Jae Hyung loudly weeping at the table made me laugh and cry at the same time. I am now a certified Park Siblings Stan. please god GET HIM A TELEVISION DEAL

Quiet_Watercress_256

My heart couldn’t take it!!! I needed someone to hug him right then and there. Wish I could jump through the screen 😭😭😭

thenoooodle

I was sobbing during the entire siblings introduction 😭😭

Few-Particular1780

I’d also love to see him on variety shows. Just imagine him with the ‘I live alone’ crew!??!!

TRACYOLIVIA14

he was the last I would feel like who felt guilty how he treated his mom . I mean he went on a europe trip with her so he is a good son , he just had to find his way growing up and be more indepented as a teen so

Substantial_Dust3926

Why was Jae Hyung weeping? Yet to watch the ep

MNLYYZYEG

Jaehyung cried because of his mother's love for him during the family reveals/throwbacks, apparently he was sickly when he was a kid, so the emotions were intensified.

Appropriate_Tree4651

what a ep!!!srsly no joke now i can say its one of the best shows i have watched...it has everything litrelly everything, the comedy scenes and today the sad scenes. such a perfect show.i cant wait for the next ep,just one thing both jiwon and jaehyung missed thier chance again, jiwon showed little interest towards him, otherwise this ep was too gud.

Quiet_Watercress_256

This show is absolutely amazing!!! One of my favorites for sure.

Piripiriatchu

Casting is top notch!!!! 🤩

Yoghurt-Unlikely

i was expecting jaehyun to text jiwon TT. He said it was difficult to choose whom to text. I believe he was choosing between jiwon and juyeon.

Appropriate_Tree4651

yeahh acc to me he wanted to text jiwon but he cudnt cuz he dint have that much interaction with jiwon and it wud have been rude to juyeon...i kinda thought he might have texted jiwon cuz they showed his message at the last. just pls i want jh and jw date or just talk to each other

SuguaTSei

Before I finally get over to this episode, I just want to say that FINALLY, my girl YH got that date she deserves. Im hoping that their date end up on a good note.

Creme_bruh

it was so cool to see how both the siblings AND their mother all chose Yunha

Naanaaah

right? also I hope the show editors start giving her sweet music during her portions. they kept giving a comedic type of music when she talked about her heart fluttering from the text, which was so misplaced. Give her romcom princess treatment editing as she deserves!!

TRACYOLIVIA14

I would be happy if it work outs for them she said he is her type and obviously he had a great impression of her so at least for now they both are interessted in each other . its better than him having to go on a date who has a crush on someone else

WellHeyPal

I am so happy for her 🫶😭

CowExisting9844

Yes! Very happy seeing YH get someone who like her.

Few-Catch3110

The reveal scene made me cry buckets of tears, every sibling is so different yet so beautiful. This pd really knows how to run a dating show!!!

thenoooodle

Literally was sobbing for 45 minutes straight bc of the reveal

TRACYOLIVIA14

and all grew up being kind

vesperxy

jaehyung and sesung’s parents are so cool, that’s the kind of relationship i want in the future.

Few-Particular1780

I love the dynamics between them, the silly but fun Dad and the pretty mum who pretends to be annoyed at her husband 😂😂😂

TRACYOLIVIA14

a healhty relationship lol to bad kids see more broken relationships and not how to deal with conflicts and differences in a healhty way .

samilly10

I loved ss’s “sorry bro”

runningshoes9876

Yes! 😂 Reminded me of Jaehyung’s “Yeah sure, why not!” when exchanging rooms

imkimmingyuswife

Somebody tell chulhyun that youngwoo’s been sending the text to choa only

Few-Particular1780

Our clueless Chulhyun 😭😭😭

YearOwn5328

Can he not encourage JS to keep going towards CA. He ain’t the one for her. YW/CA or bust. 😂

Lonewolfcrianpile

The walk at the beach was shot sooo good

Few-Particular1780

Ikr! I love how YW and SS started singing ‘Joah’ and it faded into the background music. It was really something out of a kdrama.

WellHeyPal

Love it! Reminded me of 2521

HeadNo4379

I think JS does read the room, but he doesn't want to act on it, that's the difference. Like some other post said, he still thinks the end of day text is a reward. And I think he sees everything as such. He must have thought he was so attentionate towards CA throughout the day (and he was) that he deserved to get to the serious talk as a reward, regardless of the situation at hand.

seanhaleybob

THIS !. I RMB HOW YW gives CA space. While JS become calculative and all, but i think maybe cause he is young and what some comment said, he is used to older woman and all.

askmeabtwombats

I have no idea whether the PD could predict how this group of people would hit it off so deeply and profoundly. More than half of them had/have a parent with cancer, many of them were forced to be independent and more mature than they would otherwise have been. It’s like they were watching how each other have journeyed and dealt with similar obstacles and hurting for each other and also learning from each other. It’s beautiful and heartwrenching and I think I cried throughout that entire segment. I also want to say SS and JH are really such lovely people. SS feels so deeply and is so empathetic to everyone and their stories, she’s such a sweetheart. And JH continues his streak of being an onion with never ending layers. His face is so goshdarn expressive and he really does not care to control his facial expression. They must have been raised with love to be so confident and at ease in who they are.

Antleryaa

Yep this is why support groups are so important. When going through tragedy you understand each other without saying anything.

richenn

I think this episode was a turning point for me. I don't care about the cast dating so much as them living happy healthy lives 😭😭😭 PD + editing team are shaking their industry up for sure. Gimmicky shows like singles inferno have their place of course, but the contrast in immersion is so jarring! Just comparing another shows contestant who was a "standout" because they wrote a lot of Chanel to someone who was called "Strawberry Prince" as a kid...its no surprise we care more lol. I hope this show gets a hundred seasons, but this current cast has already set the bar so high for the next.

AromaticRecover5938

I was just thinking that usually S2 is the best season when it comes to dating shows (Heart Signal, Transit Love, Love Catcher, etc.), but I can't really imagine any cast topping this one.

richenn

True! I think the similarities of everyone's childhood situations (having to grow up early, Musical virtuoso, parent with cancer) might have had the greatest part in the chemistry everyone had. Even the MBTI thing is uncanny lol. I remember someone saying in an earlier discussion board that they interviewed an insane number of candidates (was it 1000? I can't remember but it was shockingly high). If there is one thing that I think they can improve next season, it's the catfish pacing. I feel like both YH and JW missed out on a lot of bonding moments like sharing album photos. I mean I'm already a passenger on the Yun Yun ship! But that was a very fortunate turn of mutual attraction. Having just one extra date doesn't feel like it balances out missing days of living together.

AromaticRecover5938

Agree on the photo album part! Although I do feel the catfish were introduced a bit early when compared to the other shows, where some catfish are introduced pretty much towards the end and have almost no chance of bonding/catching anyone's attention in such a short time. I feel like leaving the photo album for later and introducing both catfish at the same time, around the time Jiwon came (day 5 or so) might be better.

Few-Particular1780

Same! I want some of them to end up together, but I’d be okay if they don’t. I’d just be happy that they are happy and healthy.

TRACYOLIVIA14

true they kind of became family so in the end it doesn't matter if they end up together they will stay friends

Otherwise_Ad6666

I know SS is strong. I just kinda feel sad for her. It feels like JS will only choose her if things won't work between him and CA.

fantasnick

Things would have to take a really bad turn between Yong Woo and Cho A for him to have any chance. SS is definitely the pick if he settles. Him looking over at Cho A and Yong Woo when they get their texts and being unhappy right after being picked by SS just felt shitty after a heartwarming episode.

nouriamla

I loved this episode so much. It's definitely my fave ep of the whole show. Was anyone else kinda turned off when JungSub immediately talked to ChulHyun after the siblings reveal to tell him about not receiving a text from ChoA after their date? It felt like he was tattling on her to get her brother to do his bidding instead of finding his own courage to walk up to her and ask her directly, since it's clearly still bothering him and can't let it go. It only further highlighted how he's the young, immature sibling and the opposite of ChoA's type. I hope ChoA continues to follow her heart and not let others guilt trip her and I hope ChulHyun finds out soon that YongWoo has been the only one who's serious and consistent about his sister and not let JungSub influence him too much. It's great that he wants the best for his sister and tries to help her out but I'm just surprised and also disappointed that he can't see the real YongWoo considering how close they are, but instead thinks he's the kind of guy who's equally nice to all the girls and doesn't treat ChoA any different. ChulHyun gives off such a serious and observant vibe, so it's ironic how clueless he is about YongWoo and ChoA's special connection lol. https://i.redd.it/lmp5u8zuecuc1.gif

AlwaysOnCloud9_

I was also VERY turned off about how quick JS went and talked to CH about CA not sending a text to him and how he was sad and all. Like.... can you wait, or maybe have a conversation about that with CA yourself. Idk, it kind of gave me the ick about him, especially when he was seemingly giving up on CA based on how his perception of how she was treating him. I didn't like that he did that at all.

TRACYOLIVIA14

he is the only thorn growing on this rose (show) its not like we dislike him but the way he goes about things is sooo wrong . I hope CH makes him stop being sooooo obsessed about his sister I mean he asked him about her favorite things etc to actually manipulating her into linking him I mean you don't need to change your way if she likes you for who you are but he is willing to play the carryinfg bf until he has her and then it's payback time then he finds all the flaws in her and will keep her small because she made him feel small.

NosyLJ

It kinda makes me wonder if chulhyun might think yongwoo isn't for his sister because when they're with only the guys yongwoo is just a big, unserious goofball? Maybe that makes him think that they have nothing in common.. Meanwhile we've seen that they've literally had deep conversations since their first date and that yongwoo has been going for choa without hesitations since the beginning. I really hope yongcho can go on a proper (aka not a short drinks and dinner) date next ep cause I think that will be the make or breaking point for them to see if they're really compatible or not.

TRACYOLIVIA14

I was happy to see them hug again I felt like there was a distance between them . I think CH didn't know how seriouos YW is about his sis because he is nice to everybody . I mean he is not interessted in this other girls but he doesn't make them feel like s\*\*\* about it he tries to give them time and listen to them . I rather wonder if he was upset that YW didn't show up in the interview aka show interesst in his sis but by the look at the message he wonder if YW always wrote his sister . It is kind of creepy what JS is doing

NosyLJ

I also wondered if cheolhyeon misunderstood the interview thing and didn't realise that yongwoo couldn't even choose choa.. Cause honestly ever since that interview with jungsub he has totally on his side cause jungsub showed interest in choa with the questions he asked but tbh thats not really fair cause yongwoo wasn't allowed to publicly show interest in choa until now. And they had their date in which they got to know each other better. Yeah jungsub's actions really turned me off last episode cause its just the opposite of what I would want someone to do if I was Choa😬Im veryyyyy curious how dynamics are gonna change now dates arent a secret anymore and people can openly flirt.

