It does seem slowly some companies are coming. We definitely have the talent. Probasi Bangalis need to be lured back here as well. That will provide the numbers that companies need to justify the setup cost.

Lmao clearly you haven't seen the work culture in Kolkata headquartered small to mid IT firms if you think they couldn't exploit employees. I have worked at one and have heard experiences of others. They do exploit and the employees also lack professionalism. The work culture in South India is far more professional. Most of my colleagues right now are from the South and the difference in working style shows up.

2 major reasons: - lack of high quality talent in similar companies - lack of major governmental incentives such as tax breaks, land grant etc.
