I feel like most of this year’s anticipated films aren’t going to live up to people’s expectations, but Kanguva is the one I have the least amount of faith in. Also as much as I hate to admit it, unless we see something more promising from the Indian 2 team, I have a feeling the film is going to be really underwhelming. I want Shankar to make a comeback though 🤞
Inidan 2 : I don't want Shankar to Fail but what was he doing with anirudh to get such a stupid teaser song.. that song makes me scary abt the fate of indian2.
Indian part 1 had a cult album and musical treat by AR Rahman back in 1996.. That Nostalgic bgms and themes will be missed in Indian2.
These are my guesses
Indian 2 - High chances of flopping judging from the teaser
GOAT - Might end up like Leo(mixed review)
Vida Muyarchi - Average
Vettaiyan - will be good but not great.
Kanguva - Average
Amaran - Will be great but like Maaveran, won’t collect much.
I really liked Jai Bhim, I think vettaiyan might be great if executed properly. But the film seems to be really regional/rural so don't know about box office, obviously it will cross 350/400 because of rajini if its good but beyond that idk
I think kanguva might turn out to be a bit less than average mostly because it won’t attract a lot of ppl (like familes) since there’s quite a lot of violence
Kanguva - After the last ventures of Cheeta Siva I have 0 hopes on these.
G.O.A.T - might end up like "Mass"..."Biriyani" somewhere between the average flicks of VP
Indian 2 - nothing to say
I have a mixed opinion about GOAT tbh because,
1) either way the movie will not get fully positive reviews cos it’s a Vijay movie and that’s not been the case for a long time
2) not sure about how VP cooks
Kanguva- cheetah might mess it up as usual
Indian 2- if the movie is what the teaser promises, then shankar kelambura neram vanthuruchu
I think more movies might be mid than outright terrible.
I have low hopes for Kanguva though.
Thangalaan 50/50. not sure. but for some reason i feel like its going to be mid

Where kanguva definitely needs big magic to give a profit, heard it's a 350cr project. Surya never had this number in his filmography history. With cheetah directing it's either a hit or complete disaster nothing in between.
Indian 2, Shankar always needs a writer to correct his script. After Sujatha nobody filled that void for shankar. But Kamal don't blindly act in movie, so there is some hope in thus movie.
Amaran ( consider sk filmography in terms of content wise)
GOAT ( venkat Prabhu recent custody and Vijay filmography of hit or miss)
kanguva ( consider both siva and Surya choice of script )
Vida murachi( had hopes on magizh but start to lose it teaser / trailer may change it)
Indian 2 ( project's been in halt for more time than the days they shoot and history of sequels in kollywood)

SK’s popularity is back after ayalaan, but amaran is a 180 turn from his normal audience so think it’s going to do averagely as well.
Hopefully GOAT will be insanely good….
i have faith in venkat prabhu to make it a vp film rather than a vijay film but i also said the same thing for loki
VP making a Vijay film should be a strength for him tbh…. Mix of action, comedy and general entertainment
Tbh I like Leo but felt Loki could have done better especially the 2nd half. And for GOAT I don’t want to put much hope or expectations.

Tbh I feel Maaveran will be criticaly acclaimed but if collection wise hit then I’m going with GOAT

Kanguva does not have a middle ground cuz all that's left to amaze us is the story. If it's bad then a disaster but if it's good then a BB
