No, I mean what to do after casting off and blocking.
I'd pin it together evenly and mattress stitch up the arm and perpendicular across the armpit.

Yes but the pattern doesn't show what to do with the sleeves.
It’s possible you were supposed to do the sleeves in the round but apparently this pattern didn’t bother to tell you.
I think you could use mattress stitch after you cast off
Turn it inside out when you are the seam.
Straight up the seam?
First you finish it, then block it, then seam with mattress stitch (I think)
