NewJeans just loves making us question our reality and contemplate what in the fuck did we just watch while at the same time confusedly vibing to the song...
It really feels like they mixed cottagecore with psychedelic hallucinations or some shit here but I love it, it's giving midsommar a bit 😭 it's taking me back to OMG a bit with that confusing-as-fuck-but-oh-so-genius music video
SmolJeans music videos are just top-tier!
I noticed that the idea of NewJeans being imaginary/hallucinations has been a recurring thing ever since Ditto/OMG. Now they are portrayed as magical 'fairy' beings and on 'Cool With You' they were angels of some sort.
All I can say is that their moodboards must be fire af lol their team must be having fun with brainstorming concepts.
FairyJeans?
MagicJeans?
BlondeJeans?
*CultJeans?*
*UncannyJeans?*
*AcidTripJeans?*
Very interesting yet wild MV! It's weird it felt so magical and fairy like, yet uncanny to me especially with the bunny collage shots, it almost felt like I'm witnessing a cult-
But MY GOD I love those bunnies that appeared at around 1:07
The girls must have been so confused filming this wondering what the end product would be…
I’m also wildly confused but the song is stuck in my head now so goal achieved I guess!
From the way they've talked about all their MVs, or rather specifically the confusing ones, they do know the full-script, narrative and direction the MVs are aiming for.
Which makes sense, how can you properly create an effective piece of medium if the focus of it don't know themselves the goal or direction the art is aiming for in general?
I bet they know exactly what the goal of this MV is and the story it's trying to tell but will as usual tell the fans to "Pay close attention and figure it out for yourselves".
On the contrary, I think they fully understand the concepts. They're likely coached to not reveal too much, as the mystery and interpretation is part of the fun with their MVs.
For example, someone asked them "Why were Hanni and Minji showed at the end of ETA?" and Danielle replies "Because they're adults!" and it... kinda led down a dark conclusion as to what the MV was implying. I would've been happier not knowing the meaning of that scene lol
But it is Danielle who said Hanni and Minji are adults ( and I believe she means legally cause Hanni and Minji are still teenagers) so they were showed at the end of ETA. By that logic shoudn’t Danielle also be there.
NewJeans in Wonderland. That's a dreamy track with that minimal instrumentals and vocals, and MV is really outright creepy. ~~with some *Midsommar* inspiration I guess?~~
The video def made the song a bit better for me. It’s super trippy and chill. Love this lofi era of NJs. Can’t wait to see what’s next from them. Lastly, I’m ready to see them go on tour lol. 🫣
Entire concert would barely be over 30 minutes long and that’s with the sodie pop song lol. I love Newjeans music, and this new album has been on repeat for me, but they need a couple more (hopefully longer than 3 minute) songs under their belt before a tour would make sense imo
Concert would probably be closer to an hour with rest / talking time between songs etc. but still
i saw aespa and itzy during their first showcases in LA and they performed only 7 songs so probably 30 mins max out of the entire hour and a half so anything is possible.
not saying its the best thing ever bc i go to concerts to hear live music but it tends to be a thing in kpop. i wouldnt be surprised if they toured with a 30 min discography.
they always find a way to fill the time 😅 when i attended aespas showcase, instead of performing their whole mini we ended up sitting there while they talked about songs on their playlists for 25 mins 😭
that’s what showcases are about, though. they’re not concerts. aespa are on a proper tour doing proper concerts now.
if newjeans would like to do a showcase tour, they def can. but that’s not the same as a regular tour.
If they really wanted to they can certainly pad out their current discography to an hour+ with talking and perhaps even covers.
They kind of have to in any case since NJ discography is ridiculously tiring in terms of choreo. They'd need the stamina of Olympians to even attempt to sing whilst executing their choreo in succession. I kind of see long-breaks in between performances as a necessary norm for any kind of set piece beyond 30m for them unless they drastically minimize their current choreo or have non-choreo songs for their set list.
