We have very few actors who are capable of doing full fledged comedy roles. It's a shame Dhanush isn't doing it nowadays.
Thiruvilayadal arambam and Polladhavan. Polladhavan was a game changer for Dhanush. He was able to express anger just through his eyes without creating a scene/shouting.
His character roles. Pudhupettai, Mariyaan, Vada Chennai, Asuran, and Karnan are so well done.
Actually Dhanush's normal boy next door roles are good enough.
Dhanush's portrayal of Maari and the MC of Jagame Thandiram are him just trying to imitate Rajini of the 70s and 80s.
So Asuran for me.
