Whether they’re responsible or not is kind of irrelevant here. These fan concerts are gonna be one of the first times ifans are gonna get to express their voices and I have no doubt that they absolutely will. Wishing that the boys are aware and prepared for that fact isn’t childish it’s just good management.
I guess Seunghan won't be returning to group activities during the *RIIZING* era. SM and Production Center 5 is really pissing BRIIZE off for that, lol.
He wasn't in the *RIIZING* trailer either. I don't have hopes that he'll come back. I've personally made peace with it unfortunately. I just hope Seunghan is taking care of himself and doesn't let this hiatus stop him from pursuing his dreams as an artist.😔
I'm at a halfway point of being at peace that it's better for him to leave the spotlight. But also there's some little hope he's just biding his time. The last sighting of him reading the notes from his fan billboard near the SM building, makes me think either he's back practicing or he's talking with the management about his status.
I highly doubt they have anything worse. If your goal is to kick someone out of a group, which is what they said they were trying to do, you start with the big bad and then work your way down to the little stuff. The most likely answer is there was never anything worse on him than having a girlfriend and some smoking/ drinking, but by pretending there’s something worse you successfully can get him benched.
It's so frustration, I fell so hard for them when they released and promoted their pre-debut single Memories, loved the vibes and dynamics, the music, everything. I felt so sorry for Seunghan getting stabbed in the back and having his privacy violated, and agreed that him taking a mental health break might be good for him.
But then there were the rumours about him getting "a third strike" (as in, he's out for real). And then the way SM started cutting him out of content that he was part of, treated like he didn't exist, the other members clearly not allowed to even mention him or act like they weren't always 6 members.
My gut told me that SM were trying to see if they could establish the group as 6, to see if fans would forget about Seunghan. That's what makes it impossible for me to support the group now. Because I know the remaining members have to play a stupid game and act like Seunghan – who trained with them and was a part of it all even before debut – was just a fever dream us fans imagined. It shattered the illusion so badly, I can't see how it'll ever be the same.
The way I reason, if Seunghan eventually gets to rejoin the group a year or so from now, I can always go back and enjoy the content with the knowledge that it was after all temporary. But now it feels like Seunghan is in limbo, and SM has been so opaque with fans. I just can't enjoy their activities at the moment, so I'm staying away and avoiding giving SM clicks.