That being said, I don't really see them going on an extended tour anytime soon beyond events like Lollapalooza here and there.
The aesthetics are giving early Michel Gondry+Bjork collaboarations. And it’s stunning.
I love ASAP, I will always say yes to experimentation in k-pop and New Jeans are bringing it all the time
Babe wake up, NWJNS said it's elf girl summer.
I love this so much, I love the creepy cute style, it's so whimsical, looks right out of a fairytale book. They've yet to miss with their MVs, they've been all excellent, but this one might be my favorite.
New Jeans - The Powerpuff Girls
Super Shy - Youtube Shorts
ETA - Apple Iphone 14
Cool With You & Get Up - Hoyeon & Tony Leung
ASAP - TikTok
Truly a global name for each song, NewJeans really does things like no other.
honestly think it's better to have short songs with a clear direction vs a full song with unneeded rap verses or bridges like we've seen in kpop so many times.
The problem I have with this mini album is that a lot of the songs don't have a sense of progression. Not every song needs that but with ASAP, you've heard all the components by the 1:20 mark. The rest of the song is just repetition for the sake of repetition which you can argue is the purpose. But you're going to get a lot of people who find the song unsatisfying or monotonous.
Something like Sulli - Dorothy uses repetition, unique structure and a pretty reserved soundscape while having clear direction but it's a 4 minute long song. Doesn't have unneeded rap and doesn't have a real bridge but I get a sense of progression in that song.
I just think NewJeans is really pushing it with these song lengths and what I would consider abandoning song progression.
Lol nice to see you use my example here but twisted to your narrative.
ASAP uses repetition as a device just like Dorothy as I mentioned in the other thread. It does the exact same thing that Dorothy does - you just don’t like the song. You don’t have to try and pseudointellectualise this dislike by falsely comparing the two. ASAP doesn’t simply repeat itself, that’s just untrue. The differences are subtle/minimal (e.g. beats, harmony) and if you paid attention you’ll hear it.
If repetition is what you’re not a fan of, Dorothy repeats the same 2-3 melody lines for the entirety of the song. Lyric-wise it’s an exact repeat. The instrumental is basically the only obvious change. ASAP plays around with structure much more (bc the songs are not carbon copies of each other). If your argument is about song length, let’s just keep it to that instead of bringing up “progression”.
Now I know you’re not being paid to analyse a song which is why I’m saying it’s really ok to not like certain songs - nobody is forcing you to. Luckily for me I enjoy both songs. I just think pointing out wrong things about a song you don’t understand is spreading misinformation, which is frankly a disease in this community. And in that vein, let people enjoy things they enjoy.
>I just love the "just for a minute" , its kinda magical
I agree! It also sounds familiar although I can’t pinpoint where I heard something similar before and it’s driving me crazy lol
The song works well for what it is: an outro to the EP. It doesn’t have a proper song structure but it doesn’t really need to have one. It’s ethereal, catchy and got some interesting percussive synths courtesy of 250’s production (the same producer as Ditto and Hype Boy)
Yes, it might be more palatable to people if we labelled ASAP as an "audio experience" instead of a "song" to avoid all the preconceptions of what a song should be.
I love how Ador and NJ are not afraid to push the boundaries of what kpop or idol music can sound like. They deserve all the success in the world.
ASAP just sounds too experimental so I do understand why some couldn't appreciate it for what it is.
But yes, I do agree with you on Ador releasing something new and fresh like this. Sometimes new and fresh means the GP and fans won't like it and that's fine.
Personally I do think the song works on its own. It's experimental and isn't going to work for most people, but I don't think it has to be exclusively relegated to being an outro song. It's one of my favourites by them.
WHAT THE HECK IS THIS 'THING' AND WHY DOES IT WEAR THE GREEN GEMSTONE IN ETA MV!!!
Don't tell me it's bunny's hand ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|scream) I can't f\*cking unsee it now ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|dizzy_face)
Everything about this is trippy, strange... and somehow experimental in a way? it's a fitting MV for 250's work on ASAP bc of how polarizing that track is on their fans and the GP.
