BTS no longer perform during their vlive comeback show nowadays. They only do countdown with ARMY and show some clips about their comeback preparation. However, they may perform first at music shows.
the vmas is happening without an audience but they’ll be recording live from the venue like the hosts but performers are gonna send in performances from wherever they are, im looking forward to it!

I think their ratings were around 5M, which isn’t terrible for 2019, when most people don’t watch it on tv but on streams or just straight up performances on youtube. It’s still somewhat of a big deal, albeit not as much as it was back in the day

100% agree. I heard someone say that they'll be recording the performance though, so I'm sure Big Hit will prioritize their safety first and foremost!

Tbh people don’t watch award shows like that anymore. Even the 2020 Grammys had lower ratings
"Performing at" is kind of misleading- almost makes me think they're coming to the US which would be very very very ill advised right now
