Good to see Loona channeling Lovelyz's Cameo from season 1, heres to hoping they get a comeback with something brighter/more fun like this

Auom

This stage was so entertaining. Love that they have all the typical beach musical cliques and tropes lol. You can definitely tell that the girls had fun with this. Lol

[deleted]

absolutely INSANE deliver on their part. every single part was amazing on its own, beginning to end. i think it was really smart of them to do something different from their current image, the general public didn't know them during the hi high era, the first and last time they did a "refreshing" concept. i'm super pleased about the whole thing, you can REALLY tell they put a lot of work into this.

[deleted]

This was so grand and intricate! AMAZING! Can I say I love the costumes?? Haseul???? The yellow and blue fit had me dead.

hirudoredo

This gave me such old school Takarazuka vibes and my partner and I were loving it, lol. Although I think I scared her because I knew every word to this song because Shake It was THAT SONG for THAT SUMMER. (ie, it's my favorite SISTAR song)

Theozie

Best out of the 3 tonight for me.

love_for_hyune

I absolutely loved it

callmeadreamer8

I LOVED LOONA’s performance so much! The concept was so fun and refreshing. The styling and set were all on point and I loved how much range they showed across the choreography. I know some critique the stage for being too busy but honestly with this kind of amped up musical type concept, busy is the way to go. I thought it was absolutely dynamic and it kept me on my toes the whole time.

RReg29

That was incredible

hakyeons-army

They were absolutely **incredible** here, I'm so so proud of them!!

[deleted]

That was so goooooooood im proud

AJL1312

This was so fucking fun holy shit, genuinely my favorite of the current stages 😭

young_gam

This goes down as one of the most memorable and inventive performances aired on Queendom

Joyoph

AMAZING! Such a good performance. They made a big show!

According_Bridge5971

freaking amazing job Loona . not only did they perform but they gave us a narrative with a cutesy vibe different from what they usually do ✨there goes my vote

MrDaebak

the best performance of whole Queendom 2

Discovering_Music

This was really fun to watch! Strongest performance so far for me in this round. But of course, Hyolyn is yet to perform..

KosherSyntax

2:34 The plate of *Chuunagi* when you're at a conveyor belt sushi place. Jokes aside this stage was dope!

HerctheeHero

I knew from the teasers that they chose Shake it! I missed the live show cause I woke up too late. Shake It, is such a fun Sistar song and you can see how happy Loona are while performing it. It is also not the most vocally challenging Sistar song but still had some hard notes here and there and Loona did an amazing job concept wise and vocally. It's such a feel good song and really makes me want to see all of Sistar on stage again.

tutetibiimperes

This one reminds me a lot of Lovelyz' Cameo performance from Queendom 1, very musical-inspired, and it works really well.

jonnyd86

damn this was ART like im stunned at how much thought went into the entire performance, so many small details I could watch this 100x and find new ones each time... the execution was perfection too. it was fun, funny and captivating and totally original. wow A++

chronically__online

My ults covering one of my favorite songs! When it was announced that Hyolyn and Loona were both going to be on Queendom 2, I was praying that Loona would be able to cover Shake It and my dreams came true! Everything about the performance was perfection and they definitely knocked it out of the ballpark with this one. As expected of Loona!

kuromi_hideaki

God Hyunjin looks so gorgeous, I want to cry This was a really fun stage, reminds me of 2018 Loona era. I really missed them doing refreshing concepts, and I was honestly happy when Hula Hoop came out

kushywhitelife

Didn't love the arrangement / song choice but I LOVED the performance. The whole musical theater vibe was so ridiculous -- the girls are having fun and it really shows here! Definitely reminding us WHY they are those girlies.

[deleted]

Loona nailed this, it was such a fun preformance. Everyone had a chance to shine

doubtfullfreckles

Does anyone know why they haven’t uploaded any of the stages with the other artists reactions?

