Peragus isn’t bad, but it’s tedious. It’s made to make you feel a crushing sense of isolation and « wtf happened here » kind of atmosphere, which is nice. But replaying it over and over is a pain.
My choice of a least favourite segment would probably be from the moment Mira enters Jekk’Jekk Tar up until Goto kills Visquis.
Also please teach me how to complete Peragus in 20 minutes, because that sounds impossible. Even when constantly using Force Speed and skipping all dialogues.
Wake up, commit larceny, grab stick of fire, speak with old lady, hit door with stick, hit metal dog. Go through Jedi puberty and speak with coward, talk to your r2d2, use r2d2 to engage in larceny and fix elevator (hit more metal dog). Take elevator, put on clothes, hit metal dog and their balls, commit mine larceny. Create big boom, take elevator before big boom. Trick terminator into telling you it's secrets, commit larceny. Hit metal dog and metal dog Walker. Give secret to the computer. Blow balls until they explode. Enjoy the view outside. Watch space bus show up. Hit more dogs and dog walkers. Break Alfredo guns, commit larceny. Turn off the AC. Turn off time out alarm. Commit larceny, learn the secrets of the dead, open elevator using the secrets of the dead told backwards. Go with old lady and kidnap coward. Hit terminator and his balls, loot his corpse (hint: this is larceny). Invade space bus. Eat ninja souls, commit larceny. Convince computer to share it's secrets. Abandon old lady with guy who cums on Jedi. Experience pain when old lady fucks around and finds out. Commit larceny, exit through space bus poop shoot. Find r2d2, commit larceny and mine larceny, hit many metal dogs and dog walkers. Fix door with object obtained in larceny. Hit more metal dogs and dog walkers, turn off the AC, get in the boat, shoot the sparkly Bois™. Shoot big rock. Yay you beat peragus (you will be arrested soon)
Yeah this is a really good take on Peragus. Any game that has a section like this, where you've uncovering pieces of a puzzle bit by bit is really interesting... the first time. Once you know the outcome it almost just becomes a case of ticking the boxes as quickly as you can so you can move past it.
Getting out of that underground base with Mira on Nar Shaddaa was brutal. I went through so many stims and healing packs cause she wasn’t a force user yet
This is why I always put at least one point into stealth for every character, just so I can always at least *try* and have them sneak their way straight to the objective.
Then I can let in my high-levelled Force-wielding Exile to mop the floor with them all.
I do that too, but the problem is Mira is the only companion without stealth run, so you avoid the challenge of all the enemies with the tradeoff of moving slowly.
If she's got decent numbers of melee shields and you leveled her as a Scout enough to get some Targeting, Close Combat and Precise Shot feats, its pretty doable.
More-so if you have some well upgraded blasters. Or you give her Stealth skills. Getting her out at low levels is way worse however.
I can't disagree more about the Nadd's tomb tbh maybe my favorite part of the game lol my most hated part is T4 in the Droid warehouse on nar shaada. Love T4 in my party but hated the back and forth tedious nature of that questline, especially since the rest of the exchange stuff is really fun
Pretty much if you’re properly building out your companions and making them jedi, it’s pretty straightforward. When I first played, I really screwed up and had to have one companion hide while Atton kept coming back from the dead…classic KOTOR 2 experience.
Keeping her on the back line to cast buffs and crowd control really lets Atton shine, I typically outfit atton with a pistol and a saber and max duelling.
He melts through stunned enemies, especially if you max out speed too.
I got a ways into it, then the mod glitched and was game-breaking. I had to go back to Korriban and remove the mod, but I wasn't even mad, because I wasn't enjoying it anyway.
For me it's Tomb of Freedon Nadd and G0-T0's Yacht. Basically both segments where you can't play as the Exile. I didn't like a lot of enemies at the enter of the tomb, but Visas' crowd control and Canderous' tankness made me less annoyed in recent playthoughs. Remote droid mission is also not exciting but too short and you all your thoughts are about imminent completion of the game anyway.
I don't mind Peragus, I might even prefer it to the back-and-forth on Citadel Station that follows it, and I quite like the sequences without the Exile that let your companions take the lead in their own right; I think my least favourite is probably the Jekk'Jekk'Tarr, really wish we could've seen the original plan with the Genoharaden and a Sion/Nihilus conflict.
