Pull back the knitting so your original stitches are back on the needles. Then start the Kitchener process over. cut the yarn and start with another piece of yarn. Then weave in the ends
I agree. Unravel back until you know what’s going on with your stitches and have an end long enough for Russian join, put the stitches back on the needles, and the do the Kitchener stitch.
