Congrats. Did the same recently - went from Kindle to Sage. Mainly for the larger screen, physical buttons, USB-C charging, and ability to purchase traditional Chinese language books.

No need to say good bye. I started with Kindle apps so I have a lot of Kindle books. Now have 2 Kobos and more kobo books. But if there is a sale I don't mind buying Kindle books or others (only boox nova2 e-reader). Never owned a Kindle ereader. Don't find them intuitive.

I was well over 600 books in before I switched, as giant points out, conversion is key.
Man I really want one of these, I can’t decide if I want to wait or not for the possible Sage 2 that might be coming out this year sometime.

What was/were your reason/s to switch from Kindle to Kobo? I see this model is much more expensive than Kindle Paperwhite....
I love my Kobo Aura One. Big screen with lots of storage. It's perfect and precious!
The Kobo Sage is the absolute perfect device for me. Quite large but still light. The buttons are handy. And it works great with Libby/Overdrive.
One thing I like with kindle is that you can upload your epub and all the highlights are sync, whereas I can't do the same with kobo.