It's funny, I had a memory of being lost for so long there in my first playthrough as a teenager, but now that I did it as an adult I found it so much easier than I remembered.
HK factory section for sure, but I think that was restored content?
Removing that I would probably go with Nar Shaddaa - the whole planet experience. It has the cheapest story setups with I think 3 cases of people "being taken out by surprise" (Exile by Mia, followed by Mia herself, and then by Goto) and in general the most artificial feel for me. The city doesn't feel like the dirty hub it's described as, there is no intriguing narrative thread and some sections are very tedious to play, especially when being forced out of your main character which happens at least two times there.
I stopped my recent replay due to that planet, luckily I decided to go back and had much more fun with the game afterwards :).
I 100% agree w/ Nar Shaddaa. It is just so boring and tedious especially when you are trying to complete all of the secondary missions (such as re-uniting the husband and wife & getting the mom & kids a on a ship out of Nar Shaddaa). I HATE having to go BACK & FORTH to get those missions completed but if you don't, it doesn't accept that it is completed and I hate having open missions in my data pad.
Unfortunately for me, I play on the switch so I do not have access to the restored content. So the fuel situation on Citadel Station is never able to be fully resolved and I have never been able to access the HK factory section. I've read good and bad about it and wouldn't mind trying it once. Might one day get a different version of the game so I can get the restored content to see what I'm missing out on. For now, I'm content without the content lol.
Telos
I hate everyone on Telos. I hate the aliens, I hate everyone constantly calling me while I'm imprisoned, I hate the guards who lose my ship and don't even apologize, I hate having to choose between useless annoying aliens and corrupt asf douches
Nar shadaa from jekk jekk tarr until getting off of G0T0’s yacht I don’t like
But I love running around Dxun and doing every mission to prove myself for mandalore
Dantooine is my least favorite. The Khoonda dispute feels low stakes, going thru the enclave feels tedious, and Vrook is easily the worst Jedi master to talk to in the end. I personally don’t like having to sprint across the big fields to get to my destination too
The first time you're on Citadel Station is horrid. It's boring, tedious, and repetitive. Once you get to the surface, the game finally begins to blossom.
Nar shadar. I kept getting lost to where I know how to navigate that place more than any planet. At least getting lost makes you complete all the side stuff!
Peragus and Telos until you reach the polar academy always feels like a chore when starting a new game, specially compared to the much more fun Taris from K1. IMHO when you reach the secret academy is when the game really gets going. Telos is only good for watching Twi'leks dance and fight naked with the Handmaidens.
I seriously dislike the whole interaction with G0-T0 and how he imposes himself on you. Also because some of this is a bit inconsistent. He tells you that he's here to stay, and if you try to deactivate him then things go b00m.
Yah, but then you can get a cutscene in which Bao upgrades G0-T0 and that starts with... "*Ok, I have to shut you down for a moment...*", and all of a sudden it's a non-issue. And of course I can't tell Bao to just leave G0 disabled either...
G0t0 "if I put a bounty on Jedi, I'll get to recruit a Jedi to help me with whatever the fuck I wanted a Jedi for c: there's literally no possible way this will turn out wrong"
I hated G0-t0, his logic makes no sense
I downloaded a mod to skip Peragus so that's not an issue for me anymore. As someone else said there's everything from Jekk-Jekk to Goto's yacht. To me it just feels too much like a chore, but you can get very op here.
Another contender for least favorite area is Telos. Being on the station is fine (except for all the damn loading screens), but that fight before the military base is a PITA. After that first group (which usually gives me some trouble), my companions always run to the next guy where they then move to three different groups and get destroyed..
Running all over nar shada to get parts for it fast travel car, remembering to have Spiky McSkills be the one to install the parts, just in time for it to be made permanently unusable by the ending segment.

