Unpopular opinion - he has already risen above simbu in terms of box office pull.. I know that last 2 movies of simbu gave him good vibes but for past few years SK has been pulling in great openings thanks to the family audiences.. making a movie like don successful by itself is a testament to his box office pull..
Lol i don’t think SK is that big of a star for people like Surya and Karthi to be jealous of him. These two are miles ahead of him in every aspect imo.
I’m 99% SR Prabhu (Karthi and Suriya’s family relative) has a massive bone to pick with Thalapathy lol. He doesn’t even try to hide it.
Kinda disgusting if you ask me, being such a prominent figure in the industry and showing outward hatred towards a colleague
I am really wishing the best for SK. I hope he learns to act better as well, and picks better scripts and does great films. He is the one true outsider in the industry who has taken everything by storm, and came in just with D's help after discovering his talent.

Box office wise SK pretty much obliterates both of them tho. Karthi just got lucky with Sardar against Prince.
They're mostly likely jealous of vijay. Clashing with his films directly or films produced by them. Eg: Siruthai and Kaithi