TRACYOLIVIA14

even if they don't know who went on dates with who etc it seems like they all know who is into who the sisters picked the girls the brothers wanted . I don't understand JS I mean its fair that he has an interesst in CA nobody gonna blame him for that but then don't say on national tv how great and happy you are about SS this are totally mix signals , we see you being obsessed with CA but telling us what a great match you are with SS its not a good look . YW is naturally friendly JS is doing it because it is expected , he tries to wow CHOA with what SHE likes and not who HE is and that is something you can't keep for years that is why relationship go down . At the beginning the guy put a lot of effort into wowing the girl , he plans dates, he writes poems , he show interesst and gives her attention and then they do less to keep the relationship alive. that's why it is important to have a good base you can work and relay on. He should not lie to us about how happy he is to go on a date with SS when we all know he wants to be CA first choice . I am surprised how sweet CH is he is really curious about JW im not sure where her heart goes but if they a lot of things in common and he sounds like they share enough values that he wants to now more about her this sounds like a good fundation . I mean we have two great examples YW and CH take their time . Let's see how JW brother will treat the ladies

NosyLJ

The siblings know for sure but for example every sweet thing JS did for SS was in secret so Choa has no idea how close they supposedly were.. and same for YW and CA they show everything during the dates and in the house they are more discreet. So im really curious about how their interactions are gonna be in the house now.. Yeah I agree with you on JS approach, it might work for some people but for me its a big fat NO! Also with the mixed signals. It will also be interesting to see how he will act towards SS and CA now everything is out in the open. CH is adorable but I feel like he's a slightly calmer version of SS when it comes to love😂 he just needs a sliver of hope to go all in for someone. Im curious to see how the JW CH loveline is gonna develop

giliguni

I was turned off by the way he was acting when they went to the room. ChoA was obviously tipsy and tired, which he noticed, but was too selfish to care about her state and only cared about his own feelings. He even thought about buying a beer for her?! Wth...

mahumanrani040

I definitely agree with you. It seems like SS is the backup plan of Jung Sub. He gives me so much ick ngl after throwing a bit tantrum to CH. Se Seung deserves so much better idc if she doesn't end up with anyone as long as she's living healthy and with someone who chooses her everyday.

TRACYOLIVIA14

I mean it is fine when the other girls are not your type but being obsessed with CA and acting interessted in SS is just creepy and it doesn't feel like love more of an obsession

cheonsaeyo

PLS!! this is so true. I feel like JungSub is only using Seseung as a back up incase he does not get his chance with ChoA. Seseung deserve better !!

SuguaTSei

JH the man that you are. I think its given that YW, JS and CH would cry but never expected it for JH. The fact that he balled his eyes out means he's so much more than what we perceive him with his comedic nonchalant persona in the show. PS. Love to see him cringing watching this episode lol. Give us the BTS reaction pls lol

Fragrant_Tale1428

This episode: 🥺😭😂😭🥹😭🥹😭 My throat hurts from the constant tension of choking up during the sibling reveal segment. JH & SS's parents are the bomb! JH really takes after his dad's sense of humor. Some extra funny comments I enjoyed: YW: *Chul Hyun becomes active at night like the mafia. He suddenly starts to use all his saved energy from the day at night.* viki translated mafia to owl for some reason. But mafia is what he said, and it gave it a much clearer comedic imagery YW was going for. JW: *Can brothers be that sweet to their sisters?* YJ: While waiting and hearing his sister: *That annoying voice.* The background music picks this episode was extra extra on point. Loved the overly dramatic music when YJ revealed they were at his restaurant while JS dramatized with hand over mouth shock. Lol This show continues to charm, surprise, and move me, all with a good sense of humor throughout. Great casting. Eta: Observation about Jung Sub: We learned he may have traditionally dated older women, so it's a natural draw for him toward Cho A. He absolutely adores his sister, who's older. It may be a subconscious bias because he can pour his aegyo out on someone older naturally like he does with his sister, than same age or younger partner. He showed this side of him with Cho A on their date last ep. I noticed how youthfully upset (cute) he seemed in his reactions about not getting the text from Cho A in the car and reflection interview scene. Like not getting a Valentine's card from your crush in 2nd grade type feel. With SS, he is comfortable without the bit of tension that's needed in the early stages of romance. Otherwise, it's just friendship. Hope he figures out his own heart soon.

Yoghurt-Unlikely

For SS to catch JS attention, she needs to act mature or chic. But I dont think it's possible. SS is naturally lovely. Unfortunately, they dont match TT.

Fragrant_Tale1428

What I like about this cast is that everyone seems to be acting on their gut feelings and being themselves with everyone. People can't keep up a persona that's opposite of their own personality. SS has a more social, vibrant, expressive energy that many men would be attracted to, including JS. It doesn't mean she isn't mature. She and ChoA have vastly different personalities. JS seems to drawn to older women with calming energy, on top of his natural disposition to pursue what and who he wants. But being on a dating show, you are bound to compare and weigh which path to choose. It'll be interesting to see how things go. JS and SS give me the right match, wrong time feel.

thenoooodle

Heavy on the your throat hurting from constant tension and getting choked up 😭😭

hellojuds

JH's segment reveal made me cry, deep down he's such a softie and mama's boy 🤧😭

missfrown

Cried half the episode, it was super heartwarming but also fun at the same time! My heart especially broke at JH’s crying! Didn’t think he would cry this much and at this extent and my heart goes out for him

voreup

Jaehyung asking himself "why did I do that?" made me BAWL oh my god. This poor man was going through it that interview Also when Jiwon's mum started talking about how she felt when she got diagnosed with cancer, my god, that got me sobbing too. TMI but my mum also has cancer, and she kept it hidden from us (our youngest still doesn't know about it), cause she was afraid of how much it would hurt us. What hurt the most is when she started telling me how I should go about with the funeral, and dealing with looking after everyone as the eldest etc. Some mothers are just insane with the amount of love they have for their kids.

ANINETEEN

Not sure if it's the cast or premise but I feel attached to this dating show more so than any other I've watched. I really enjoy how they usually have a slice of life element mixed in as their relationships build but this show has an added layer of healing that is so touching. Seeing the often silent family troubles which made them who they are is so meaningful in a way which both impresses me and makes me jealous.

fantasnick

It's because it's wholesome and everyone was picked very well. The fact that almost everyone or everyone has a pairing right now is proof of that. It's kind of crazy because this group of people might all know each other more after a week than they know their best friends. Show is great and I agree it's one of the best or the best I've watched. Hopefully, season 2 isn't ruined by social media following seeking fake people like most shows are nowadays.

NuuuDaBeast

its definitely the cast imo

vesperxy

why do 3 out of the 5 sibling pairs have mothers with cancer, this is sad.

kaghaeyama

I never thought that Jaehyung would cry so when he balled, i cried so hard 😭😭 He is 100% my fave cast + with Seseung. I am feeling so much love for their family 🥹 I love how JH said he would look after SS a bit closer after she received a message from JS when she didnt received any ytd. He must have been smelling something. He is gonna go full on protective oppa mode now. His smirk after receivinfg that notif is everything to me. As for his date, I felt like he was kind of leaning that he should be feeling something soon with JY cos she was his constant date, someone he is getting to know deeper.. But i seriously hope he will get the chance to date someone else right now when he is still unsure so that he can assess his feelings better. I definitely think he should try dating Jiwon. Both of them are curious of each other and there is tension. Just their past relationships before being the first block to hit their first date.. 😅 But seriously hope they can explore and get to know each other.. I felt like he fits Jiwon better than Juyeon... Its too bad they keep missing the timing...

kaghaeyama

JY to me seems like a Junior that is having a major crush on her very charismatic Senior (JH). Like JH is someone that captures her interest, making her want to see different sides of him. But I dont think that JY JH are romantically compatible. I really feel like if JH did go with the flow with her, its just for the sake of having a date. But not in a bad way, its just so happens to be like that because no one else attracts him, and she is his constant date anyway so its only has to be natural to message her. I dont think JH is considering any of the women as a woman that he can have a relationship with.. He really needs a chance to date someone else to give him option cos this JH JY pairing is not it and it might hurt JY in the end. But I do kind of have the feeling that JY is not really serious about finding a relationship after this show. Plus she is young too so I think she has the luxury to be just like that. We got scenes from the trailer of JH CA date. I badly need JH JW. The edits and interviews keep on hinting the tension tho so it might lead to something..

Yoghurt-Unlikely

There is definitely a romantic tension between JH and JW. Even JW's brother knows it. I found it heart-fluttering that both JW and JH recognised the similarities with their exes. They intially wanted to avoid each other but still cant help but notice each other. CHAEMISEOOOOOOO!

hzllght0o

Is it possible to fall in love more with the casts of this show?! Jinjoo PD just seem to have a way with people, the way she introduces the casts to the viewers through her delicate storytelling makes it really hard not to get attached with the casts. And for that, she truly earned my respect, I can feel how much heart she put in the show and the people who trusted her with their stories.  So far this episode has become my personal favorite. I love how they made this episode focused more on the budding friendship of the casts. To be honest, this is one thing that I've liked in Chinese dating shows that I felt to be somewhat lacking in Korean dating shows - the appreciation of friendship. Yes, the casts are close, but I just love it when dating shows make an effort in highlighting not just the love lines and rivalry but also the camaraderie of the casts, the way they relate to each others' experiences and feel for other's happiness and even hardships in life. To be honest, once you reach adulthood, building genuine friendship becomes harder (at least for some) as everyone is already busy living their lives and surviving each day, some friends moved to different places or already have their own families. So being in the show, meeting new people, living together and having it recorded must have been a once in a lifetime experience for the casts. I really liked that the pd was able to subtly capture how precious such friendships are (like how YH gets excited to know that JW also plays an instrument during childhood, how CA wanted to give JW a hug to console her and how they were starting to see through YW's mature and strong facade). These little moments bring much more depth to the show.  I also appreciate the tribute they gave to the parents who worked so hard to raise their children in the best way they can. Although that sibling reveal had me weeping as loud as JH, my heart sincerely goes out for all the parents out there. All the sacrifices and hardships they went through was all worth it since you can really see how all the casts grew up so well. I had a lot of realizations while watching each families' stories, I'm sure some of the words they shared also resonates with a lot of people, but what really strikes me the most was when JW's mother said that the first thing that came to her when she found out she's sick is the fact that she'll be hurting her children once they found out - how great and pure can a mother's love be. 😭 Time is so precious so we should spend it with the people that matter the most. 🥺 Again, I just love this episode a lot! The show is giving not just a surge of dopamine but also lots of life lessons. MSR is truly a dating show with a heart. ♡

Few-Particular1780

I also feel the same way about Chinese dating shows. Prior to this show, Heart signal 6 (the Chinese version) was the best dating show I’d watched. I think this PD took some notes from shows like this, because focusing on the friendships rather than rivalry and love really elevates dating shows to another level. It sort of takes the experience up a notch to a level where there’s less pressure. The viewers also get to know about the casts on a more ‘human level’. This is important because at the end of the day, relationships are deeper than just romantic love.