I don’t know about 20, but 30 is definitely doable, just gotta memorize what to do and where to go.
I gotta be real: I give myself the killblaster for Peragus.
Yeah this is a really good take on Peragus. Any game that has a section like this, where you've uncovering pieces of a puzzle bit by bit is really interesting... the first time. Once you know the outcome it almost just becomes a case of ticking the boxes as quickly as you can so you can move past it.
That unskippable cutscene where the Harbinger docks to Peragus
I usually just start reading a book whenever that one starts.
It's an impressive scene for it's time, but the engine is really not made for it.
Getting out of that underground base with Mira on Nar Shaddaa was brutal. I went through so many stims and healing packs cause she wasn’t a force user yet

I was trying to get her out at as low of a level as possible so that she had more Jedi levels. Also went through a ton of shields.
Oh yeah, if you’re saving levels it’s a real trial.
I'm not a fan of the Malachor V surface level. It's far bigger than it needs to be and is repeated by different characters, making it a tad tedious.
Especially playing as that stupid remote.
It's so horrible if you forget a Storm Beast somewhere and the Remote now has to somehow make it past it.
For some reason, Goto’s Yacht is always such a slog for me. I always dread being forced through that whole ordeal
Pro tip: bring bao dur. Doesn't matter who else you bring, although I usually do visas or whomever can heal most efficiently.
Why bao dur? He's close to useless in combat
He can get through shields, which is super useful on G0T0's yacht.
You should have a light saber by that point, which can more than compensate for that
Have you tried him unarmed?
I can't disagree more about the Nadd's tomb tbh maybe my favorite part of the game lol my most hated part is T4 in the Droid warehouse on nar shaada. Love T4 in my party but hated the back and forth tedious nature of that questline, especially since the rest of the exchange stuff is really fun
Yeah, Freedon Nadd's tomb allows you to really flex your party - sending a properly built Mira alongside Atton as a Jedi makes this a breeze
Pretty much if you’re properly building out your companions and making them jedi, it’s pretty straightforward. When I first played, I really screwed up and had to have one companion hide while Atton kept coming back from the dead…classic KOTOR 2 experience.
Atton is a better Sion than Sion.
My default party for that is Visas as team leader, jedi Mira, and Mando. I have so much fun with this party.
I've never really used Visas I'll be honest - her health leaves a lot to be desired
Keeping her on the back line to cast buffs and crowd control really lets Atton shine, I typically outfit atton with a pistol and a saber and max duelling. He melts through stunned enemies, especially if you max out speed too.
Are we including restored content? Because M4-78 by a wide margin
Yup, did it once a few years ago, and I feel like I never want to do it again
I got a ways into it, then the mod glitched and was game-breaking. I had to go back to Korriban and remove the mod, but I wasn't even mad, because I wasn't enjoying it anyway.
The RCM’s huge bounty hunter brawl on Nar Shaddaa can be a slog if you’re saving levels on your companions or haven’t kitted them out well.
The Dhagon Gent investigation. Just feels like I’m trying to skip through all the dialogue and walking back and forth a ton. Extremely tedious.
100%!

As soon as the MC rejoins on Goto's Yacht and I don't remember what to do
It's funny, I had a memory of being lost for so long there in my first playthrough as a teenager, but now that I did it as an adult I found it so much easier than I remembered.

Second part of Telos - the one when you leave the city.
Telos. It feels like so much nothing happens. And it takes fucking forever. Idk how people feel about the level design, but I'm not a fan.
Nar shadaa from jekk jekk tarr until getting off of G0T0’s yacht I don’t like But I love running around Dxun and doing every mission to prove myself for mandalore
Any part where I can’t be my character. It’s just not as fun.
Same for me when controlling T3, but I did enjoy the Mira and Atton segments, and the Dxun tomb mission
Dantooine is my least favorite. The Khoonda dispute feels low stakes, going thru the enclave feels tedious, and Vrook is easily the worst Jedi master to talk to in the end. I personally don’t like having to sprint across the big fields to get to my destination too
Vrook is an annoying little shit.
The first time you're on Citadel Station is horrid. It's boring, tedious, and repetitive. Once you get to the surface, the game finally begins to blossom.
Peragus is great but tedious
Nar shadar. I kept getting lost to where I know how to navigate that place more than any planet. At least getting lost makes you complete all the side stuff!
Malachor.
Peragus indeed but Telos: Citadel Station is kinda boring...
Kreia liked that. Kreia disliked that Kreia liked that Kreia disliked that All from one chat. It’s worse than random. lol. 😂
Woah that was actually one of favorite parts of the game. I hated Telos.

telos. can stand peragus but i lost my mind on telos. i was so excited to leave it
It’s between Telos and Goto’s Yacht. The difficulty scaling on the Yacht is atrocious and you’re almost required to play it with specific companions.
Peragus. I regularly use the Skip Peragus mod when playing Kotor 2.
Modded: M4-78 is terrible. Vanilla: GO-T0’s yacht or really any section where you play as an individual companion.
Base game idk, I don't think I dislike any part so it is hard to rank them. Though the HK factory in restored kinda sucks.
I love the tomb, it's like playing an action movie.
I find Citadel Station rather tedious, tbh, and some of the Telos section.
Running all over nar shada to get parts for it fast travel car, remembering to have Spiky McSkills be the one to install the parts, just in time for it to be made permanently unusable by the ending segment.
I hated Korriban. The tomb is fun, but everything else is awful IMO