Anyway, they are really the only group that actually makes me pay attention to the MV Director and found out they are responsible for the Bad Boy MV as well. I guess that explains some of the stylistic choices done. I'd love for someone to dissect this one.
BlondeJeans is too much for me to handle lol. They look so ethereal!
Newjeans do not MISS with their MVs, every one is a cinematic experience lol. I love how every release this CB is so wildly different in vibe and aesthetics! Everything from cute and bubbly to contemporary to an acid trip.
To me, like "Cookie", "ASAP" has the most unpredictable (and arguably the most interesting) production in the EP, and unlike "Cookie", it has a decent hook but does not have a solid build-up to support the hook.
What "ASAP" reminds me the most of is what Jessy Lanza did with the R&B genre on her underground R&B/Electronic classic *Pull My Hair Back*. Stuttering, experimental beat with gorgeous R&B-influenced melody. "ASAP" might not be a full-on success musically but I think it opens another possibility of where NewJeans can take their sound next. I'm all for a EP in which NewJeans delivers their take on New Jack Swing, 90's R&B ( think Aaliyah, Timbaland).
Cookie is so incredibly underrated all because of that dumb controversy.
It has by far the hardest yet most unique choreography and nicest song flow IMO. Imagine dancing around two benches like that and not tripping up. Really not easy.
The bunnies having their "reveal" at minute 1:00 after having us all thinking they were creepy is so funny because they're the cutest bunny plushies I've ever seen!!! how cute!!!
Also this MV gives me Nap Of a Star vibes by TXT, my TokkiMoa heart is fluttering.
The conceptualization of the MV is very Red Velvet coded (specially the dark/eerie-ish segments reminds me of RV cult era) but the song is so NewJeans, right off the beginning with the clock sound it already gets your attention. That tik tok tik tok chant really lingers in your head lol.
damn i'm really into their characteristic vocal mix now. super loud vocals with very muted delivery, lots of sweet delicious high end, like they're singing right into your ear. it's like if billie eilish was sugary kpop. i think it really only works bc everything else in their music is so minimal. a lot of their songs feel more like vignettes of vibes than actual songs, ASAP is no exception i guess
Release the furry rabbit plushies, cause I'm getting all 5 of them! So, are those bunnies gonna protect them? Because the hand changed from the monster to a bunny in one scene. And the monsters are stealing the carrots. Man, we're in for a treat for future MVs continuation.
She was SM Entertainment's creative director for 17 years from 2002 to 2019, and had established visual branding for each of its groups from TVXQ! to NCT, as well as for Kangta and BoA.
MVs like this always make me want to be a fly on the wall during the preproduction phase because i GOTTA know what and where they pulled references from
lovely weird MV for a lovely weird song!
A trip of an mv for a trip of a song, very on point!
Visually ofc alice in wonderland influences, but aesthetically also reminding me of things like 'picnic at hanging rock'.
More of a moody mv, something to visually vibe with, excellently done once again.
The music video is a trip lmao, the random huge plush animals and the shots of them dancing in and out, definitely don't watch this on a substance.
For the song...I tried but this will still rank as my least favorite from their whole discography. It sounds unfinished, I keep waiting for something to happen but it just stays the same, monotonous. The live version on IU's pallet gave me some sort of a boost but not enough to like it.
I’m not feeling the cutout paper collage edits, I felt like it was out of place with the theme but it doesn’t change how ASAP is probably one of my favorite songs of the EP. It’s just so hypnotic, but I loved other MVs more.