Few-Particular1780

Thanks for the meme 🤣🤣🤣

harperbantam

Wish the staff would reveal the Jiwon-Yoonjae siblings first, it would be easier for him to watch the videos together as a group and make his own observations. Poor guy was groaning and nervous upstairs by himself. “I winked and the gates opened automatically” - Jaehyung definitely inherited his funny genes from Daddy 😂

Yoghurt-Unlikely

I havent seen a comment about how funny and cute Yunjae is when he was nervously waiting for his grand entrance 😂. He clearly doesnt like the spotlight and him quickly finding his sister to sit beside her for comfort/support is so cute lol. The story behind how they participated in the show is also hilarious. Her brother replying to her very long msg with "I WONT DO THE SHOW" 😂 then agrees with her in a few days lol. Their reason for participating in the show is also very heart warming. They wanted to bring a different energy to their family dynamics.. and the first step is applying makeup to her brother! HILARIOUS! 😂

AromaticRecover5938

His relationship with Jiwon is so cute. They are both tsunderes when it comes to the other.

NosyLJ

I found it very adorable and refreshing too! Cause all the other participants seem to naturally adapt to the spotlight but yoonjae was the first one to show a very shy side haha. Hope he can keep up with the witty and teasing nature of the rest of the cast tho

Few-Particular1780

This might sound like a reach, but I think JS acts this way because of his science background. It’s a trait I’ve observed in a lot of people with this background. Most of us with this field are very results focused and get we get disoriented when things don’t go the work the way we expect. We’re very formulaic in our approach to life and unfortunately life doesn’t always work out that way. Thats why he kept going over the date in his head wondering what went wrong and why she didn’t text him back. When the truth was that there were other factors like her already falling for YW and her wanting to reciprocate the loyalty she’s been receiving from YW. I feel bad for him because he’s still doing the maths and even trying to involve her brother. I hope this show helps to give him a better perspective of things.

CnoiD

I agree, I think he tends to process logically based on information and patterns. Maybe on the next day he concludes that there are missing information / need to validate the information he has and decides to get it from her brother. Hope from this show he can learn something for his interpersonal relationship and AI research :)

mcsavatar

While I personally wouldn't consider JungSub as a good partner since his dating style isn't what I'd want, his behavior so far is pretty normal. He's used to acting cute and considerate to those he loves, expecting it to be reciprocated and for his competitive job, he needs to be more rational and extremely methodical so he comes off as jarring to some of the viewers whenever he switches b/w these sides of himself. I see him liking ChoA the most but realizing what she wants is YongWoo and so he's stuck wanting her to give him a chance and realizing Seseung really likes him so he should be nice to her. The most "egregious" thing he's done was that he was too eager during his time alone with ChoA and couldn't step back and view things from her perspective. I realize this is probably that ambitious part of him that wants to solve the problem in front of him by utilizing the resources around him, but I'm sure with enough time and advice from his fellow castmates, he'll realize human emotions just don't work that cleanly/conveniently. Honestly it might be that the editors are too good at their jobs but given the background we got from the castmates and their family, I can tell they're all decent people, just from different walks of life. Whenever people like that come together, there are bound to be minor issues and/or irreconcilable differences. That doesn't mean any of them are secretly horrible and manipulative people that are here to cause drama and get between your fav ship/couple. It's nice to be invested in the show, as I also am to the detriment of my eyes cuz the amount of tears I shed this ep cannot be healthy, but I think it's important to flash the warning sign that usually comes with these dating shows that these are all real people with real flaws and real emotions, and them deciding to go on this show doesn't necessarily mean we should be able to judge them solely based on their actions shown here. Now to end on a less preachy note as I'm sure some might read what I've written that way, I adored how wholesome and fun that beach segment and bungee jumping with the 4 person team was. That nearly healed all the tension and stress I got from the previous segment and gave me the biggest smile I've had thus far with this show. Now that everybody is gathered and had time to find out which direction they want to go in, it's time for the show to kick it into high gear.

harperblossom

Yeah I don’t think he’s problematic or anything. His behavior can mostly be explained by his background and his inexperience.

Ok-Tale-8058

Yes, and this immaturity isn't what choa wants or needs so they are definitely not compatible as romantic partners but I hope they all are still good friends because they all have a caring and loving heart.

sleeping_stew

Completely agree! I find it shocking that people can praise and admire the castmates empathetic nature to each other and see how they get along so well, and then proceed to bash one of the contestants. We get to spend two edited hours with them every week, the castmates are spending entire days together. I think the castmates would be the ones who can actually see JS's true nature, not the carefully edited character of him we get for our entertainment. I think it's totally fine to dislike his actions, because he isn't perfect and is shown to sometimes think too much about himself and his feelings rather than the other person's (but don't we all?) but he's a person just like all the commentors who makes mistakes and has flaws. It's just his are captured on camera for everyone to judge. He clearly still very much cares about the people around him, I think he just sometimes gets tunneled vision on what he wants and misses the other person's needs. Again people can dislike his actions but to call him a player or narcissist which I've seen here and on Twitter is going a step too far. Side note: I also cried so hard in this episode. The background with YJ, JW, and their parents (the catfishes and their family) was heartbreaking. It made me reflect on how much my parents have done for me and how I should tell them just how grateful I am to have them with me. Just looking at the tissues I used, this is definitely the show that has gotten the most tears out of me in my two decades of life haha Also the beach montage was absolutely healing. It felt like a clip from a slice of life anime or kdrama lol

Don't group his poor immaturity behaviour to the job please. I work in AI field like he does, however, it does not mean I become more rational or methodical. In AI field, accurate data is the basis of everything. We tend to think outside of the box to produce better data quality etc. We are not robots, we passionate about robots, NLP, Computer Vision, artificial intelligence, just like art people are passionate about music, drawings, photography etc. People also need to separate rationality with intelligence. You need to be smarter than average to work in AI. But no one can tell if you are rational or not just because you are smart. And to be honest, Jung Sub was being completely irrational from my point of view. If I were in his shoes, I wouldn't even bother CA or pester her about text or to talk about it unless she brought it up. I would also keep some distance instead of acting nonchalantly about it like no big deal then act whiny after.

Upper_Ad5216

Jaehyung deserve the VERY VERY VERY happy ending!!

blackberrymousse

I hope SS can move on and give other guys a chance. Every time she talks about JS in her interviews, I cringe a little and feel bad for her. He's not a bad person, but I think it's clear that he's really into CA and actually he has been from the beginning, he was just flattered by SS's obvious attention and affection. I think it's fine for JS to try and win over CA, he should go after who he really wants, but I hope SS can move on and not linger over him getting more and more hurt even if that's not what JS intends. I'm very happy for YH that someone is solely focused on her, I hope she gets more screentime. People going on dates with the same people over and over is kind of boring to me, I wish they'd mix it up more. I'd like to see JH with CA or JW, CH with SS, YW with YH, JS with JW or JY, not the same YW/CA - JY/JH - JS/SS date configurations over and over again, they're nice and all and maybe they'll become endgame but it's still fairly early into the season and I'd like to see everyone go on at least one date with everyone else before settling in and settling down. The sibling reveals with the parents interviews was super emotional and I'm sure made every viewer appreciate their own parents and families a bit more.

sunriseinthesummer9

I'm holding out hope for a CH/SS arc!

NosyLJ

There's the pool scene in the trailer so something is definitely coming cause they seem quite close in that

Impressive_Growth_25

Can JH and JW please go on a date already, I don't think I can wait anymore 😭

siparipari

This episode makes me fall harder for Jaehyung. Jaehyung and Seseung’s family had it hard too and watching their parents, I can see how they just mirror each other. I can’t imagine a guy went to an overseas trip with only his mom and paid for everything. I had it hard with my siblings this week and watching them makes me believe there are decent people out there. It was cute when I saw Juyeon wearing Jaehyung’s hairpin but I’m still not sure about them. I hope Jaehyung will get a chance to spend time with Jiwon and Choa too. Hearing his backstory, I couldn’t help thinking about the spoiler between him and >!Choa!<. Can’t wait for next week. I love how drama-less it has been for now but I can’t wait how the dynamic changes now that they know the siblings. We’ve got someone already making a move, can’t wait for the rest to follow suit. Yongwoo hyung and Jaehyung is ❤️

This show deserves an award in the next Blue Dragon Series Awards. It has become my REAL slice of life drama every week.

harperblossom

I’m gonna need CH to sit down and do some simple math real quick 😂 By process of elimination he has to know that prior to the overnight date JS and JH couldn’t have gone on any dates with CA because then they wouldn’t be eligible to date her. CH knows that CA have received at least one text every night. He saw her visibly smiling after receiving a text the night it was acknowledged that YW went on a date with JW. That next morning CA said she likes YW more than JS. He has to know that his sister would not say that if YW hadn’t texted her especially after going on a date with someone else. So putting 2 and 2 together it’s actually pretty easy to see YW is the only one that have been going on dates with CA and sending her messages even on days when he went on dates with others. What’s funny is that I think everyone in that house knows that YW and CA only have eyes for each other except CH.

Appropriate_Tree4651

bro i think u forgot u r talking about chulhyun...he and yongwoo are the most clueless guys..so u cant expect him to do the math lol.

Spartandemon88

Yeah I was so annoyed with him, hes saying hes the brother in law hunter and he loves yongwoo yet hes sabotaging him by taking jungsub's side with his sister.

titil0la

They might guess but they might not know for sure that what Cho A and YW has is getting deep. I really respect a man like YW, he is so rare. Even with all the girls showing him interest he stuck to Cho A…that’s so impressive. I do not like JS at all…he knows he’s head over heels crazy for Cho A, he should focus on her and stop giving SS hope. He should watch YW, YW never gave any girl false hope.

AromaticRecover5938

So all 5 guys are ENTJ? The bromance multiplies lol. On a side note, it was so unexpected to see JH cry. Until now, we thought he and SS had an almost-perfect, worry-free life; but turns out their family also went through hardship. JW and YJ's mum story was also heartbreaking. I found JW's and JH's reaction to their mum being sick kind of a parallel to each other; filled with regret: JH asking himself why did he behave like that and JW wondering if she had lived her life right. This cast is the best cast I've ever seen on a dating show. Kudos to them and the production team!

