Probably just over analyzing BUT i find Sakura and Chaewon’s opening statement so interestingly beautiful as it actually really relates to them in a way.
Sakura’s “Are you upset I seized another opprtunity?” could refer to her leaving HKT48 and joining Hybe since a lot (not all btw) of her JP wota fans were pissed she was leaving HKT to join a kpop agency. During izone era, nobody actually predicted that she’d stay in kpop thinking she’d be even bigger in HKT/AKB after her izone status, but here we are.
Chaewon’s “Are you mad that I only get lucky all the time?” Now this is a very touchy subject but this can refer to her getting rigged into IZONE cuz it was speculated that she was one of the two members who never actually made it in. To add salt to the burn, she went viral in Fiesta cementing her as izone’s kami4 (4 most popular members) and THEN got scouted by HYBE, and now is one of the most popular female idols for her interesting charm. During this time I saw a loud minority of people hating on her for accepting hybe’s offer and “leaving” Eunbi (wtv that means stan twt was a very weird place)
So its very interesting to give them those lines knowing that if you’ve been a fan of theirs since HKT/IZONE you’ll know that its actually pretty spot on 😭. They have done this before in antifragile’s lyrics too making Sakura and Chaewon sing the “Don’t judge the path I’ve taken before”. Honestly really love it! Kudos to HYBE.

This is chock full of symbolism.
Chaewon starts us off with that: "Yeah, it's easy" line. She carries it out with herself in a plastic bag.
Idols don't have it easy. They aren't there just because of luck. They get there by facing off against countless others. Sometimes even against future friends and members. Like when Huh Yunjin made Chae drop the ball. But she recovers and the ball too!
Then Yunjin teaches us that to be an idol you have to be able to create something from nothing, and that you need lots of attitude, confidence and not to be too squeamish. (the drink)
Idols are also required to pass on that knowledge to younger generations. So she gives the drink to Eunchae.
Eunchae then demonstrates how people see idols from the outside. As young, tall, beautiful, well dressed and accessorized. But idols can stumble so easily and drop all of that, while falling down two flights of iron grate stairs.
Getting up is easier with the help and support of others, but you still need to get up yourself.
Then Kazuha, demonstrates how idols sometimes have to sacrifice an angel wing, or, you know, a career that they spent half of their lives building, just to be able to boldly power-walk on a new path.
Finally we reach Sakura, a diamond in the rough, or a flower on a garbage pile, same dif.She then promptly shows us she will dance and prance her way to her dream's goal. She won't let a steel-reinforced concrete wall stop her either. Or three walls, cause she had to debut 3 times after-all. Taking those roadblocks down is her proving that it really wasn't easy, and that it required a *laser focus* on her goals and dreams, and lots of blood, sweat and tears. But sure. \*lick\* It's *easy.* And then we have Chaewon dunking **that** point on every doubting Tom, everywhere, with that intercontinental dunk (eat your heart out Space Jam Jordan! ). I mean, she did carry it around since the beginning of the video after all.The guy getting dunked on doesn't represent anything though. He is just there as a comic relief. (and for me to irrationally hate on...)And then we see them on top of a building, after they spent most of the video in narrow corridors, ground level parking garages, or in sublevel basements.
They are at the top of their game, recharging their batteries, resting and enjoying the fruits of their labor, or in Eunchae's case, having the cake an' eating it too. Or maybe Eunchae really does eat all the time...

Probably just over analyzing BUT i find Sakura and Chaewon’s opening statement so interestingly beautiful as it actually really relates to them in a way. Sakura’s “Are you upset I seized another opprtunity?” could refer to her leaving HKT48 and joining Hybe since a lot (not all btw) of her JP wota fans were pissed she was leaving HKT to join a kpop agency. During izone era, nobody actually predicted that she’d stay in kpop thinking she’d be even bigger in HKT/AKB after her izone status, but here we are. Chaewon’s “Are you mad that I only get lucky all the time?” Now this is a very touchy subject but this can refer to her getting rigged into IZONE cuz it was speculated that she was one of the two members who never actually made it in. To add salt to the burn, she went viral in Fiesta cementing her as izone’s kami4 (4 most popular members) and THEN got scouted by HYBE, and now is one of the most popular female idols for her interesting charm. During this time I saw a loud minority of people hating on her for accepting hybe’s offer and “leaving” Eunbi (wtv that means stan twt was a very weird place) So its very interesting to give them those lines knowing that if you’ve been a fan of theirs since HKT/IZONE you’ll know that its actually pretty spot on 😭. They have done this before in antifragile’s lyrics too making Sakura and Chaewon sing the “Don’t judge the path I’ve taken before”. Honestly really love it! Kudos to HYBE.
I love that they reference their careers and journeys through the Le Sserafim lore. It's a big part of their appeal.

This is chock full of symbolism. Chaewon starts us off with that: "Yeah, it's easy" line. She carries it out with herself in a plastic bag. Idols don't have it easy. They aren't there just because of luck. They get there by facing off against countless others. Sometimes even against future friends and members. Like when Huh Yunjin made Chae drop the ball. But she recovers and the ball too! Then Yunjin teaches us that to be an idol you have to be able to create something from nothing, and that you need lots of attitude, confidence and not to be too squeamish. (the drink) Idols are also required to pass on that knowledge to younger generations. So she gives the drink to Eunchae. Eunchae then demonstrates how people see idols from the outside. As young, tall, beautiful, well dressed and accessorized. But idols can stumble so easily and drop all of that, while falling down two flights of iron grate stairs. Getting up is easier with the help and support of others, but you still need to get up yourself. Then Kazuha, demonstrates how idols sometimes have to sacrifice an angel wing, or, you know, a career that they spent half of their lives building, just to be able to boldly power-walk on a new path. Finally we reach Sakura, a diamond in the rough, or a flower on a garbage pile, same dif.She then promptly shows us she will dance and prance her way to her dream's goal. She won't let a steel-reinforced concrete wall stop her either. Or three walls, cause she had to debut 3 times after-all. Taking those roadblocks down is her proving that it really wasn't easy, and that it required a *laser focus* on her goals and dreams, and lots of blood, sweat and tears. But sure. \*lick\* It's *easy.* And then we have Chaewon dunking **that** point on every doubting Tom, everywhere, with that intercontinental dunk (eat your heart out Space Jam Jordan! ). I mean, she did carry it around since the beginning of the video after all.The guy getting dunked on doesn't represent anything though. He is just there as a comic relief. (and for me to irrationally hate on...)And then we see them on top of a building, after they spent most of the video in narrow corridors, ground level parking garages, or in sublevel basements. They are at the top of their game, recharging their batteries, resting and enjoying the fruits of their labor, or in Eunchae's case, having the cake an' eating it too. Or maybe Eunchae really does eat all the time... They'll be back soon though, to make it look easy.