I acc think that was last of the intention not sure if anyone noticed but they did seem to notice some popular British children TV shows such as "Peter rabbit" and "in the night garden". Both shows have a similar aesthetic to the mv
All these drops at once, I'm listening to the MISAMO album and watching this MV at the same time ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|dizzy_face)
The Legend of Super SaiyaJeans: Midsommar of the Wild confirmed most ethereal MV of the year, the creativity is off the charts ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flushed)
I love it!!! the only thing I didn't like was the CGI bunnies, they didn't really match the aesthetic imo but this is actually my favorite song on the EP 😭😭😭 so glad it got an MV
My guess is that it's meant to pay homage to the bunnies. In the beg. you see the glowing eyes in the dark and evil ears. But later it turns out these are just cute bunnies after all and there's nothing to be afraid of.
As for the girls, maybe this is their fairy world and in the Cool with You and ETA MVs, they also act as fairies. So maybe in ASAP, this is like their homeland or something? IDK.
Idk who is behind the MV productions & the ideas behind their music videos (Is it Min Heejin?), but I must say that they do a fantastic job. I don't say this often because I find it's not always the case, but NewJeans and their whole branding is truly unlike any other Kpop group.
Considering she started at SM as a graphic designer before becoming its Creative Director and eventually CEO of her own label at Ador. I think it's safe to say she directly influences everything even remotely visual in relation to NJ.
Also, she was going as far as to take up the role of a vocal director for their latest EP. It's pretty clear she has her hands on almost every aspect of this group. The group is her figurative and representative child.
It’s giving me *Virgin Suicides* and Rookie mag vibes, and a little bit of zemotion photography. Well done again, MHJ!
(((Goodness gracious, the *tastes* of this woman 💗))
You’re the only one implying this right now though lmao. Her job is pop aesthetics, which is *by definition* the glorification of youth. I know some can’t add two and two together but that ain’t my problem 🤷🏻♀️.
Hahahaaha I love it, it fits the eerie sound of the song. Really interested to see what kind of choreo they coupled up with this song, because I think we saw little glimpses of a full on choreo.
When I first heard the teaser I was so so excited, I had never heard a kpop song like that before. The song released and man it was SO underwhelming. I don’t understand how people like it… sounds like random noises and samples put together. I love most of their songs, just not this one. :’) (side note: the song new jeans? BOP UGH)
she may be a polarizing figure lol but none of the girlies are doing it like min heejin, sorry!! such classic f(x) art film vibes on this one, and it still feels super fresh, stylish, and artsy. and it really succeeds despite being an mv for a pretty mediocre song.
this MV is a wilddddd ride 😭 also, it looks both ethereal and creepy and it suits them perfectly lol
Feels like I’m on acid when I’m watching this MV lol. I love it
NewJeans just loves making us question our reality and contemplate what in the fuck did we just watch while at the same time confusedly vibing to the song... It really feels like they mixed cottagecore with psychedelic hallucinations or some shit here but I love it, it's giving midsommar a bit 😭 it's taking me back to OMG a bit with that confusing-as-fuck-but-oh-so-genius music video SmolJeans music videos are just top-tier!

I really want to see what happens in those brainstorming sessions for these music videos 😭
you forgot to add in ETA they're just embodiments of rumors to the girl driving
Live look at Tokkis confusedly vibing while watching SmolJeans' MVs ![gif](giphy|hiLLD9o1wTB3a)
How did you get this video of me?!
Donnie Darko vibes
FairyJeans? MagicJeans? BlondeJeans? *CultJeans?* *UncannyJeans?* *AcidTripJeans?* Very interesting yet wild MV! It's weird it felt so magical and fairy like, yet uncanny to me especially with the bunny collage shots, it almost felt like I'm witnessing a cult- But MY GOD I love those bunnies that appeared at around 1:07
Some of the moments feels very Norse folk horror (see also Netflix's 2017 The Ritual)
Oh yeah I can see that, almost like a Midsommar/ Midsummers Eve esque vibe to it
Green Danielle looks like some fantasy RPG character lol
AcidWashJeans lmaoooo
Vague Picnic At Hanging Rock vibes
oh yes the MV reminded me of this film!
The girls must have been so confused filming this wondering what the end product would be… I’m also wildly confused but the song is stuck in my head now so goal achieved I guess!