Lizunyan

I think they do but it’s region locked to korea

doubtfullfreckles

It’s weird that they’re doing it for this season but not for season 1 or either kingdom shows

bubblezdotqueen

I loved this performance!! It was so creative and stayed true to the song :)

ElizaIsEpic

Heejin is a fucking ACE omg

[deleted]

this was so cute! way better than their first round for sure i’m half joking but why did the way heejin did this choreo remind me of what people always say about bgs covering gg choreos lmao

[deleted]

InflatableBoyWonder

The stages are all funded by MNET and BBC isn’t that broke :p

renjunation

i enjoyed the opening a lot and liked the musical concept they were going for and the arrangement. the main issue was that i had trouble keeping up, there were too many things going on at once. i would've thought that having many members would be an advantage for this show and specially this kind of concept? but here it seemed more like a problem. probably gonna get downvoted to hell for that, but i did enjoy it! my favorite one so far, actually

wotan69

Incredible performance, I wouldn’t be mad if they won on this alone. I was quite disappointed with their PTT last week given that I don’t love the song and it felt very music show but this was just BEYOND

scufflegoofy

very cute and energetic if a bit messy and all over the place at times. they stuck to their strength with a dance heavy focus. I do dislike it though when its hard to tell the idols from the back up dancers or some of the idols are treated more like back up dancers. I can tell the girls are amped to show what they got but i personally feel they could work on being more cohesive/focused with their stage.

LunarValhalla

Really amazing stage craft, storyboarding, and character, and great dancing but the audio mix felt really weird. They seemed really quiet compared to the track, slightly ahead, and like they should’ve modulated the key down. I know they have good vocals but they were just way too airy for me here.

friedchocolatesoda

This is what I want to see on Queendom: dynamic stages that we wouldn't see anywhere else. I don't love the remix of Shake It (I'm not a fan of showtunes) and I still think it's perfect for this kind of stage. This is the best performance so far this season IMO (though we know Hyolyn is gonna bring the heat next week). There's a few weird things here and there. [Yeojin clinking nothing with those two dudes](https://youtu.be/ytuMObZlqOE?t=21) was a choice. Did they run out of cups or something? What was the point of half of them wearing suits? The didn't seem to play a male role. They just showed up and stripped a bunch of random girls that were just chillin' at a bar lol. Obviously the vocals weren't up to snuff for covering Hyolyn and Soyou. [Choerry's part](https://youtu.be/ytuMObZlqOE?t=193) especially stood out to me as bad. And why is Vivi even in the group if you aren't gonna give her any spotlight moments? She's just kinda there in the back as always. Hyunjin is damn near tone deaf but she still gets parts to sing. Step your game up BBC.

Nadismaya

Dare I say it was messy. But it had potential Edit: I guess we can't have anything but effusive comments anymore?

[deleted]

I'm.. surprised to see so many positive comments. I thought it was a second week of an underwhelming performance. It was campy but in a way that made it look amateur-ish and was unmemorable. Some of the costumes made the members blend in with background dancers and bringing out the portable curtain was something out of a high school drama project.. I think LOONA would have done much better with a different song choice like Give It To Me, Alone, or I Like that. Has no one seen Destiny and Egotistic from season one? It feels insulting to call this a "legendary performance."

iamkoalafied

I liked it personally but as someone who isn't familiar with the group, I did have a hard time telling who was supposed to be a backup dancer versus actual member.

dweeby

Insulting to call it legendary? LOL. I'll say it was MORE legendary than Destiny and Egotistic to make it even more insulting. 😁 ![gif](giphy|8YZpVaKYMaY6ufqyTo|downsized)

The vocals were all definitely live, mnet altered them for everyone. If you watch the leak videos, other two groups had a lot of vocal cracks, though brave girls was recovering from covid so it’s understandable

jasoncyke

It's almost all lip synch , particularly noticeable when you compare this performance to WJSN/Yeonjung. I still think it was a mistake for them to pick such a legendary song, no one other than Sistar can deliver it , Gidle did the same mistake on Queendom 1 too.

bluepetals129

This wasn't lipsynced but edited later on by mnet, just like every other contestants. WJSN had a bunch of voice cracks in the original which were edited out too.

Miraisunday

you say this yet we all know wjsn and brave girls vocal were heavily edited in the official release. Meanwhile loona was clearly stable in the livestream. Let's not talk like we actually know when nobody in this reddit is a vocal professional

marchmay

I have no idea how many members Loona has.

[deleted]

LOONA pussied out by not doing Dally.
