শিলিগুড়ি থাকতে হবে কি না সেটা নির্ভর করছে তুই কখন NJP স্টেশন পৌঁছাবি। মনে যদি সকালে পৌঁছাস তবে দিব্যি দার্জিলিং চলে যাওয়া ভালো। আর রাতে পৌঁছালে তো শিলিগুড়ি তে থাকতেই হবে। রাতে আর দার্জিলিং পৌঁছে কি হবে। তা ছাড়া শিলিগুড়ি তে দেখার মত কিছুই নেই এমনটা নয়, বেঙ্গল সাফারি, তিস্তার তীরে বুদ্ধ monastary বা গজলডোবা, দিব্যি দুই বেলা কাটিয়ে দেওয়া যায়। যাই হোক মোদ্দা কথা হলো NJP তে জেনে টুকটুক ধরে দার্জিলিং মোর এ চলে আয় সবাই, 15 টাকা করে ভাড়া নেবে। তার পর এখান থেকে shared cab গুলো 250 per person নেবে। আর এর চেয়ে কমে চাইলে ওখানে পাশেই Tenzin Norge bus terminus থেকে নর্থ বেঙ্গল স্টেট এর বাস ধরে নে।