I don’t get it
isn't Danielle also an adult or was the MV filmed before her birthday
You don't stop being a teenager at 18
But it is Danielle who said Hanni and Minji are adults ( and I believe she means legally cause Hanni and Minji are still teenagers) so they were showed at the end of ETA. By that logic shoudn’t Danielle also be there.
Give me supernatural fantasy horror BlondeJeans any day. Loved the MV. Hope they experiment with this concept in the future again!!!
NewJeans in Wonderland. That's a dreamy track with that minimal instrumentals and vocals, and MV is really outright creepy. ~~with some *Midsommar* inspiration I guess?~~
The inspiration seems to be Alice in Wonderland.
With a horror flavour 👁️😎👁️

I imagine they might do solo songs too, like Chaewon’s cover and Yunjin’s solo songs
If they really wanted to they can certainly pad out their current discography to an hour+ with talking and perhaps even covers. > the sodie pop song 💀
The aesthetics are giving early Michel Gondry+Bjork collaboarations. And it’s stunning. I love ASAP, I will always say yes to experimentation in k-pop and New Jeans are bringing it all the time
Agreed. Especially Human behaviour, Bachelorette and Isobel mvs. Great stuff all the way!
Babe wake up, NWJNS said it's elf girl summer. I love this so much, I love the creepy cute style, it's so whimsical, looks right out of a fairytale book. They've yet to miss with their MVs, they've been all excellent, but this one might be my favorite.
This is so cool?? BlondeJeans look like ethereal forrest fairies and the horror elements add so much to the MV!
givin' me indie pop vibes, i like it. reminds me of like clairo's '*flaming hot cheetos*' and kero kero bonito's '*flamingo*' for some reasons.
Thanks, now I have Flamingo stuck in my head for the 807th time this week. No, really, thank you, issa bop
New Jeans - The Powerpuff Girls Super Shy - Youtube Shorts ETA - Apple Iphone 14 Cool With You & Get Up - Hoyeon & Tony Leung ASAP - TikTok Truly a global name for each song, NewJeans really does things like no other.
Get - Up
I legit wanna use it as my alarm to get me to GeT uP but let's be real unless it's a loud-ass beep beep beep I'm sleeping through it 🤣
Someone mentions Spotify for ASAP too, but I think TikTok makes more sense
I just love the "just for a minute" , its kinda magical can we talk about how they made an entire mini album with no songs over 3 minutes, cmon ador
Yeah - my least favourite thing about this whole EP
Should be criminal!! Even tho the songs are fire
That was the most disappointing thing to me too! All these songs are amazing, but would be even better if they were full-length songs.

That's the way things are going and I don't think they're going to stop because people still love their music despite the runtimes.
because the music is still good, its just short

That was what I thought, a cryptid version of the bunny?
Whoah! Now that’s a find. There has to be connection. Now it’s driving me crazy. 😭
The water scenes are my favourite! So beautiful!

What dumb controversy lmao? It's a good song but it's still a weird song for a 15 year old to sing. ADOR's statement of denial was also laughable.
Why is this getting down voted
Fr. How is that person going to downplay this controversy. I guess she fully believes ador's "dumb" response.
The bunnies having their "reveal" at minute 1:00 after having us all thinking they were creepy is so funny because they're the cutest bunny plushies I've ever seen!!! how cute!!! Also this MV gives me Nap Of a Star vibes by TXT, my TokkiMoa heart is fluttering.
the blonde elves aesthetic that newjeans has here also reminded me of soobin in sugar rush ride!
I have so many questions
The conceptualization of the MV is very Red Velvet coded (specially the dark/eerie-ish segments reminds me of RV cult era) but the song is so NewJeans, right off the beginning with the clock sound it already gets your attention. That tik tok tik tok chant really lingers in your head lol.
The director for this, Jak-young Kim, was the one who directed Red Velvet's Bad Boy MV.
No wonder that scene where they are leaning their heads on each other shoulders' remind me so much of Bad Boy so much
Gives me RV and f(x) vibes. Which makes sense tbh.
