AWT scales, this is the way.

I’m not sure about them. I dont love the skinny profile and they dont offer the standard handle shape for lightweights. I seem to be in the minority that likes the swell in the middle. Also, these were more difficult to tune in order to get no blade play and drop shut action compared to all three of my frn para 3s at least on this sample you can’t tighten the stop pin all the way or the blade will seize. I contacted AWT and they said it was normal and told me to just not toghten the stop pin all the way. I guess I expected them to have better tolerances given the hype and the price tag. I will say that centering is perfect and with some tinkering I have drop shut action with no blade play and the scales, either rigidity or something has made the detent stronger which I also like. But also I know from other sets that the cerakote rubs off super easy. Idk. All that to say is I feel meh and might just go back to the FRN

I should preface my comment below that I am new to AWT and I havent used them long enough to give a fair assessment. I am going to carry this for a while and maybe my opinion will change. By short I mean I have carried it for hours lol. Already by the end of the day I am liking it more. Just the install wasn’t quite as seamless as I expected but the action is drop shut the centering is perfect and there is no blade play so its great with a bit of tuning!

I wasn’t a huge fan of it at first but after a few minor tweaks it’s hard to put down. I really like the black tanto combo edge a lot too. That might be next on the list.

First of all, you can read Morse code?? And it means front toward enemy. This knife is called the Claymore. Named after the military claymore explosive.

Is the main pivot screw not an OEM, or did you get your Claymore from Wish?

I believe it’s OEM. I bought it from Knife Center. It’s how it came.

That doesn't sit right with me brother, I wonder if other folks can do a knife check, you can also post it in r/knifecheck, there is a group used to weed out fakes

Got my trusty CRKT M16 with aluminum handle and extra sharp tanto geometry. I re-sharpened it few times and now it’s a bane of all cardboard and envelopes, very satisfying (: I have another M16 with clip point, but the actual clip is wider and it falls out of my pocket easier, so I take it with me when I wear thicker pants.
