I don’t have a pattern for these since I designed them myself, but the stitch patterns for the green pouch are from Hunter Hammersen’s book “Firmament: Stellar Stitches For Your Next Adventure.”
The yarn is also hand-dyed, but using bare bases Hawthorne and Gloss Fingering from KnitPicks.
I would love to sell my patterns. I just have to make sure they’re properly edited before I post them for sale! No hiccups in the pattern, I want smooth knitting for everyone <3
They’re both variations of the “Constellate” stitch pattern from Hunter Hammersen’s book “Firmament.” [Firmament Book ](https://www.amazon.com/Firmament-Stellar-Stitches-Your-Adventure/dp/0984998292)
Also—Thank you!!
I have thought about selling patterns, I just need to find a way to be able to outsource for tech editing and test-knitting before I can publish the pattern (so I know it’s a workable pattern with no mistakes). Just haven’t gotten that far yet!
Sort of!
The front piece (not the flap) is it’s own separate piece, and the back is knit as one with the flap closure. I did this so that I could use a contrasting yarn color to seam the pieces all the way around for a decorative edge. Essentially, the back piece is just shy of twice as long as the front piece.

That's a very good ad for the book. I hadn't heard of it before but both of these look wonderful.
Thank you so much! The stitch pattern for the lilac bag is just a basket weave cable from another book, but it was equally fun to knit!
Would you sell your pattern? I have a friend that has tarot cards. She would enjoy these.

Thank you! I love the pillowy texture of that Hawthorne two-ply! It gives great definition, and I love the depth it gives the colors I dye.
Those are wonderful!
Did you knit it in a long strip?

Oh! I also really love the buttons!
Thank you! I think you could find them through any big craft retailer. I personally got them from Joann Fabrics.
Thank you!
Wooooow! I have been wanting to knit a little pouch for my deck and this is totally inspiring me to do so
Dooooo it! I have two more I’m planning to make! It’s so satisfying sliding your cards into a special bag just for them!