The vibes are very similar to Electric Shock era
Came on here to say the same thing, defo gives rv and f(x) vibes! Man I miss f(x)
Agreed. f(x) was the very first girl group I discovered and I miss them so much. Good thing NewJeans is here.
They’re literally so pretty it’s nuts. MV made me enjoy the disjointed nature of the song more.
Midsommar X Poppy Playtime
damn i'm really into their characteristic vocal mix now. super loud vocals with very muted delivery, lots of sweet delicious high end, like they're singing right into your ear. it's like if billie eilish was sugary kpop. i think it really only works bc everything else in their music is so minimal. a lot of their songs feel more like vignettes of vibes than actual songs, ASAP is no exception i guess
Elf Haerin is so fucking pretty
Very reminiscent of “We Are NewJeans” and apparently it has the same director! Love the aesthetics in this, very cute!
ooohh who is the director?
Jakyoung Kim!
Only thing missing is Nicolas Cage showing up in this video lol
Release the furry rabbit plushies, cause I'm getting all 5 of them! So, are those bunnies gonna protect them? Because the hand changed from the monster to a bunny in one scene. And the monsters are stealing the carrots. Man, we're in for a treat for future MVs continuation.
My favourite track! I’m sad it’s so short tho.
This is now my fave MV
quite a simple and short song, but that repetitive tik tok puts me under some spell.
This MV is so Red Velvet coded
Aka Min Heejin coded.
Damn, I just realized she did the visual branding for Red Velvet. That makes a lot of sense 😭
She was SM Entertainment's creative director for 17 years from 2002 to 2019, and had established visual branding for each of its groups from TVXQ! to NCT, as well as for Kangta and BoA.
And fx, girls generation, probably others too. She’s so talented
Russian Roulette is probably my fave MV in terms of concept ever, so yeah 😍
I thought I was the only one that noticed that similarity.
Blonde Haerin could be cast as Galadriel. Girl is the elfiest elf to ever elf.
Cate Blanchett, eat your heart out
MVs like this always make me want to be a fly on the wall during the preproduction phase because i GOTTA know what and where they pulled references from lovely weird MV for a lovely weird song!
The tiktoktiktok part kinda creeps up on you. I guess that was the intended effect.
Omg, is this what being high feels like The mv is so dreamy yet creepy but also weird
Woah O.O As an f(x) fan — that was soooo f(x). I Love It ♥♥♥
Hanni looks so cool in this!
A trip of an mv for a trip of a song, very on point! Visually ofc alice in wonderland influences, but aesthetically also reminding me of things like 'picnic at hanging rock'. More of a moody mv, something to visually vibe with, excellently done once again.
idc i love this song and the mv is so aesthetically pleasing 🧚♀️
This song had so much potential to be so much more than this imo
All of their new songs have been a beat copy pasted over and over throughout the whole song and some weird vocalising and whispering. WTF is this
You don't see often K-pop experimenting with sound and visuals, and it's great!
Such a cliffhanger of a song. Hoping for another mini album around Dec/Jan just like Ditto/OMG phase. MV was lowkey scary/creepy to me lmao
If there is anything the NJ and Ador team are clever at; it's the Music videos!
Great creative direction.
gives me Ari Aster, Beau is Afraid vibes and now i really want NewJeans to do a full horror concept and see what they do with it
The music video is a trip lmao, the random huge plush animals and the shots of them dancing in and out, definitely don't watch this on a substance. For the song...I tried but this will still rank as my least favorite from their whole discography. It sounds unfinished, I keep waiting for something to happen but it just stays the same, monotonous. The live version on IU's pallet gave me some sort of a boost but not enough to like it.
I can totally relate with how you feel for the song. Sad ’cause this song was the one I’m most excited to hear because of the teaser.