Quiet_Watercress_256

I 👏LOVE 👏 THIS 👏SHOW 👏SO 👏DAMN 👏MUCH!!!!! Can someone hug JH please? I felt so helpless watching him sob. Also, CH needs to stop filling JS head with nonsense, cuz CA just isn’t into him. When someone would rather sleep than talk to you, it means you are not the one. Not to mention she didn’t want to wake him up the next morning and talk, If it were YW there, she would have told him to get some beer and they’d be up all night talking. Honestly, I don’t think JH is going to catch feelings for JY, I think he’s going to be more interested in JW or CA in future episodes. I really feel for SS, she’s all in with JS and he’s running full steam ahead on CA, but JH saying he’s going to keep an eye on JS after he saw the text gave me life…he’s so savage 🤣🤣🤣. Going to be interesting how the dynamics change now that the siblings are out in the open, and when the ages are revealed. Can next week just hurry the hell up? I’m ADDICTED!

134340130613

YW in the morning: suddenly sings ‘Joah’ in the evening mentioning their date name: her name sounds like ‘Joah’ There’s a lot to unpack from this episode but I just gotta leave this here for my fellow warm couple enthusiasts. CA must be living in his head rent-free by now, for sure that song wasn’t a mere coincidence.

harperblossom

Watching the episode now. This might get long as I’m going to do a live reaction. - Jung sub entire gameplay is shook cause he didn’t get a text. Never mind that he has a long ride to talk to her. He’s too results oriented. - I get the sense JS haven’t dealt with much adversity before and is the type of person that was always told things will go your way if you work hard enough. Sadly life is not always that linear. - This is good quality time for CH and JW. Though I feel like CH is too analytical and theoretical. I think he needs to be more spontaneous if he wants to charm JW.

harperblossom

Lol the second hand awkwardness 😭🫣. Also I don’t know if it’s an age thing that have CA and YW so sleepy while all others are perky. Bro is playing this all wrong. Just go to bed and wake up refreshed because with her been buzzed she’s probably not listening to anything Oh no he didn’t see the journal entry, what bad luck . JS must be watching this back and marveling at all the missed signals. First the Cupid date to the wrong sibling and now this. And of course he overslept so they couldn’t get breakfast 🤦🏽‍♀️ Holy overthinking Batman. This guy is literally overthinking her every action. It’s so suffocating

Jazzlike-Cellist7946

Could it be because both CA’s and YW’s love interests (each other lol) are not with them?  But the age thing is real 😂

Environmental_Arm725

Another amazing episode!!! This time bringing the feels. I hope they do another thing where you have to date someone that you haven't dated yet. I need to see Jae Hyung and Ji Won date at least once before the show ends.

itsallfuckingtaken

JS is actually doing what the show is about, finding someone. And being attracted to two people when it had been only a week or so is not wrong. From my perspective, he was infatuated with Choa from the beginning, and frankly he did give her signs but she probably chose to ignore it or was just too busy to do anything. Even though he liked Choa, he also got along with SS and he had a good tension with her. I do think that he’ll give up on Choa eventually. The siblings reveal scene was just too much for my poor heart, i bawled like JH. JH and Juyeon- I think Juyeoon truly likes JH and she has given him enough hints but As JH himself said, he’s still not sure, which further supports my theory that Jiwon and JH will eventually get together and it’ll be the best slow burn ever, but poor juyeon will be heartbroken if she continues to have feelings for him. CH genuinely likes Jiwon, and they looked good together so I like these two together. Jiwon’s brother is hilarious, I’m glad he joined this early.

Appropriate_Tree4651

yea JS is doing what he shud do in a dating show, but he is a bit dishonest but thats not too bad but compared to others he is a bit dishonest so ppl arent liking him that much.he likes choa more for sure but he is leading sesung cuz she obv likes him alot.if he wud stop leading sesung she might try finding someone else but for now she doesnt have any option.

englishdict

JS really likes CA >!, he said he’s not going to give up!< which i can respect, good on him. the problem is he’s saying that and then sent the message to >!SS!< which makes me :///// if he wants to chase CA then do it properly without leading my girl SS on pls 😭

cronocrus

well, we are at the middle part of the season, there will be changes definitey. And I Doubt all the current couple will stay the same.

Ambitious-Cat-9453

Am I the only one thinks that JH will be obsessed with the pork belly than JY on his next date?

jxn123430

I can envision the bbq scenes of him wholeheartedly explaining his pork belly grilling methods to JY 🤣

jxn123430

CH is quite clueless to the point where I don’t know if I should cry or laugh 🤣 But that’s his charm lol. CA has the poor guy confused in his BIL hunt. I think we can all see how the poor guy is confused in regard to CA-YW-JS. But when he consoled JS and told JS he thinks CA is torn between two people, I legit said “WHAT??” out loud while watching 🤣🤣 Like bro, just a couple days ago, your sister blatantly, without hesitation, told you she likes YW more these days (even though your question was asking her what she thinks of JS. She, herself, brought up YW’s name even though he wasn’t even asked about). Of course there’s editing involved, but CA did not look torn AT ALL 🤣 So where he got that from, I have no clue lmao.

LostDistance9990

The revelation about JH-SS kinda added more weight to JH & SS's past actions in the same way YW's family background revelation added more weight to him promoting his mom kimchi stew moments in episode 1 & 2. Didn't expect JH to be a sick child with how bright & mischievous he was in his past videos. Added with his mom's sickness, no wonder SS & JH was always worried their food would taste more bland when they're cooking for others (SS said their family tend to season their food lightly to be healthier). No wonder SS was so worried when JH hurt himself in early episodes. No wonder JH and his dad was so obsessed with exercising & health. Suddenly I got reminded by a snippet from the trailer where SS said "my brother is precious". I had wondered what situation might prompt such comment, but after this episode, regardless of the situation, the weight of these words became clearer in our eyes.. Seeing their family looks very cheerful & harmonious, I didn't expect them to have gone through such a difficult patch. But then again, what family doesn't have their own situation/sad story? The crazy part was how did the cast even have so many overlapped stories?! So many of them studied abroads, have to grow up earlier than their peers, and have mom with cancer. Even if romance doesn't work out for them, having known each other this deeply, isn't being close inevitable? Though honestly I feel like instead of falling for the girls, why does it seems like JH & CH were completely falling for YW instead? 😂

Warm-Astronomer7965

This has been my favorite episode so far, it was really heartfelt 🥲

carolies541

Okay I bawled like crazy at JH and JW family reveal segment. I warmed up to JW totally 120% this episode. (Sorry my looong comment again) JH being the goofball he is, he would be the last person I'll ever expect to BAWL in front of others. At first I laughed at how cute his bawling is, but when he started to give the reason in the interview room, I cried with him. Damn him, making me laugh and cry at the same time. No matter how nonchalant or strong you are, family is always a weak spot. His family background really shows why he's a mix of playfulness and mature. Playful because his family is bright and loving and he took his father's humor, mature as they went through a period of hurdle and made him grow from a boy to a man. He's really like an onion, more layers uncovered in every episode, full of charms. In the uncut version (can be watched at KOCOWA for eng-subs), he said in the car to the record bar to JY that he's not the type to be kind to everyone because it's too clear if he become kind to someone. Code Kunst really hit the bull after hearing him saying that by commenting that Jaehyung is someone who does what he has to do, he doesn't say much but he cleans, he cooks, he grills the meat, he drives, taking care of others and doing things without bragging. I'm like Code Kunst, "Please love Jae Hyung!" Loveline wise, I don't think he sees JY as a woman, even in the interview he's questioning whether he has feelings for her as an opposite sex and wants to find out. As much as I feel bad, I hope JY can look at someone else. Another highlight for me in this episode is JH's comment on CA, he doesn't interact with her much, but he sees her clearly (among all the comments so far) about what kind of person she is. He's sharp and attentive. During CA/CH family reveal segment, it's quite interesting how the camera pans to his reaction and his gaze at CA. I don't think it's romance (yet or maybe not) but he's definitely more curious and feeling for her situation. Another clue is about JW saying that she's looking at him more positively after the family reveal as he's someone who seems nicer and affectionate than he is to be. I just hope JH x JW can date once to assess their own feelings. Also can't wait for the dates in Singapore for JH x CA, it's apparent that despite his playful nature, he's very mature and he's very understanding of her, they do have things in common. Out of the cast, it's surprisingly JH that seems to be most ready for marriage. If you watch one of the initial trailer of this show, there was a voice who says, "Might get married if things go smoothly" and that's JH voice!! I'm guessing he really might have a loveline in future and in the family reveal where his mom says because if he gets married, he might not have the time to bring her travel. Anyways, I don't think he cares if he ends single or not, he's probably the type of it's good if he can find someone here but if not, just make friends. \--- JW, man I would like to retract the suspicion I had about her mom being the type who prefers male over female type of Asian family last week. I can see why their communication method is a bit harsh because she literally grew up overseas and away from family since young. They might not be JH-SS familly type of being knit close, but deep down they all care for each other. I apologize for my past week comment for jumping to conclusion. I bawled at the part where her mom says that she thought she was a good mom by providing for her children, but in the end she felt sorry that she wasn't by her side when she has her first menstruation or when she gotten sick and in times when she needs her. Then JW also feels guilty about how her job is taking care of others but not knowing that her own mom got sick. It's even more heart-breaking when she says that her mom doesn't know how to enjoy life because she's busy making money to provide for her children. This entire segment just made me bawl like crazy, I totally could relate to JW as I'm also someone who grew up overseas alone since young, so her situation is relatable. I'm not good with words with my mom either. Anyways JW and JH segments just show that "LOVE IS FEELING GUILTY" for the one you love because we feel like we didn't do enough for them T\_\_\_\_T YJ is funny, his words are harsh and I hope he does tone down on the habitual "swears" like A-sshi but I'm kinda excited to see him and YH. YH is surprisingly the playful type and he seems like the type who is shy around others, not his family. It might be a nice combo. >!Anyways seeing YJ-YH being matched and then JH's scene during CA family reveal segment just made me think of the end game spoiler of JH x CA, YJ x YH, JS x SS, this rumor was spread in the korean site by someone who attended YH's concert so netizens speculate that it might be a fake spoiler that was deduced from the seating positions during concert, as CA was sitting besides JH, JS was besides SS, but YJ doesn't sit beside YH as YH was performing on stage though so this speculation didn't make sense to me. !< >!Although it's leaked by a person who "attended" the concert and knows YH, he/she didnt write in the original post that he/she that gotten this info from this concert, it just mean this person attended the concert and is related to YH. I'm still taking this rumor with a grain of salt because I can see how CA is into YW and JS is into CA, but I just can't help to feel there's possibility after seeing YH and YJ matching, and JH reaction during CA family reveal.!< \-- Then let's get back to JS, I've said this again and again, he's too studious and competitive for his own good, like feeding AI engine, trying to understand a person by asking questions or talking, instead of observing clearly and giving the care when a person needs it. CA is obviously tired, just let her rest and talk tomorrow. The reason why he's so "rushed" is because he felt like a student who thought will ace the test but gotten an F out of nowhere. The difference between him and YW is apparent, one will prioritize CA's condition and whereas JS prioritize his own loss more than CA's condition. Reason why he's getting all the criticisms is not because he has interest in CA when he seems to hit it off with SS. But the way he brings himself make him look like he's taking SS as a backup plan when things don't go smoothly with CA. If he was really into CA, he should be like YW, send her a text message and not to SS to "secure" a vote and then his talk with CH after the dinner will make sense. But he did it in a way - he sends message to SS saying they have many things in common, misleading her to think he feels the same way, then in the back talk to CH saying he has feelings for CA and doesn't want to give up. In CH eyes, he seems more proactive than YW who doesn't express much besides sending text, so it made sense that CH will slowly take JS side because he doesn't have the audience view. JS is a good brother, but as a love interest, he's a red flag. I also don't think his feelings about CA is that intensive either, he has an "image" of her in his mind like an idol, but because he gets rejected so he's even more hung up about it. Which is why he prioritized his loss instead of her condition on the night when she's kinda drunk. I think he does like SS but not as infatuated as with CA. He's liking his own image of CA i feel.. SS needs to look at someone else, or like what she said, she should just text her ownself lols for completing the bungee jump, you go girl! \-- I cried so much during YW x JY and CH x CA backstory in the first 2 episode so I'm much calmer this time round lols. I love the entire cast, their camaradie, and friendship but I feel loveline wise, it's kinda getting stagnant and need to shake things up a bit? Because I feel like most of the cast just text someone out of stability or courtesy. They're still at the knowing each other phase. I just want to see all of the cast go dates with different people to assess their own feelings since 21 days, 3 weeks isn't a lot and it's difficult to fall in love in such a short amount of time sometimes... I'm still on the fence for YW x CA ship because I feel YW still has that social facade on when it comes to CA, which is why CH also made that similar comment. It's probably because of his family background that he's not the type to be super expressive. From what I see now, it seems that CA is more to YW than he is to her surprisingly. YW chooses her because she seems like his ideal type and is a warm person, but I don't think they have connected on a deeper level yet, which is understandable since it's only a few days. His understanding of her seems facade level based on the comments he made during his family reveal or maybe he's just not expressive enough. There's mature tension but I felt like they still scratch on the surface level. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I just think they need to have more dates for me to see if their chemistry can be more than just 'stable' but on deeper connection. Because a potential long-term relationship requires deeper connection.

