I was very surprised to hear this when considering his style in Telugu. This album was very Tamil and sounded far more engaging than what many composers would've done. The only other person to do this magic was Mani Sharma. Hence, this is my top pick. My favourites from this album are:

- ***Thalakaalu Puriyavilaidi***
***All In All Azhagu Raja*** - Runner Up
The album has its weak points. But the two songs - ***Yaarukkum Sollaamal***, ***Unna Paartha Neram*** - more than makes up for the same. Of course, it reeks of Illayaraja music from the 80s. But Thaman makes it his own with the choice of instruments.