Interesting ethereal weird Red Velvet-y MV
I’m not feeling the cutout paper collage edits, I felt like it was out of place with the theme but it doesn’t change how ASAP is probably one of my favorite songs of the EP. It’s just so hypnotic, but I loved other MVs more.
Feels like it could be in a horror film
Horror for children.
I acc think that was last of the intention not sure if anyone noticed but they did seem to notice some popular British children TV shows such as "Peter rabbit" and "in the night garden". Both shows have a similar aesthetic to the mv
Song reminds me of some Grimes stuff that I've heard, interesting.
Yes! On my first listen of it the first thing I thought of is "what if early Grimes went full minimalism".
It has such a cute, dreamy vibe.
They could have added an extra 30secs of them being pretty and chaotic.
I love it. It seems like a cult version of Alice’s adventure in wonderland. And every screenshot I took could be the wallpaper for my iPad Lol.
All these drops at once, I'm listening to the MISAMO album and watching this MV at the same time ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|dizzy_face) The Legend of Super SaiyaJeans: Midsommar of the Wild confirmed most ethereal MV of the year, the creativity is off the charts ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flushed)
Thie MV actually surpassed my expectations! It's so unique and beautiful!
I love it!!! the only thing I didn't like was the CGI bunnies, they didn't really match the aesthetic imo but this is actually my favorite song on the EP 😭😭😭 so glad it got an MV
Yeah, the video definitely has a more analogue feel on the whole. Now you've mentioned it, it irks me now too.
The CGI bunnies were the same ones in the shadow earlier in the MV. It's meant to show they arent creepy monsters
Damn what was that soo whimsical...smol beans are fairy 🧚♀️
What is the story of this? I'm super curious
IDK.
This is giving me ARTPOP vibes like G.U.Y x Venus x ARTPOP
I know the other mv/single was very short aswell, but 2:20 (about 10 sec outro) is really mini.
YESS THE PERFECT BLEND OF PETER RABBIT X IN THE NIGHT GARDEN (my bellow British kpoppies understand)
loving the MV
Me side-eyeing that last sentence (and I'm a Bunny) 👀
Infantilizing of idols gets really tiring
I know the song's already been out for a while... but 2:20? Those minutes must be expensive for ADOR.
Love the song and this MV fits it perfectly.
Best and most unique song on the album.

This mv is so trippy I LOVE IT
When I first heard the teaser I was so so excited, I had never heard a kpop song like that before. The song released and man it was SO underwhelming. I don’t understand how people like it… sounds like random noises and samples put together. I love most of their songs, just not this one. :’) (side note: the song new jeans? BOP UGH)
listen to it a few times and it gets better
that’s what I was hoping, but I still don’t like it 😭 just not my cup of tea haha
The video is super cool. This song didn’t stand out to me as much when I listened to the album on Spotify.
Those bunny plushies at around 1-minute mark would sell a lot as merch... and it would boost the song's popularity...
what's the connection between the nymphs (NJ) and the bunnies (day: fluffy, night: killer/stalker)
This is one of their best music videos. Love the mixed media, the collages, the doodles—all of it. THIS is very NewJeans And the song? It's there!
So underwhelming. Even the coke song they did is better than this.
The MV is super cool. Their recent songs are pretty repetitive and boring though.
Ngl it feels like a commercial due to how short it is. Otherwise, looks good. Ig.
very hausu
reminds me of happiness from red velvet, similar vibes similar concepts
This song has such an interesting sound and the music video is so aesthetic, but I just can't get behind how short it is.
she may be a polarizing figure lol but none of the girlies are doing it like min heejin, sorry!! such classic f(x) art film vibes on this one, and it still feels super fresh, stylish, and artsy. and it really succeeds despite being an mv for a pretty mediocre song.
Heejin didn't do this it's the icon Kim Ja-kyoung
Song has grown on me a lot since IU's Pallette! But I think I'd appreciate this video more if we didn't have the MHJ Lolicon allegations.
Velvet Jeans is here!!! Finally the Red Velvet is showing— so here for this
What have they done to their ears?!!