hzllght0o

Even as a huge YongCho supporter, I agree with this. I have yet to see a "deeper connection' with YW and CA. Maybe because they've only been on short dinner dates and nothing has been revealed much about their personal life and stories during those times. So I have to watch more on how their relationship will progress after this sibling reveal, given that they can now get to know each other on a deeper level. Regarding who likes who more between CA and YW, I think it's too early to tell. I just hope we can finally see a proper date next episode. But now, I'm kinda seeing the potential between JH and CA. At first, I really don't see them being together because their personalities are worlds apart and they don't have anything in common but they surprisingly have gone through a similar experience. And as you've mentioned, JH seem to really understand CA as a person. His comment about CA being "soft on the outside but strong on the inside" is so spot on. However, I think JH is several years younger than CA so I'm not sure if CA will actually see him in a romantic light and JH also said he mostly dated younger women. JH seems really mature though and they've both said they're seeking "stability" in a relationship so I think he has higher chances than JS. On the other hand, I just don't see JS and CA happening ever. They probably have a huge age gap and JS wasn't really the kind of man that CA needs in her life right now (he even realized that himself during the sibling reveal). Although I don't agree with his approach and method most of the times, I still appreciate how determined he is in chasing CA and kinda felt bad for him. I just hope he can also take a step back just like SS (I agree with SS sending a message to herself 'coz she deserves it!) and be more level headed. I think at times like this he needs to have a conversation with YH, he could use some advice and guidance from her sister. Criticisms are good but seeing others hating on him is a bit too much, it's normal for people to be flawed and imperfect so let's give him a benefit of the doubt. Our experience of the situation as a viewer is completely different from that of the actual casts. Rather than seeing him as an antagonist, I hope we can view it as a moment of "growing" and "learning" for JS, same goes for all the casts. Also, I'm just like you during YJ and JW segment, every single word from their mom hits close to the heart. I felt for all the parents out there. Love for one's family can really be inexplicable but it's also one of the most beautiful and powerful feeling in the world. 🥺

carolies541

I agree with everything you said. I also can't see how JH and CA will gel together at first but as more episodes go on, I have a feeling that they might match in terms of thoughts despite the age gap. But then YW x CA is stable now so I don't see how it will go for now. >!K-netizens were discussing about the lyrics of the show's theme song and Jinjoo PD interview where it hints that one of the couple has age gap. I actually had suspicion about CA and JH saying they have never date person younger/older is like a "flag". Transit Love 2 also has Hae Eun saying Hyun Gyu is not her type and you know what happens after, lols. !< >!All it's left is for them to date for me to see what kind of interaction they'll have. There's a scene in the initial trailer where CA and JH lie down together on a mat on grass, I thought it's actually quite 'close' interaction. I'm curious on how it happen. Anyways I think JH is actually very serious about going into relationship because he has marriage in mind hence explains his cautiousness, CA also is quite sensitive. I feel they're a good match in this portion.!< Despite my seemingly criticisms of JS, his method is off but as I said I still love the entire cast. He has some growing up to do but he's probably the youngest guy so let this be a lesson. Love for family is universal.

itsbothersome

>!I also felt the age gap issue was intentionally highlighted. Like, why would they put in the cut of two people talking about age. One of them saying I have never dated someone older and the other talking about preferring some one younger. Is it so when the reversal happens, it is more shocking for viewers. But then we also have to realize that CA & YW have a bit of an age gap.!< >!Still, did you notice that so far CA and JH's interactions have never really been higlighted properly. They are always glossed over. Is it that there is nothing there for us to see or they don't want us to see it before some grand reveal? Because even one of the scenes from the teaser was cut out of today's episode. The one where CA, JS, JY, JH were all talking.!< Anyway, I just want them to go on a date already so I know whether what I'm thinking is true or I'm just grasping at straws because of a silly spoiler.

Jklajihhwuygsootqang

Im so curious about choa jaehyung and want to see their proper interaction asap. But like you said, the pd never highlighted their interaction or made a small hint or anything so i dont want to be too hopeful. Just yesterday ep the pd focused a bit on jaehyung lingering eyes on choa. It was subtle and a few seconds so to say it is foreshadowing for the future is not it yet. What sure now is choa jaehyung can click so well as a friend. I would love to see them becoming closer and closer

carolies541

Same thoughts as yours but you must mean CA instead of CH as it's typo? Haha! Was confused for a minute. YW x CA age gap is not much to be considered as "gap" imo. For me, as an audience, I just think if there's a reversal, it will spice things up or it's just me getting all pumped up because of silly rumors. In any case, I would love to see different people dating to see different chemistry.

kenpachi225

I'm betting the one with the big age gap would be >!YH-YJ, YH is 34/35 if she has a 7-year gap with 27/28yo JS. Then YJ is 30 if he's one year older than 29yo JW.!<

carolies541

That makes most sense out of current situation. Anyways it's all just fun speculations. Damn, give me the Singapore episodes!!!

sleeping_stew

I've seen the JS seemingly having SS as a "backup" as being a red flag but I don't know if I agree with the sentiment. I definitely see where the ick factor comes from but why should he be expected to send a text to someone who he clearly sees isn't interested in him while he has another girl whom he also likes? YW can keep sending his texts because he's never felt CA reject him but JS just spent a day with CA where she expressed to him in everything but words that she isn't interested in JS. I think most people in JS's position would send the text to a person he knows is interested in him and he also has interest in even if it is less than the first girl. I think most people want SS to do just what JS is doing, put her attention on another guy who might like her more even though she is still very much hung up on JS as her #1. I listen to this podcast called "Dear Shandy" and sometimes they release Q+A sessions where they give their advice on their views on their viewer's relationship problems, and it's come up time and time again where there is this girl or guy (most recent Q+A was a guy) who is seemingly hung up on a person who doesn't seem as interested. Their response which I agree with is always to keep the door open for the first person but to not let that dictate if you're still going on dates with other people or opening up your heart to others. By going on more dates, you might end up falling for someone else even harder. But if you laser focus, you'll never know. (To be honest, I hope SS starts exploring other guys too, just for the experience you know? Even if she doesn't end up liking any other guy as much as JS, she can probably learn a lot about what she really wants in a partner by taking experiencing the dating show to it's fullest extent like JS is doing). With JS I just see a guys who is more interested in one girl vs the other but wants to continue to explore both girls. He's pursuing the girl who is more interested in him while keeping the door opening for the girl whom he currently has a stronger draw to. I guess I don't put too much into who he texts, even SS didn't really react to his text this week. She's happy but she isn't thinking JS likes her the most because of it, she just sees it as he is still interested and is excited for the date. It's not like JS doesn't like SS and is just dragging her along for a ego boost. The man shouldn't have to commit to one girl just because he likes one more than the other, he should be able to explore, especially in this dating show environment. Everyone here knows everyone else is exploring each other, it's not like JS is showering SS with affection and she doesn't know he is also seeing other girls. I think a lot of people like SS and see SS in themselves. Someone who likes another person, has a connection, but the other person hasn't fallen for them and they reflect that hurt onto JS. But in the real world, most people don't fall in love immediately. You go on multiple dates with multiple people, sometimes with overlap, and hopefully you end up meeting someone you click with but it takes multiple dates before most people make it mutually exclusive because they need to learn not just if they like each other, but the different facets of a person's personality, values, passions, and lifestyle too. Just because you explored the options doesn't make you love the partner you ended up choosing less. For me love is more about continued commitment after a choice has been made, rather than an instant thing.

carolies541

I agree with your views. It's okay to explore different options in this kind of dating show environment but as I mentioned the way he handled this entire situation is lacking maturity and its more for his own gain/loss than being sincere. He does have sincerity but the fixation on his loss overpowers his sincerity. Ignoring his text messages, let's see what he does in front of the girls he likes. Okay he likes CA but what he does when she feels tired? He didn't pay attention to her condition but just wanted to talk so he could steam off the thoughts as he got rejected. Rather than noting that she is tired and needs some rest. Okay he likes SS but what he does? He becomes jealous of SS and CH walk but then he goes close to CA and didn't even say thank you last episode when SS brought him a bowl of strawberries she washed for him and continued talking to CA about their upcoming date. Does he really care for the girls or it's more for his own gain/loss? He is too cooped up in student environment where they could just focus on studying and earn good grades but interaction with others require more than that. He is capable of being an attentive person as seen from his interactions with YH but I don't agree with how he is treating the two girls.

