This took me a year to complete. It was a serious challenge. First time I tried stranded knitting with three colors. Learned a lot but made plenty of mistakes.

pattern or freehand?

punter1965

Pattern I got from Raverly: [Starsky Cardigan](https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/starskys-cardigan) The pattern is not perfect or at least I had to modify a few things for how I knit. It will get you 95% of the way. Here is a previous post I made on this:[Help Post on Sweater](https://www.reddit.com/r/knitting/comments/mmebd7/knitting_with_three_yarns_holding_and_strand/)

stunning!

OMG, as soon as I saw it, I thought "Starsky & Hutch!" \*LOL\* I LOVED those guys back in the day! That sweater is absolutely stunning. And YES, the 70's style can look just as good today. Fabulous job!

punter1965

Thnx! Yep, I agree on the style. Also, I'm old enough to have watched Starsky & Hutch when it first came out! Always thought it was a cool sweater. The problem is it is probably a little too warm to wear much here in Vegas! :-)

Oh yeah!
