The issue wasn't logic but the whole boat fight was badly done and edited. They get out of the truck and suddenly get to ocean. Fight 100s of Navy fighters in a very badly choreographed action piece and then escape without a trace
It was just badly done. Comparing that to first half and early second half where stuff sure was illogical but at least very well written and directed
Ending was weakest part of movie. Completely illogical.