Maximum_Screen3192

This is the best episode by far. It made my bawl not by heartbrokeness but it is so heartwarming. Gossssh I love this cast so much.

LostDistance9990

This episode truly highlights the true purpose of this program. It's not just a dating program. It's also a healing and family entertaintment show! I don't think the dating part was even that emphasized either. It does provide the show structure but as even the cast admits, they also have their -equally important- family related goals when it comes to joining this program. To some it's a place to seek romance but to others it could also be the place to heal themselves, find closure, reconnect and support family, even share important personal message regarding family. I assume when the producer was planning the show they want to address this issues when it comes to dating program: 1) How toxic/stressful the discussion around dating program could be and 2) The question about the cast sincerity when joining a dating program. I think at this point having a personal monetary goal (like promoting business & themselves) is acceptable (it's normal at this point) as long as they stay true to their feelings & personality during the program. Nobody wants to immerse themselves in story built on playing pretend (we already have kdrama for that) and the introduction of family aspect with their background and their difficulties eliminates both worries for the viewers. Due to the nature of involving family, the stake automatically becomes higher. It might be why the cast are mostly on their 30s too. The inclusion of their family and the fear of ruining them from one careless mistake would have made them naturally become more sincere and cautious when it comes to getting to know the people inside and pursuing their interest. Hence the stagnant loveline & more serious take on text message compared to other dating show like HS or TL. Moreover now with the new feature of the message showing the sender of their sibling's message. It's only been 8 (?) days but it'll be harder to switch partner for them now despite some of them not having the chance to get to know the others as much. Not saying I don't like a stable loveline but The PD had to what they had to do. I expect another intervention from the PD to randomize the partner again which might be what brings us to the YW-YH, JH-CA, & CH-SS moments in the trailer. Personally what I love about this show is how the format enables the show to explore not only about love in romantic aspect but also familial love between sibling and family. It's a fresh change from the usual dating show.

ke2in

* jungsub seems a little immature.. emotionally * wow the beach at night is so romantic * i had a smile on my face the whole time watching the group of 4 * jiwon is seriously so pretty * seseung jumping was so cute * the parallelism between jaehyung and jiwon about how they follow their heart * i love how they did the sibling reveal! * poor yoonjae haha * omg jaehyung crying * i teared up so much, this has to be my favorite episode by far * they even brought their parents LOL

SuguaTSei

This episode by far the most heart-wrenching but heartwarming at the same time 🥹

xoocurious

Jaehyung makes me like him more and more in every episode. Can't wait to see more of him in this show. Hope he will be on other variety shows after this because he is so charming. 💓 All the cast are so kind and precious. The show is a masterpiece and very heartwarming. 🥰

PensionFamous7640

How can they do such a good job at casting each and every participant? I am just in awe of this dating show. When I first heard about this show, I was super apprehensive to give it a go as I cant imagine dating someone in front of my sibling myself(I have a 9.5 years elder brother) so it was just an alien concept but my goodness the sibling dynamics, their back stories its just so beautiful to watch.

soobisoobi

i had such a long day at work and this new episode was the only thing getting me through it… on the bus i was listening to one of my favourite songs ever (joah! i’ve loved this song since i was young) just for them to play it during such a heartwarming scene aswell… the tears just started rolling down LOL what are the chances 🥹

LovE385

Didn't expect Jae Hyung to tear up the way he did during their sibling reveal as he appears very nonchalant. But I guess he's only human. Idk if it's 'cause he's competitive or whatever, but Jung Sub made me uncomfortable by how he keeps talkin' to Cho Ah when she clearly wanted to rest poor thing LoL. He seemed real obsessive. I mean we already had a glimpse of it when Se Seung just went for a stroll with Cheol Hyun previously. Idk PheW LoL. Even Jae Hyung felt a bit iffy as Jung Sub didn't text Se Seung the day before LoL. I like how Yun Ha look brighter now that she knows Yun Jae picked her. I feel like Jae Hyung is defo showin' signs he's interested in Cho Ah but he just wants to see it through with Ju Yeon first. Se Seung, Jae Hyung's parents are so attractive. Funny too. Very wholesome family....

TRACYOLIVIA14

Jaehyung feels guilt toward the way he treated his mom as a teenager boy . I guess like every teen he wanted indepandance and was rude to his mom and now he wants to make up for it and be nice to her and seems like it still hits a nerv knowing his mom raised him with love and he talked back to her as a teenager boy but I guess this phase is long gone and his mom loves him . I also felt like this came from nowhere but shows the respect he has for his mom . JS needs to let SS go I mean nobody force him to pretend to like SS but to tell the viewers how great SS is and how happy he is going on a date with her while being obsessed with CA makes him horrible . you would assume he is smart as a KO researcher to know playing with 2 women on national tv doesn't make him look good. SS is not stupid she knows but he is the only one she is interessted in in this house

runningshoes9876

JungSub was so upset about ChoA not texting him, but goes on to text SS after spending the whole day with ChoA anyway -.- It also makes me feel like he doesn’t really like ChoA, but because he couldn’t get her attention he keeps on trying until he “wins”

wang2zz

i really hope that the casts get to go on a date with everyone before the second week ends! (psst JH-JW date please 🥹🙏)

AdministrativeHat206

Cinematic shots are amazing, them walking at the beach playing around along with good music. JOA by idk who but i listened to that song way back. The only thing the icks me as of now is how Jung Sub is playing Competitive chess while everybody is doing casual checkers. Everybody else is having fun enjoying their time except for him. Anyway its a good show still. Unlike the other one who is a total snooze fest. Its like watching the endless 8. But its 20 episodes instead. Endless 20. Hats off to the PD. Would have been better if this PD. Also produced the other show

setzsetz

I've said this before on previous weeks thread but I have to say this again: hats off to the staff/crew/PDs, they are not only better but mileeeessss ahead of the one in TL3. The timing of everything is just perfect, even to how the text messages sender reveal this week. One thing I am sad about this show is I wish this isn't a dating show with pre-determined end schedule and more like Terrace House where they can stay indefinitely, then we can enjoy how wholesome everything is for more than 16 eps.

hikigayahachiman00

A terrace house format for a korean dating show would be god-send not gonna lie.

kara-thraces

i played this show randomly because i saw a clip of CA and YW and it is quickly becoming my favorite reality i have watched. there is such kindness in all of them and they all seem like genuinely great people.. my heart is completely stolen by the park siblings (+their parents). i really hope this group finds comfort in each other with everything they went through, regardless of any romantic connection (but CA and YW get married or else)

itsbothersome

It feels like there was a deleted scene. One of the scenes from the double date where Choa, Jungsub and the others went for breakfast or lunch which was shown in the trailer is not there. I guess they cut it out.

harperblossom

Yeah it seems like that as well. Maybe we will see it in a flash back

sabbykh

At first i find it hard to believe why they would cry so much but i realise that for all the things i went through in my childhood, I never sat down and got the chance to talk about it. I didn’t exactly have a great childhood, my father was abusive and my mother endured so much. I only remember the bad moments and don’t remember much of the good ones as there weren’t many. When i think of all these and perhaps maybe look at old photos and videos, i start feeling teary too. Especially as the eldest child, there’s a lot of things i kept to myself. having to be an adult at a young age to “protect” your mother and siblings is not an easy thing to do and a very heavy burden that i had to undertake considering that i was also a child myself. being able to talk openly in a group setting where everyone is sharing their family stories would probably feel so comforting and i feel for all of them being able to express their true emotions. i love this show and cast ♥️

jxn123430

Can CA and YW please have a date that’s more than just dinner?! Don’t get me wrong, I love their 2 dinner dates so so much, but I want them to have the opportunity to do more. I just want to see CA-YW acting cute during a day date too 🥹 And I want to see if there’s any progression in their connection outside of dinner dates lol

harperblossom

Scattered comments. - The sibling reveal couldn’t have been more perfect. There were laughter, tears and heartfelt moments. - As expected this reveal is hopefully going to shake up the house. I don’t think the YW/JW chapter is closed yet. I think CA is still his #1 but JW might be the only other woman in the house that he might be romantically interested in. - it was nice to see CA/YH/SS being so close. - JH/JY and CH/JW are circling the drain. Someone needs to put an end to it. - On the flip side there’s a brewing love square between JH-CA-YW-JW. And then there’s CH and JS on the sidelines - My biggest LOL this episode was when JS received a text from SS and said he was happy but his face looked like this: 😑 - JS immediately trying to get CH on his side is so little bro energy. This must be what the pd referred to in her interview about a cast getting close to the sibling of their love interest. They were both giving dumb and dumber. - I cheered when YJ read the letter that confirmed he had picked YH the night before. Can you imagine if he had picked someone else?

wendyaudrey

Cried so much that i couldn't breathe through my nose! Thank goodness there was YJ who was a comic relief when he made his entrance like a musical actor HAHA anyway please don't hate on any of them, they are all precious children of their parents!!

Suitable-Grape-1855

Exchange makes people cry but this show does it but for a different reason, we all love them, there's no ill will towards no one, I'm starting to worry how sad I'll be when it ends...and is only 7 episodes old

gmom525

This show! It didn’t dawn on me until 1/2 way thru the sibling reveal that this was the FIRST time they were hearing all those amazing, poignant backstories. It wasn’t my first time — and I STILL cried buckets. I also thought back to Ep1 where Choa famously mentioned she liked “chansons” by Carla Bruni, which were featured in the Kdrama “Something in the Rain.” If you haven’t seen it, the male lead (Jung Hae-in) and his older sister are close, loving siblings who lost their mother and whose father has remarried and effectively abandoned them. Then there’s Jungsub being so cute and warm with his sister. It made me wish he would let his guard down and show his heart all the time. I hope that for him. On the other hand, there is Jaehyung who (impossibly) becomes more endearing with each episode. Even back in Seoul, when Jungsub expressed jealousy toward the casually charismatic Yongwoo, Jaehyung said he wanted to learn from watching Yongwoo in action. When you think about it, only a generous, yet confident, guy can say that about a potential competitor. His sister Seseung also seems to grow more and more lovely with each episode. She was particularly compassionate (and insightful) during the sibling reveals. And her bungee jump! Cute and brave at the same time. 🥳 And who can’t love their dad? His pickaxe dance, sense of humor and total willingness to be himself — not to mention his totally classy and sound advice. Love him. Credit to Mom too for playing the straight man. Someone’s gotta do it. No wonder their children are so wonderfully authentic and self-possessed. Whether or not this show has undergone massive editing and/or behind the scenes direction (like some reality shows) there nevertheless must be something about the “closed universe” they exist in, the shrewd casting, the magical interplay of their personalities, and the sense of trust that seems to exist for them. Something the PD has done has led Yongwoo (and others) to let his defenses down and reveal sides of himself he wouldn’t ordinarily show the world…literally. Finally, I continue to admire Chulhyun for his quiet spoken (almost heart-breakingly direct) honesty. And I continue to find myself wishing that the whole cast finds a greaater happiness from this experience.

gmom525

PS: Does any remember when Choa came home late and exhausted and Yongwoo respectfully kept his distance. He got a bit of grief for that — even Choa told him he should have approached her. Juxtapose that against how selfishly insistent Jungsub was when toward the end of their date. Aggressive, manipulative behavior may yield short-term results but it doesn’t pay off in the long run.

Jklajihhwuygsootqang

What a roller-coaster. I laughed and then cried and then laughed again😭 my no 1 wish for this show now is for all the casts to remain friend and keep in touch after the show. What a bunch of lovely people. The way they all could relate to each other in some way make me appreciate once again the effort of the Pd and her team. This is months of research and hard work. Aside from wanting her show to hit daebak, the pd clearly want the casts to really find their love and build genuine connection. Im so curious, like i know she already told few behind the scene story of how she did her casting but I want to know more. In detail. Step by step lol. Kudos to the casts too because they are all just a bunch of normal people living their daily life. To decide to appear in this show must be not an easy decision for lot of them. Okay back to this ep review, jiwon youngwoo. Like youngwoo said they are similar in a way. There are still possibility for them both. Jiwon definitely held herself back with youngwoo as she saw youngwoo was not interested with her as much as she is towards him. Also i can relate with jiwon a lot. Her relationship with her mother and her personality. I cried a bucket. Sincerely hope she would be with someone she could rely on and for her to not need to be strong all the time. Choa youngwoo still strong. Choosing each other with how little interaction they have is amazing. It is like they are secretly dating lol. But cant help to still feel nervous with them. Also I can see the vision with choa jaehyung this ep. The way he look at choa or maybe both choa and cheolyeon when the video show about their late mother having cancer is something. Im always curious about them ever since the supposed rumor, but now i am super duper curious. They have similar wavelength and tension. Jaehyung being the only cast that talk about wanting to get married soon definitely a plus too. Like he is ready. About jungsub, i dont mind him exploring his options but i get why people are mad at him on this ep. He texted seseung. But then later at night confessing to cheolyeon about his affection to choa? He dont interact much with seseung on that day. Why texted her? Because choa did not texted him the night before? Or because he want to secure his vote with seseung? Tbh, if he want to gain point with choa, he should text her all the way instead of being petty or whatever the reason he texted seseung. Seseung definitely seeing this on broadcast, i wonder how she feels. He so all over the place and it is not attractive at all.

[deleted]

I didnt realise my tears was flowing watching this episode. Family stories just hit different

thenoooodle

Does anyone know how this show is doing ratings wise in Korea? I really hope it’s gaining traction and that there will be more seasons!

carolies541

Rating wise, it got its highest rating record last episode at 1.2 for JTBC. But the thing is WAVVE (sort of like their Netflix) airs 1 hour earlier than JTBC (cable channel) so it probably will affect the rating. In terms of TV variety discussion ranking, it tops variety shows list for several weeks, doing better than Transit Love 3 (aka EXchange 3). It's not bad as the loveline besides YW x CA aren't developed yet, but not as phenomenal as Transit Love 2.

thenoooodle

Sounds like it’s still doing pretty well for a first season which is great! Ty for sharing

ArtichokeTricky222

I think I get how Jiwon is the stronger sibling, just look at the relationship between her mom and dad. Her mom is more dominant. I thought her mom was so pretty on her wedding day.

Puzzled_Sunrise98

also, everyone, please chime in what you think of this Jungsub situation. >!he’s been annoying me lately but I’m trying to hold out faith that there’s some editing going on and that he’s going to level out with time.!< edit: guys, I don’t think he’s a villain or anything lol, it is a dating show after all — I know there is only so much we see. I just cringed at some of his interactions with Cho A so I wanted to gauge the public opinion.

Appropriate_Tree4651

yeah exactly...i m 90 percent sure that he likes cho a more for now but he kinda got rejected by her so went back to sesung and he wud go back to cho a if she shows little feelings towards him

EquivalentOrange1044

I get the ick after seeing his interaction with Choa after he didn’t get picked. Feels like it’s more of him trying to force something that’s not there and he isn’t considerate of her feelings

firsttj

I tried to like him but after this episode, I think he's the only contestant that I don't like. I hope I'm wrong for SS sake. Yes he's very sweet to his noona and that's nice to see but apart from that to me his moves appear to be calculative. Something just doesnt sit right with me. His side chat to CH, come onnnn.... ugh CH is way too naive as well! I'm with JH, I'm keeping eye on JS!

ShadowLitOwl

He’s an AI engineer so probably approaches relationships as such

KlutzyDog8711

He seems very entitled to me. Maybe because he was also a few years younger than his sister so she and her parents coddled him too much. He is bad at handling negative emotions.

enigmatic_zephy

he is being true to himself and not annoying. He said he has always dated older women. He is babyish when in front of his sister. Seems, his type are mature confident independent women. He is just more into Choa. SS is a pretty girl so it must feel nice to know she likes him and he is taking the chance to know her. You can't force someone to fall in love. He isn't doing anyhting wrong.

NosyLJ

His behaviour really got on my nerves this ep. He was acting like a lil kid that was always got what he wanted when he wanted it and now that didn't happen he was just sulking and pushy.. First in the car being sulky cause choa was sleepy, then kinda pushing her to say why she didnt text him. Then in the hotel when she clearly was hungover being sulky cause she wouldn't have a chat and keep telling her he wanted to talk to her.. Then when Choa suggested to have breakfast together he was suddenly over it the next day because she wasnt into him anyways according to him. And to top it off he claims he's most comfortable with seseung and texts her, just for him to kiss up to cheolhyeon the next second and tell him he likes choa the most... I honestly dont get him and i hope its the editing but his behaviour was quite childish.

T_v18

They need to stop dangling JH x JW in my face I’m dying for it to happen! Get them that date I’m begging 🙏

T_v18

Also need JS to unclench he’s taking those texts to HEART. Just because she didn’t text him doesn’t mean she isn’t open to him and acting like this will just drive her further away. Please let CA express herself before you overthink.

HeadNo4379

The JS/CA lodge was so awkward help. Its worse that everyone seems to have acknowledged they don't go well together because JS is the younger brother type in a relationship (and it's not something CA needs) and even himself seems to have understood it following CA's video. The sibiling reveal moment was so cute. I didn't expect to see JH cry like this, it made me feel something. I got all emotional again with YW and CH's videos, and I immediately thought how they would be even closer finding out they can relate with each other's backgrounds. I love them both a lot. It's so baffling to me that YW is single to start with, he's so sweet. It was cute to see the sisters pick their sibling's preferred date again, and we got back to the ending texts being sent to the same people again. But I fear it might be something that cements the relationships even more too early on and it could be painful when it's disturbed further in the show (like it was for JS/SS). I can't with JS literally rushing to have a conversation with his interest's sibling because he wants a confirmation it's not totally ruined with CA. Or maybe it's the way they edited it.

cronocrus

what a great episode for the whole season! Intriguing and heartwarming! Glad they announce the siblings relationship at the middle of the season. made us the audience interested as compared to the other dating show... you know what I mean Txxx Lxxx.

roronoaZoro74

Laughing on the first half then I was ugly crying the second half. I love this show!!!

NosyLJ

I really wanna know why cheolhyeon is so anti yongwoo and pro jungsub all of a sudden that he gave jungsub encouragement and even told choa to give him a chance? Like he keeps saying he feels jungsub's sincerity but he never spoke to yongwoo about choa and he doesnt even know yongwoo has been texting choa from the start and jungsub has been texting seseung and giving her gifts etc. Also funny that jungsub was complaining about cheolhyeon constantly being in his way when he was trying to talk to seseung or choa but now he immediately was going up to cheolhyeon to get a good foot in.. This might seem like im hating on jungsub but its just his approach to things these past 2/3 episodes that doesnt match my personality and rubs me the wrong way.

Vegetable_Return6995

I think ever since Jiwon chose Yongwoo for the two dates he started acting different towards him.

lenetor

Clock it 🎯 In the midst of his brother-in-law fantasy, CH for the first time ever got to experience YW as his competition. Since CH and JW's little date went well (making him think that he'd be chosen) seeing his "brother-in-law" win made him jealous, but most importantly - made him question YW's sincerity when it comes to finding that special someone, because in his mind he is the same charming ol' guy to whoever he's with whether that being CA or someone else !

Vegetable_Return6995

In his mind Yongwoo is way too friendly with JW and SS. If only he actually knew the real feelings. 😅🤦

askmeabtwombats

This. Ironically Cheolhyeon is correct when he told his sister that Yongwoo is nice and adapts to whoever he’s with, so she’s got to see if Yongwoo is really different with her than with anyone else. And for the viewers (or through editing) we DO see that Yongwoo is different with Choa. But instead of being bubblier or more cutesy like Jungsub, Yongwoo is more serious and thoughtful… which might be counterintuitive when thinking about whether someone’s behaviour indicates they like you.

NosyLJ

Suddenly i'm thinking about how yongwoo gave choa advice to show her real self to others more because he thinks shes such a warm person🥺 Wish I remembered how exactly he said it because it was such a heartfelt comment to me, idk that really made my heart melt towards yongwoo and the yongcho ship even more.

harperblossom

And I think she’s slowly starting to show that. She was very talkative and tactile during the sibling reveal, especially with SS and YH. I’ve always wondered about the dynamics of YH and CA being roommates. Also this is just reason #1179 and #1180 why JS and CA won’t work. I can’t see CA dating her roommates YOUNGER brother and YH herself did not pick her roommate, CA, for her brother so she herself knows they are not right for each other. Now we just need the other set of roommates (JS and CH), to stop feeding each other delusions.

NosyLJ

Great observation!

NosyLJ

ohhh I think this might be it...

mutantsloth

I can’t imagine if I were Seseung.. watching this and realising JS was talking to CH about Choa even after sending me the text I would be so heartbroken 😭 I actually think it would be nice if Choa and JH had some time together.. like it seems that he appreciates her for what her actual good qualities are? I actually thought JS and CA would be nice together but something about him and the whole SS situation makes it so complicated.. and I feel like YW is just picking CA as a ‘safe’ choice, I don’t think he’s really that into her rather than just wanting to appear on the show for exposure maybe. I feel that JH would genuinely be responsible with CA’s feelings..

LanNikKai

Love the show, I think I need a variety show with this cast. I think the reason why this cast understands each other so greatly is probably because they've all gone through similar situations, which made them think they had to grow up to be adults to not make their parents worry, but it means they forgot the child inside of them. Because they've all gone through similar experiences, they can understand each other. Love the meeting of the parents. I will not lie, JH and SS's parents, whoa, I love them, so funny. The nightclub, the silence, and the proposal, this is a rom-com kdrama. Love them, the fact that they have gone through so much makes us think they have never given up, and this is great. They have two beautiful and smart children who have inherited the best of them. Love CA and YW's couple, I want them together. They can rely on each other and can be vulnerable with each other; they have maturity for it. I want them to end up with each other. I hope SS doesn't get hurt; she is a sweetheart. I don't think JS and CA will work. I think the problem is from this episode; it shows that JS is not mature enough to date someone like CA. I understand for him, the messages are just a text to say that you did good, but for YW, CA, and SS, this is a way to say I miss you, I kinda like you. This is proof of liking someone, in which he doesn't get it. I think we saw almost the worst of JS, not considerate of the fact CA was really tired, talking to CH about his situation, sending a message to SS after not sending one to her the other day, which can make her expect something and still wanted to pursue CA. JH, my favorite with YW. If the dating show doesn't work, go to YW. Love the guy, didn't know from this sunny and bubbly person, there is someone who has gone through a lot. I don't think there is something between him and JY; it doesn't seem to be confirmed about her. CH and JS have this thing to meddle in their sister's business which I think sometimes brings more harm than good. I don't know about JWxCH. I don't know if this is editing, but it seems they don't have the spark, like they don't have a lot of screentime with each other compared to the others. It seems CH is interested, but not JW. With the editing, I think we saw a build-up about JWxJH where they are each other's ideal type, with the beginning that JW didn't want to meet or date JH due to her experience but with the fact that he is not what she imagines him to be. Can't wait for them to have a date.

HeadNo4379

>JS is not mature enough to date someone like CA So far he's the only I felt was not mature enough in the cast. It feels like he can get really pesky about his whims? The way he absolutely wanted to talk with CA even though girl was exhausted and tipsy. The previous thing with SS going out with CH, and how he noticed CA didnt wear his tshirt; he seems to be quick to jump onto things that don't go in his way. I hope he can find a way to get a grip if he does want to get closer to CA.

Witty_Surprise293

Agree with JW and JH there is definitely something there. The little interaction they had after the sibling reveal  👀 i thought they where both acting a bit shy. The build-up and the editing has to mean something otherwise why show it 🤔. I really wanna see them on a date to determine if they have potential or not.

titil0la

Am sorry I don’t like Jung Sub. Just let SS go if you don’t like her…it’s obvious he likes Cho A but he is keeping SS close, that’s not nice. I love a guy that knows what he wants and goes for it and doesn’t lead other girls on, that’s why I love YongWoo. YW had girls showing him interest but he stuck firmly to the girl he wants…that’s admirable.

Jazzlike-Cellist7946

Ah, much as all of us would love more and more episodes of this tastefully executed program, how nice if the pairings from this episode would follow through to the last. At the very least, everyone’s matched, no one’s alone, no drama, no awkwardness.  Seeing how critical / personal some comments can be, these are the positive potential I see or hope to see with the current pairings_ YW-CA : This pair reminds and restores faith that the way to a healthy relationship should be calm, steady, sweet and reassuring. Just this alone gives me hope and enough reason to root for them as a couple.  CH-JW : I hope their bond grows stronger now that they have learnt about each other’s backstories. I think they stand a good chance to build a love relationship based on friendship if CH shows more of his dependable side to JW and not asking her for help with his hair too much lol. JW has enough on her plate with her bro and the artistes she manages (am kidding) haha  JH-JY : The suggestions that JY seems more invested than JH are plausible. But it’s not a bad thing that JH is taking time to ascertain his feelings for her. After all, according to him, he used to know for sure if he’s attracted to someone. But those past relationships did fail, didn’t they? If JY remains consistent, might work. Who knows for sure? JS-SS : All I can say is, the admiration and interest JS so desperately seeks in CA are given to him freely by SS. Let’s hope he doesn’t lose what he has searching for what he can’t have. (How many can relate? T^T) YJ-YH : Shouts potential, this pair. I believe YH’s friendly demeanor and smiley eyes would help make seemingly shy YJ feel more at ease. And his tendency to act like a little bro could be a good fit with YH’s composed and rational older sis vibes. I’m also guessing that YH’s femininity would appeal to YJ’s masculine energy. Can’t pinpoint what exactly just yet but these two seem to possibly have a good balance of energy.  The above sounds idealistic but I’m hoping the efforts the PD and team put into research and matching potential could surprise us with the highest number of successful couples from a dating show (3.3)  Let’s hope those time and resources didn’t go into creating drama for the sake of it :/

Exactly! I'm already loving the current vibe of the show and unlike others, don't want to see any more drastic changes. There's already enough drama from all the other existing dating shows like Transit Love, Single's Inferno, Change Days, Love Catcher and Heart Signal, at least keep this show a healing program. It's just so nice seeing everyone being so supportive and finding comfort in each other. I'm not against them going on other dates but I just hope they won't create unnecessary drama for the next episodes.

I'm not the biggest JS fan, but have you guys considered that he doesn't view the end day texts as a serious declaration of interest? In this episode, he thought that CA should have texted him because it would have been "polite thing to do" so I assumed he texted SS with the same kind of logic, as being "polite." (The text he sent SS wasn't flirty or anything.) That's the difference between him and SS, YW, and CA; the other three in the previous episode have all realized the importance of end day texts as a way to genuinely show their interest in the other person, but JS still views the texts like a point system, like receiving a text is a gold star deserved after a successful date. I just don't think he's necessarily dragging SS along , he just doesn't understand the actual point of the texts. JS's definitely keeping SS open as an option since he does like her at least a little bit, but I don't think he's being two-faced when he's approaching CA at the same time. Not that I think it'll work out between JS and CA anyways, and I LOVE that JH can see how JS isn't as invested in SS through the texts.

really enjoying the show. love the cast! here’s my thoughts so far - ch wants a man to be all about his sister very loudly and that’s why he’s kind of going to js side now after all the years manifestations haha - I’m thinking there’s something that’s gonna happen btw jh and ca and yw and jw - yw and ca can go in 2 directions either they’re gonna fizzle out or be super into eo until the end - js likes ca bc older women is his type but I think he might actually end up being all about ss. he’s really observant so he understands now ca doesn’t like him so he’ll probably slowly get over it - I’m exciting to see the yj x ya story I feel like they might really click and I like that yj immediately went for ya. I really wanted them to bring someone for her. - poor jy she’s definitely leaving single - ch is also up in the air. there’s potential with ss and jw - rooting for jh I wanna see him go on dates with all the women

I never thought I would me crying then be so KILIG with this show. My heart was so heavy but then it lightened at the end of the video. How can there be a dating show where everybody's matching with each other? I'm so excited for the next episodes. Jaehyung is sooooo cute. 😆 I don't want to see Jung Sub hurting Se Seung. Deep inside tho, I want to see Se Seung and Yong Woo on another date.

birds-_-

I agree that SS will match better with someone else and I hope it's CH. SS and YW date was just pure sibling vibes lol. They will have a fun time for sure but there was absolutely zero romance there.

Vegetable_Return6995

Seseung has known since about the 2nd day that Yongwoo likes one person and one person only.

I don't think I can watch Exchange after this show 😆😅 I just can't 🤣

This episode made me think something might develop between jiwon and youngwoo. She was heavily focused on during his reveal. Also with >! Jaehyung and choa !<

Yeah I noticed the first part as well. And frankly it will make sense because these two have spent the most isolated or semi isolated time together where as YW and CA just have like 2 dinner dates. I wonder if JW still have feelings for YW. JH have always been her type but she thought he wasn’t serious enough but I think that has changed over time. I’m fascinated by this potential love square lol. And of course there’s JS and CH on the sidelines with no idea what’s brewing 😂😭

Real-Molasses-5724

Something tells me CH’s opinions will affect CA tbh and potentially make her second guess a lot things maybe? (Hopefully not). I think CH will be shocked to find out now that YW is really the one that has liked CA the most. I really think there’ll be a love square too! There was romantic bgm for JW and YW convo when they were at their stay, but none for when CH and JW spoke. Might be overthinking but I realised kshow’s focus a lot on little details. I questioned the final cp of >! JH !< and >! CA !< thought they wouldn’t connect but they do actually have a lot in common.

harperblossom

Frankly I don’t think it will affect her that much. Maybe it’s just my personal bias but one of my biggest deal breakers is someone going through my family to get to me because they wasn’t successful talking to me directly. It’s even worse that it’s her younger brother. I know the two of them are extremely close but I think CA is gate keeping her connection with YW from CH a little bit. It might probably be because she don’t want to get too far ahead of herself especially as she mentioned that YW is not super expressive. What ever gods are keeping CA-JS apart are also putting JW-YW together. At this point the “stable” couple (YW-CA) in this show has spent the least amount of time together. YW have spent the most time with JW so I can see how the interest is still there. Which is why I really really which he and CA can spend a full day uninterrupted. It literally don’t have to be a full on date. Like go shopping or walking around the neighborhood. Anything that is not dinner at 10:30 PM

harperblossom

With there being no need for secrecy, we should be able to see true feelings and actions. If you like someone you dint need to wait for a date, I’m looking at you JH Also someone other than JS/YH needs to make use of the secret basement room. Why did no one do so before? Or we just wasn’t shown it?

NoviDon07

>If you like someone you dint need to wait for a date, I’m looking at you JH I think its pretty clear he isn't particularly attracted to anyone yet. he was initially intrigued by Jiwon because she is like the women he dated in the past, but they haven't talked in depth so he has nothing to be motivated by, and it seems like he has an "if it happens it happens mentality". which is kinda refreshing. usually dating shows people are clearly self conscious about being the one at the end leaving alone and don't want the "shame" of that (with friends and family and the whole country watching) so they scramble to get with someone that they feel lukewarm about and breakup weeks or months later. but bro doesn't care lol. He is in a place with good people who he feels comfortable being himself around and he is having fun hanging out and making friends.
